My name is Jessica. I'm a stay at home mommy to two beautiful girls, Katelynn, my stepdaughter and Karianna, my biological daughter and I just gave birth to our first son, Donald James, JR. My hubby and I have been together since May 23, 2006 and have been through a lot but we've made it out okay and we are still going strong. We got married on Sept. 10, 2009, which would have been my parents 25th anniversary, had my mother not passed away in 1994.
I was born in Grand Junction, Colorado and was raised in a little po-dunk town called Hayden. I grew up with my older brother Tom and my dad Pat...had a stepmom and a stepsister for a while too, but that all fell apart after my brother passed away unexpectedly in 2004 (yeah, I don't like the years ending in 4....gonna make 2014 a better year!!!!! I'm determined!)
I first met my husband when I was 13 years old. His stepsister was one of my best friends in middle school. But our paths only crossed at that point. It wasn' t until I graduated high that they innertwinned. Our meeting is a funny story actually; he came home from work to find me sitting on his couch and I never left. We've had our share of hard times but it has brought us closer together.
I've not had a problem getting pregnant, but there has been some problems in the past once I got pregnant. I've suffered 4 miscarriages, but I do believe everything happens for a reason. I wasn't exactly a good girl throughout my teen years and though I love all of my babies, even those who aren't with me, in a way I am thankful that I didn't become a mother so young (due at ages 13, 15, and 18.) This last miscarriage was due to an incomplete pregnancy; there was a placenta and a fetal sac but no fetus.
My husband and I want at least one more baby; I want to wait a few years, he would like one ASAP! LOL! He keeps saying, I've never had two babies at once. However, I think he may get his wish because I've been exhibiting the signs and symptoms of pregnancy for a few weeks now.
Well, I just figured I would share a bit of my life and what's made me, me.
