Thanks for the advice but I think they are cramps the only reason I know is because at 25 weeks I went to the hospital for contractions . Im pretty sure this is different. I dont feel like my belly is tighting just like mild period cramps. Do you have these too ?

I had a dr. appointment yesterday and measured 37 weeks, so only 4 weeks ahead, which I thought wasn't that bad.

The extra weight is utterly confusing to me, though. I'm 45 pounds past my pre-pregnancy weight of 120 and I'm still gaining, but I have no clue where this weight is going! I'm still wearing all my pre-pregnancy pants and only have 6 maternity tops. How does that work???

thanks for the words of encouragement. im very excited as well and cant believe that we will see them so soon. had a scan yesterday (37 weeks) and both babies are now heads down. brilliant! the consultant checked my cervix and i was 2-3 cm dillated, effaced and he did a stretch and sweep. i had mild contraction all evening and really thought that was it, but they stopped at about 11. so if nothing happens today im due to be induced tomorrow. will keep you posted. and you keep growing your babies - their weights are fabulous already.

Hello.. thanks :-) I think they are beautiful also but I am a little biased! lol They are both doing amazing and yes I am nursing and it is going very good. It was torture for the first week and I wanted to give up but I am so glad I didn't now. When we left the hospital they weighed 5-1 and 5-8 and they are 4 weeks today and they just got weighed and they are now 7-12 and 8-3. When are you due? Do you know what you are having?

i will find out later today if they will induce on wed 14th. if they will then i go in at 7.30 to have the gel thingy inserted (sounds lovely!) if contractions dont start i have another one in the afternoon. then i think they will try to break waters or give an oxytocin drip. very good luck for your c-section. i think its good to know. i still may need a c-section as second baby is breech but i have a very good doctor so hopng she will turn or be ok to be delivered breech. how are you coping with these last few weeks? im feeling pretty good considering. making sure i eat and drink and sleep so i am as prepared as i can be.

hi thanks for ur coment its true even my grandma had 8,its just im so happy to be having twins and iv just got married in sep and now docs have said this im so scared of labour,every time i go they mention it ,plus a young woman who was on the news last year died with in a few hours of having twins fom heamoage that dint help me much seing that on tv,im so parranoid but im goin to think positive.

oh, things are going great so far. the last couple of days I've been feeling a lot bigger... I think I had a tummy growth spurt recently, so it's kind of awkward, but I only have 5 weeks to go, so it's not too bad.

the one thing I'm really grateful for: not having to make it to forty weeks. ugh. can you imagine?
