About Me and Baby Ben

I'm Becca and I'm 22 years old. I'm currently training to be a Children's Nurse and the baby arrived just as I should have started my 3rd and final year! I have been with my boyfriend since I was 15, we have been together for 6 years. We had always planned on getting married and starting a family once we had saved our pennies and managed to move out, so the baby bit has come a tad earlier than expected! Although we were very shocked when we found out about the baby (who we had named Fig since week 6!), we both looked forward to meeting our new arrival. We decided not to find out the sex during my pregnancy and I am so glad that we left the surprise until the birth.

I brought our son Benjamin William into the world on the 1st March 2009 at 3.55pm, exactly 1 week earlier than expected!

He weighed in at 7lb 8oz and measured 21 inches.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Even though I'm training in Paediatrics, I seem to have lost all common sense when it comes to babies!!!

hey ladies, sorry i havnt been on much recently. firstly congrats to all the new mummys!!

been in the states and my little girl was sooo good, slept thru both flights (8 hour!) in her little sky cot! shes so good and loved florida :) she came home with TWO SUITCASES of new clothes and things lol, shes a little shoppaholic!! ill add photos soon xxxxx

I can't believe how fast time has flew by!! Ben is getting so big, and he's crawling now awww thats so awesome! I can't wait for Leiland to start crawling as well. My husband and I have discussed names, if it's a girl then were gonna name her Maria Ashlynn and if it's a boy we like Ian, Issac, and Matthew. Were not settled on a boys name yet. I'll put my ultrasound pics on here and facebook when I get them :) Are you going to put your family picture on here or facebook? I want to get another family picture done but I figured that we would wait until the baby gets here so we can all be in it :)

hey up bbe no scans not booked yet my midwife is useless never switches her fne on so i gna change i got a home visit booked for sunday thts wen they gna arrange a scan for me which shud b the following week. i was ten weeks on satday. think im going to have a boy this time i dont mind either way. move into new house on 1st dec. r u n ur bf livin together now.?? hows evrythin goin wit u. my girl has gt her bottom two teeth but only came thru a few weeks ago lol she not crawling yet she just gona b a shuffler ever so strong on her legs tho really tall weighs just under 20lb. and in 9-12 month clothing lol. hope ya lil man is progressing well. xxxx

Hey Becca!! How have you and Ben been? I'm doing great, I cant believe that I'm 16 weeks along already either!! My husband and I will find out what were having on the 24th :) I cant wait, I'm crossing my fingers for a little girl! Ben is getting sooo big!! 8 months old already, time flys!
