...My husband and I have known eachother since we were children. After 2 decades, in Jan of 2005 we became reacquainted. He still admired about me after so long and eventually I started to feel the same. We married in April of 06'.

We began trying TTC after our honeymoon in Jamaica. We miscarried with our first. in May of 2007. We continued to ttc, thereafter but to no avail until this March, we were happy to find out we have been blessed yet again....

This little one is changing gears and he keeps on Driving!!!

I think finding a midwife is the hardest thing my cousin had to deal with.. not every city has a midwife that do homebirths.... i thought of it but got over it really quick.. i have cord issues in my family so im have a c/s to make sure the baby is safe... let me know what you find out and if you have questions i can put you in touch w/my cousin... like i said 3 were born at home and she did great.. she is great at birth and looked amazing after..

Hi, there:

Happy Friday.

Thanks for continually praying for me! It's nice to know that I am in the thoughts of so many people.

He is to be here in less than 4 weeks. July 11th for good.

Our next hurdle is immigration, but we are hopeful this will be a smooth process.

I am now like a kid in the candy store, just not knowing what to do before I see my foreign love.

So, so out of touch these days, I am.

Anyway, moving along is good spirits.

You mentioned that you were pushed into a lot of things with your first baby. Funny that you mention that. Would you please go into details? Last night I was talking to my fiance', and I told him I don't want to be induced inless it was an extreme emergency. Then if it's that bad let's just have a c-section. Other than that, I think I'm ok with epidural.

Oh my goodness, NO HELP AT ALL!!! WOW you are brave (and i thought i was LOL)
I respect you for that, but think really long and hard about it, i know childbirth is the most natural thing in the world, but i dont think i'd like to do it without a midwife there, simply for the 'just incase' reason. I mean god forbid but if there are any hiccups then they are there to do the necessaries that they are trianed for,
I know its all down to personal choice at the end of the day but i should hate to think that you got into problems on your own, hey go for the home birth no worries, im all for that, but on your own, ooh i'd be cautious my friend.

Anyway, i wish you LOADS of luck in whatever you decide to do, have a quick safe delivery hey.

Well, I think I have heard it all: "One frank and two beans!"

I just laughed aloud.

Once, I did hear a woman say a bobbie pin and two bbs!

Anyway, I am so happy for you. I, too, can't wait for that special day of hearing that I am carrying a son.

The doctor's office called today saying that my levels are still too high from the miscarriage and to come in next week for more testing, but that we can start trying again at the end of August.

I am excited.
