I have been coming onto this website for a while now, almost everyday, looking at how the baby is developing and reading everyone's comments! So I thought it was about time to join!

My partner Chris and I have been together for 4 years now and decided to start trying for a baby in November 2007. We were very lucky to fall pregnant so quickly. We think baby was conceived on New Years Eve / New Years Day! We have done it the wrong way round, with not being married first, but we would like to buy a bigger house instead of spending out on a wedding at the moment! We will get married one day ... well I hope so!

I am starting to get really excited now and can't wait for the end of September! My sister is also pregnant and due on 18th July 2008, so our babies will be really close in age! I just know the rest of my pregnancy is going to drag after my sister has her baby, but I think it will be worth the wait!

I look forward to chatting with you all and sharing experiences!

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

Hi just read your birth story don't feel bad about the pain relief. I felt the same & kept apologising to Dave for not managing to go natural. But same as you Heidi wouldn't desend & i was only 9 cm dilated & water birth slowed my contractions. I had an epidural in the end but after more than 20 plus hours I would have taken anything, just didn;t want the c section. Well done to you both x

I thought everyone got a 40week appt? i was supposed to go see my consultant today, but that temp midwife i had last week didnt make me an appt so im waiting on a phone call for my exact induction date as the consultant doesnt let you go over 10days that ive got.
i no every pain i get im over the moon lol i usually hate pain!! x

its awful isnt it! i think my baby has moved onto a nerve my back is in total agony on one side so hard to walk! i havea check up with midwife today so i think i will be getting my sweep soon hopefully just want baby here! x
