Hi! Just found out we're expecting our first child. A bit of a surprise but we are thrilled. A little unsure of what to expect but so far all is going smoothly. Family and friends are great, but it's nice to have the opinion of others who are going through the same thing. Wishing you all healthy, happy babies!

6.1 hours ago Hi,
I got my change table from Craigslist - I know you have been looking but the white ones go the fastest, so you have to be on top of it the moment it gets posted. I got a super deal $60 and it looks brand new. ready -
7.1 hours ago I didn't even have a changing table with my 1st child. He had a blanket that he played on all the time. It pretty much stayed on the floor. I would just sit down with him and change his diper on the floor. We always keep dipers and wipes next to the chair. We also didn't have pets. I'm not sure if you do or not. You may not want to do what we did but, its always an option. christina1984 -

Friday, 16 May How are you feeling these days? I am feeling SUPER pregnant! Just in the last 2 weeks I went from having to convince people that I was preggers, to now you can tell. My belly seemed to double overnight. My back hurts and my feet are swollen by 9am everyday! But somehow it is all made okay when I feel her moving around in there :) Happy Friday :) Amanda26 -
Tuesday, 13 May No prob. Best of luck with everything =) joannemichelle -
Tuesday, 13 May High vs. low is an old wives tale! I am 25 weeks and my uterus is just barely above my belly button and Im having a girl. Mizzy -
Monday, 12 May carrying high or low is mostly an old wives tale I think.all woman are different, and when the baby drops near the end then you realize what low is.i was told by many that i was carrying high with my boys and according to some thats supposed to mean its a girl.wish it was a good indicator of gender prediction! cause seriously i havent had any luck at the ultrasounds with all four pregnancies and here in canada you only get one ultrasound unless you pay a nice price for more! or if anythings wrong god forbid... Monday, 12 May I've heard the same as the other ladies on here. I was told last week that it looks like I carry low. I'm having a boy. Now a co-worker had a boy and she carried high. Like her boobs rested on her stomach...LOL bugtwist -
Monday, 12 May Agreed, low its a boy and high its a girl. I am carrying high and I am expecting a little girl :D mommy31 -

Thursday, 8 May To comment on your post. I wax and have for quite some time. It's totally an easier thing than shaving. It lasts longer too. jwhitley -
Thursday, 8 May I don't remember who posted it a couple of weeks ago, but the subject of "grooming" came up. She said that she went from looking like a 70's porn start to looking like a dog with mange! Thought that was too funny not to share! Never waxed- can't comment on that- just one of the joys of pregnancy! sarabug06 -
Tuesday, 6 May As for the dog, mine was a hardheaded bully and was rough with kids and other dogs so I went to obedience class with him and for $90 and 8 Saturdays I have a dog that we can now control a lot better. It also gives you the opportunity to have a dog professional watch his behavior and help you determine if he is unsafe. I was ready to get rid of our dog but the trainer insisted that he could be conquered if we were firm with him and now he is much more predictable and well behaved and I will trust him with a baby in the house although probably not alone. kasey9533 -

Wednesday, 30 April I could go on strike, but I can't stand to live in a mess and we are tyring to save to buy a house, so dinners/lunches out are kind out of the picture now. It's not even that I mind doing that stuff (because he would do it all wrong) I am simply asking for a foot or back rub once a week (A GOOD ONE!) and all I get are eye rolls and heavy sighs when I ask! WHAT A POOP!!! I am normally not an emotional person, but it makes me want to cry when he doesn't understand how bad I hurt after a long day. Maybe he will get it more when I actually start showing?!? I do know if I could have predicted his reactions to pregnancy I would have not said yes to marrying him! **Amy** -
Thursday, 17 April Thanks for the comment on movement. I am pretty much the same as you. I just get concerned when I read other ladies comments that their babies are moving all the time. What can I say, I am a major stresser! Puddle -
Wednesday, 16 April Hi
Just read your comment about Hubbies. Mine is totally the same as yours. His attitude is that the house doesnt need to be safe etc until the baby is toddling about - my comment what about me? The best way I have dealing with him is to go on strike but be subtle about it. Dont wash his underpants T-shirts etc. I usually leave it until he has only 1 pair left. Next stage is to not iron his clothes and so on. He needs to realise that you are not waiting on him and doing all the work. You have the perfect excuse at the moment because you can use the excuse that your tired all the time, your back hurts etc.... If all else fails, try the tears!!!
Good luck!!! gremlinblue -
Wednesday, 16 April i read your question in the 21 week forum about how get our hubbies to do more around the house. my husband needs a little reminding now and then, too. he's used to being the "Big Kid". i had a talk with him and we made up a game plan. he's been very god about it - and is even doing all the kitty clean up. if sitting down and talking with him isn't enough, maybe your doctor can nudge him a bit and let him know it's best for the baby if you are not lugging things around the house as much durning your pregnancy! ^_^ pinkdirtrider -
Tuesday, 15 April NOT AT ALL!!! My back was killing me the other night and I had to bargin and beg for a 5 min. back rub! He wanted to go to sleep after an exhausting 5 hours of laying on the couch after work! More venting...I sat next to him at the bar on Saturday evening for FIVE "one more's" so I could drive his drunk ass home! I swear he was a lot sweeter before we were pregnant! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!! Leave a message for BeansMom in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
