mummysteph - Tuesday, 6 May
Thanks for the advice. Can you tell how and where to get then from. Is it just the stuff from hte supermarket or is it special baby stuff?

Jo-Mama - Saturday, 3 May
I have to pump all the time to keep from getting engorged. When it happens and the pumping doesn't seem to make it feel better, I have a hot shower and let the ladies soak! It's hard to find time for a shower though...

Sam doesn't fit into any of his carters newborn stuff anymore but the gymboree stuff is just now starting to fit. I am so sad. He's my last and I'll never have those tiny newborn clothes again. My cousin is due to have a baby in a few weeks and I'm giving them everything but the special outfits. I am happy that someone will get some more use out of them. It seems crazy that I spent so much on clothes for him to wear some of it maybe one or two times. Are you going to have any more children? I won't be having more of my own but am not opposed to adopting from foster care once Sam is in school. I am heart broken at the thought of not having little ones in the house. Although a few days without them would be nice ;-)

thank you for the advice I will try it... your baby is adorable, I just read your birthstory, good job on holding out on the epidural... I tried... I lasted for most of it without, then at the last minute I had to have it, but it didn't even start to work before I had the urge to push and he was born... next time I will try it again going without it...

hay there, i havent had sex yet, tomorrow will be 6 weeks for me since i had her, but i have heard at first it can be painful or tight cause they do or can stitch u up tighter!!!! i hope that doesnt happen to me cause i had 4 3rd degree tears and my husband is quite LARGE (sorry for the TMI) but i have worried about this for as long as i met him!!!!!!!!!! i got ALOT of stitches too and i kept saying DONT SEW ME UP TOO TIGHT, cause i knew in the back of my head if they did he would never fit again!! they say after a few times it goes back to normal!!! good luck!! i will prob soon find out!!l.o.l

Oh, yeah. This baby (b 3-3-08) and after the last...it always hurt the first time we had sex. And, it takes a while to tighten back up down there. Kegels can help. The midwife told me it takes an average of 6 moths to get back to approx the same pelvic muscle tone. Of course, if the pain is absolutely instense, you should see the dr again. But uncomfortable is about right. As crazy as it sounds, the more often you do it, the easier it gets. Good luck...you don't want to damage your marriage by avoiding sex altogether forever! Haha.

Thats funny. Thank you for the compliment. They are the best thing in the world, all 8 of them. Lots of work but well worth it:) Have fun!!

I know how you feel. I went through that with my last baby. I would go to sleep staring at her crying and hearing the clock tick in my head, like a bad countdown to when I had to go back to work. Honestly it wasnt so horrible though........you do what you have to. I ended up quitting when she was 2yrs as I couldnt take it anymore but shes fine. Good luck.

mommylaurie - Wednesday, 16 April
mine is going to daddy day care- staying home with dad and I still cry! This is the hardest thing I have ever done. Leaving her in the morning is torture.

momoffive - Tuesday, 15 April
Don't feel bad about the sun burn. I took my older son to the beach when he was only a couple of weeks old. It was an overcast day and I didn't really think much of covering him because of the clouds, well he ended up with blisters under his little eyes! Not only did I feel like the worst mom ever but had to call my pediatrican and ask what to do for it. I wanted to cry every time I looked at his little face....Then with this baby, we went to the park the other day and I made sure to keep him under the blanket but did take it off for a bit to get some pictures of him....He got a little burned, nothing like his big brother but it still looked painful. He's peeling really bad now. It's very easy to do and I'm sure we aren't the only moms who have done it.

jessica20 - Thursday, 10 April
