Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

I am sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. I would agree with what some of these ladies have said and try eating a small meal in the morning. I know that I usually wake up in the middle of the night and I'm starving...so I usually eat a piece of toast with peanut butter or something to get some protein...but not too much. I really hope you start feeling better, and best of luck!

i think i have heard of these symptoms before...and usually it is right before you deliver that these things happen. just make sure that your midwife is keeping a close eye on you and dont hesitate to call her if you feel strange about anything at all. if i were you, i would lay on your left side as much as possible...this is supposed to be the best resting position for you and for the baby. you can also try kneeling on your bed, with your arms in front of you supporting your upper body - this position is supposed to take all pressure off of the baby in case they are resting on the cord. good luck to you!

Hey there! If the baby has not become engaged in the pelvis, this could be why you feel this way. Try to eat very small meals and dont drink anything for at least 10 min after you finish eating. This is what my doc had me do in the begining of my pregnancy. The post left by baby.bray is also try and can contribute to the feeling. When in doubt, I always call L&D. Hope this helps, and wait a few hours, the ladies will give you some more good advise....They are probably sleep, which is something that I know little about. LOL. Take care!

hi babybac, I've experianced somthing similar to what you've described - my body feels like its ben drained of blood and I start seeing 'spots' in front of my eyes - I used to faint alot when I was younger so the drs haven't said anything about it x I know that this doesn't help much but you are not alone x
