13th JULY 07

Hi were in our 19th week now half way here for us as we are having a scheduled C-section at 38 weeks.
We are having a little boy and both my husband and daughter are over the moon about it. Were 90% sure his name will be Joshua Iain.

27th JULY 07

21 weeks pregnant today and my breasts started to leak yesturday, today my hubby finally felt our little man kicking, and our doctor told us his delivery date is Mon 26th November at 1 pm (West Australian time), so excited only 4 months to go. Now I just have to get the little one to kick when his sister is awake.

11th AUGUST 07

23 weeks pregnant and our little man is kicking up a storm, daddy has felt him kick lots and today his sister finally felt him kick. Have been having braxton hicks for the past week as well as major heartburn and constipation. The good and bad of pregnancy. lol. We finally have agreed his name is Josh 100% sure now.

30th AUGUST 07

25 weeks pregnant almost 26 weeks and this week has been a strange one, thought I was having a good week but unfortunatly my blood preassure is sky high. I now have to watch out for other signs of pre eclampsia, bub is laying accross instead of up and down, due to my fibroids and the placenta being at the front. So if my waters break early I have to be rushed up to maternity. Oh well at least I only have 12 weeks to go till we meet him.

6th OCTOBER 07

31 weeks pregnant. Oh well lost all of Septembers info, never mind these things happen lol. Now to try to remember what it was all about. I failed my glucose test and have to give my self insulin 4 times a day and test my blood sugar 6 times a day, yuck jabbing my self with a needle 10 times a day OUCH. Little man is 2 weeks ahead in growth and weighs more than he should. Little piggy. I'm measuring 41 weeks so I look ready to drop any day now but I'm not. Have to go to maternity 2 times a week for CTG monitoring. So can't wait for these last 7 weeks to go by. My mother in law had a stroke last Tuesday so I feel like I'm already living at the hospital. So stressed. Hubby is only just coping with it all my poor baby trying to stay strong for him. Well that will do for now.

31st OCTOBER 07

34 weeks pregnant. Not to much to report still plodding along, seeing my doctor weekly and having CTG scans twice a week, seeing the dietician and the diabetees co-ordinator. So over it all now lol. Another ultrasound on Friday to check on my little pigglets progress. He weighed over 5lbs 2 weeks ago so who knows what he will weigh now lol. Saw my anethatist today and all is fine to go ahead with my c-section in 26 days time I so can not wait.My belly is so big now I actually measure 42 weeks pregnant lol. Mum is still in hospital 400 km away so planning on going to visit for a week when we go on maternity leave which is at the end of next week. So looking forward to maternity leave its hard being so big and having to look after 6 kids that don't belong to you, especially the sleep over ones. Oh well thats all for now.

2nd NOVEMBER 07

A quick update after our ultrasound, Little mans weight is now a little over 6 pounds and his head is a little bigger than average but his belly and leg measurements have slowed down and are in line with the average. I guess having to jab myself with needles all the time is worth it after all.
