More....

Im 26 years old and this will be my first baby (was pregnant once before but sadly ended at 8 weeks, missed M/C)

Me and my partner are together almost 2 yrs and living together about 6 months and we're so happy to be having our little baby in Feb. Of course, Im like all first timers, panicking over every little thing.. 11 and a half weeks and counting... still getting nausea and have had sore boobs since week 4 onwards... other than that Ive been pretty ok. Some tiredness but all seems to be easing off a little now :)

Working every day is tough and my partner works nights half of the week so I miss him lots..

So looking forward to all of the wonders pregnancy has to bring, and holding our little bundle of joy in our arms at the end of it all ...

Feeling kinda good today..except for an episode in our local supermarket, I was in the meat dept and all of a sudden the smell and sight of all the raw meat had me running for the puke bucket! Then I almost started crying! Strange! Definitely a bit of a bump starting to pop out. Boobs still sore and nausea is still lingering,but definitely feeling better in myself. Not so tired and Im having urges to spring clean and decorate the house. Smells are driving me nuts. I can smell everything! People smell the worst, from cigarette smoke (I can smell a smoker from 100 yards away), to cheap perfume to just plain dirty smelling people. Its weird, I would prob never ever notice if i wasnt pregnant! Mood swings too, they come and go! All in all Im feeling well and of course that is worrying me a bit as my symptoms are deffo not as strong...finges crossed and BIG prayers that my little one is doing ok...

Feeling little popping feelings and bubbles down low in the evenings..hardly movements this early on..?!? But its a nice preview on what I have to look forward to in the coming months...

I thought this day would never come (and dreaded it at the same time!) I had my 14 wk ultrasound yesterday... I was so so so so scared when I woke up yesterday morning..I met my partner and was awash with a huge range of emotions. From fear to anger to great sadness.. All of the memories came flooding back from the time I lost my first little one. It was my 12 week scan, I had no idea...and of course I was so terrified that the same thing was going to happen all over again. I snapped at my partner , I cried, I ignored him and I sobbed...all on the way to the hospital (which is 5 mins from our house!!). Bless him he is wonderful to me. He just said he understood what I was going through and gave me a big hug and kiss..

So we got there and after waiting a bit, we got to see the doctor.. I lay down on the bed,, heart thumping ready to jump out of my throat..and on went the gel and he flicked on the machine. All I wanted to see was my baby's heartbeat...and there it was guys...THERE IT WAS!! My little bean has grown!! We got a wave and everything, baby is perfect size for my dates and Im definitely due on Feb 6th!! I cannot describe the relief and joy that washed over me, I even cried whilst lying on that table with cold gel all over my belly!
