If you get pregnant again while breast feeding, sometimes your milk production will temporarily slow down, but will get back up to full speed shortly after if you keep nursing as you normally would. If you experience severe morning sickness though, you may find yourself with the problem of not being able to continue nursing, due either to low production or just not feeling well enough to continue, but this is not usually the case. Hope this helps.

Have you tried using nipple cream on her bum??
My baby had a really bad one and my SIL sweared by her cream Kamilosan! Obviously check first to make sure it can be used on rashes but her bum has cleared up so much in the past week its nearly all gone!!

My oldest daughter and the new baby both have very sensitive skin. This is what I have to do and ever since her butt looks GREAT!!!
I rinse out her wipe and a wash cloth in warm water for every diaper change. I also use corn starch baby powder and butt paste each change. She gets a bath every other day. Good luck...I know it is awful when they have a rash.

hbp and urine is a sure sign but i hear unless its high levels of protein its not muct to worry about but usually the doctors are on top of that so mabye its not high levels of protein in ur urine but i have an appt wed and their going to check me i a littlt nerovous but excited how bout u have u been checked yet well not much longer well we hope not right we dont need any overdue babies lol

They are monitoring it, I have to turn one in every Tuesday this week will be my 4th and the 1st 2 were high but not preeclampsia, my 1st week I had 250 mg of protein, week 2 had 231 mg of protein, last Tuesday was 481 mg, and preeclampsia begins at 300 mg. I will be turning in my last one this week, as far as I understand they are inducing next Monday or before.

I was just reading your post about the nurse not really caring or really answering you. When I was pregnant with my first I had horrible back pain. When I called to see if I could be in labor they would say probably at the beginning stages...take a couple of tylenol and take a warm bath. That was it!!! I was in extreme pain so I made my hubby take me to the hospital and I was having contractions but not regular so they sent me back home with the same instructions. Later that week we found out that my son was breech and I had been in labor the whole time he just couldn't get turned to make my labor progress. Needless to say I had an emergency c-section and with my second son they didn't let me go into labor. This time they are keeping a close eye on me as well...so hopefully I don't ever have to go through that again!!! And some advice...next time make her give you more info!!! She gets paid well and even if you are not in the hospital you are still a patient.
