January 12th 2008:

well this is my first day on here....im very interested in being able to speak with women who are as far along as i am...this will be helpful:) i still dont think i ve felt the baby move yet...but sometimes i dont know cause im not exactly sure what im looking for either! a few days ago i had terrible abdominal pains all over but the dr. said it was normal. just very uncomfortable for me and that my job at UPS probably doesnt help the situation any more so he gave me a weight restriction of 30 pounds. also haven't gained much more than 5 pounds yet....the nurse told me "don't worry hunny, it will come later:)" since we dont know what the sex is (unfortunetly) we say "Baby B" cause both girl and boy names we have picked out start with B..well possibly (my favorites).thats all for now....hope to speak to some of you soon!

March 17th 2008

I suppose i should update this! I am almost 28 weeks already! i got an ultrasound on Feb. 22nd. luckily since our hospital doesnt do them unless they think its necessary...i know one of the dr.s pretty well so she had me "measuring big" so i could get one! it was so amazing to see baby on the screen...and to see that everything was good...and we got to find out the sex. and IT"S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited...we both are. and we have named her Braelyn Renee. Beautiful:) i take my glocuse test on Thursday. i am a little nervous for that and hope i pass...my family is coming this weekend for Easter, they havent seen my belly since Christmas so i am very excited. Our nursery is almost done and we just purchased the car seat/stroller this past weekend as well. Time is flying and every day im getting more and more ready to meet my little girl:)

March 25th 2008

Well i found out today that i failed my 1 hour glucose test:( but only by 2 points! so hopefully the 3 hour one (next monday) will go smoothly. I had my 28 week appt. last thursday. Heartbeat was 142..i had gained 6 pounds! The most so far in between appointments. But have gained 18 all together...which i think is normal:).. i am also measuring 28 1/2 to 29 weeks, so about a week big. good..maybe they ll move up my due date:) I also start going every 2 weeks!! I'm so excited, she ll be here betore we know it. I have a breastfeeding class tonight so hopefully that is informative for me. Then 3 more weeks of prenatal classes. Wish me luck on my 3 hour Glucose Test! i really would HATE a diet:(

May 1st 2008

Well to refresh from last time, i did pass my 3 hour glucose test so that was very reassuring! Today i had my 34 week appt. and everything looks good. The nurse doing the heartbeat (which was 148) said "oh wow, this is a very strong heartbeat listen to it!, baby is getting ready to meet you!" so that was exciting. Then Dr. came in and measured me, still measuring a week big, and she said i have DEF. dropped, baby is head down and very much in position! She told me i will probably go early and to be very careful the next 2 weeks so we make it to 36 weeks. NO SEX she said...(which is fine with me..haha) and not to do too much strenuous activities. .....So i guess we will see! it excites me, cauese everything looks good and i could possibly be holding my baby girl in May instead of June:)

June 5th 2008

Well...i did not have a May baby..that 34 week appt. was a bunch of crap! when i got checked at 36 weeks i was nothing, and the doc acted like she had said nothing hopeful the previous appt, so that really discouraged me. Anyways, i had my 39 week appt today with my favorite doctor, and we have made a little progress...i am 1 cm dilated, 80% effaced, and her head is at -1 station. So its more than before! I have been walking ALOT..wishful thinking that i will go in the next few days..my mom from SD and sister from Milwaukee will both be here next weekend, so it would be perfect to have baby in the next few days , be out of the hospital and home a few days before our company comes...but who really knows? It would just be fantastic:)...its getting super hot/humid...i dont know how people are pregnant all through the summer...i fell for you all! Well good luck for everyone...hopefully it ll be real soon that we hold our little ones:) i cant wait for Princess!!!!!!!
