Sounds like it could be your waters if your pants are that wet. The mucus plug is usually a bit globby.

i just recently went to the hospital thought my water was leaking and he was able to tell not but he did tell me and asked if you were not wearing underwear would it run down your leg and put a pad on next time and if it get wet really wet with in an hour to come back in
hope this helps but you could always just go in to easy your own mind and to know for sure were all mom but not a doc ,,,,good luck '

Hi, I noticed that a cold bath stops the pain but i don't think much can be done until the baby is born and that pressure is not there. Thanks for your post and good luck to you.

Just read your comment about numb hands...My hands have been tingly and numb for the past couple of months. They ache so bad and they keep me up at night. It's impossible to put my contacts in in the morning! It's the one "symptom" of being pregnant that is almost unbearable. So, I feel your pain!!! It will be over soon!!

Well, I'm TERRIFIED of needles, so a spinal block isn't really an option. I'd probably pass out when the doc first walks in the room, when they drape me, again when they stick me, again when they tape it, etc. You get the picture! :0) Helps to have such a motivation (fear!). We've also been training for 2 months now in meditation... same kind the people use to have surgery w/o anesthesia. I guess if they can have an appendix removed wo meds, I should be able to do the same thing to give birth!

It's gross but it must mean we're sleeping well. I think it's hilarious the things we go through for these precious little ones. But, they're worth it. :) Congrats!
