8/13/2008 - So I had my appt. on Monday... the Dr. said everything was lookin' good!! Our boy now weighs 4 lbs. which was my guess. Mom knows already! lol. I was very happy that I had the ultrasound because on Saturday he totally rearranged his living area and was hardly moving all day... I was freaking out!! Scaring the crap out of mommy already.. ahhhh... only the rest of my life to keep worrying!! But he is fine.. moved my fibroid totally to the other side of my belly... how?? I dont know but he is fine.. moving around again like crazy!! Yeah!! :) My hubby is finally done w/ the babys room w/ help from Grandpa. Just putting together the furniture this week.. I cant wait to see everything all together!!
7/22/2008 - Hello all!! Well Im in the 3rd trimester!! I cant believe it.. not much longer and my little kickboxer will be in my arms!! Ive been feeling good.. Fibroid hasnt bothered me (knock on wood) My rib pain hasnt been to bad... just getting tired again.. and my back is awful!! He has been moving around like an animal.. lol... it is amazing.. i swear he is doing somersaults in there!! My next appt. is on 8/11.
6/11/2008 - I havent written in a loooonnggg time.. as you can see... everything is good. Fibroid is not such a horror thanks to antinflammatory medication. The baby is amazing.. moving around like crazy... starting to keep me up at night already.. but im not minding at all. I just love laying there feeling his every movement... I would stay up all night! At the last dr. visit on June 2 he was well over a pound. I think he is gonna be a biggie! My next appt is on June 30... and I also have an appt at View a Miracle that same day. I cant wait to see what he actually looks like!! I am so psyched!!!
5/16/2008 - Well the last few days have been good days.. thankfully!! My side is feeling much better... still hurts but MUCH BETTER then it was... my nausea is still bad... dont really have an appetite but im eating! The great news is I can feel him moving around... alot! I am gonna be in big trouble when he gets bigger.. he is gonna beat the hell outta my insides ... i just know it..lol.
5/9/2008 - I had to call my doctor yesterday and schedule an appt for today because Ive been having bad pains on the left side of stomach... which I assumed was my fibroid.. I assumed correctly. The baby is getting bigger and pushing on it. .. and it is KILLING ME!! BUT I was totally worried about the baby but the baby is fine... and it looks like A BOY!! The nurse got a picture of the "twig and berries". My husband and mom are so excited!! I saw him on the Ultrasound today and he was moving around like CRAZY... shaking his head, moving his legs and his arms!! It was so funny!! He is SO GONNA BE A MAJOR HANDFUL!! you better get ready grandparents!! lol. Our baby boy...

5/1/2008 - We couldnt find out the sex.. apparently they dont do ultrasounds ...on Thursdays... in May... during a full moon. Ok I made that last part up but seriously? ... anyway we did hear the heartbeat.. music to my ears.. next appt. is on 5/21.. our 20wk. so by then we should know!
YEAH .. cant wait!!
4/29/2008 - I had to reschedule my last OB appt. from last week so I will be going this Thurs. @ 10:30. I hope we can finally find out what we are having.. i hate the waiting!! It would be absolutely brutal if we had to wait another month!! ugh! Ive been feeling ... pregnant...lol.. my back has just been killing me this past week.. the heartburn for the last 3 days has been almost unbearable! ... but of coarse.. i love it!! I'll let everyone know about Thurs.
4/22/2008 - well i was sitting watching tv yesterday.. and felt a little wave go through my belly... i never felt anything like that before so I can only assume it was the baby!! yeah!! The first movement!! I havent felt anything after that.. so I guess the little bugger just wanted to say "IM HERE!!" lol.. mommy is very appreciative!! I have an appt. on thurs. I will keep everyone updated on how it went and hopefully we can find out if it is a boy or girl!! cant wait!!
3/26/2008 - had my dr. appt. on monday... the dr. couldnt find the heartbeat... so we had an ultrasound to make sure the baby was ok... so we got a bonus viewing!! The nurse said the heartbeat was 159. Perfect. I was very excited to see him/her not looking like a hairball and more like an actual baby w/ arms and legs.. lol. The baby was doing acrobats on its head! Im definitely gonna have my hands full with this one!! My all day sickness is the same.. hasnt eased up at all.. unfortunately.. small price to pay for seeing this pic!

3/11/2008 - Not much going on nowadays.. taking my medicine when I feel sick... I alternate.. one pill a day and then two pills a day... whatever ... its working.. i guess. Only 2 more weeks til my appt. it is taking forever...I CANT WAIT!!!
3/5/2008 - Well I tried to go without the medicine today to see what would happen... I made it to noon and then threw up my breakfast... so im stuck on the medicine. I took it right after and now im fine... had lunch .. kept it down.
3/4/2008 - So I had a horrible week last week.. thank goodness it is over!! I started off on Tuesday w/ Jury Duty and ended up on a trial... and that night my sickness really started to kick in... by Thursday I could not keep anything down.. which landed me in the Emergency room .. dehydrated.. they juiced me up and sent me home w/ a perscription for Zofran.. which is like a miracle pill!! Havent' been "throwing up" since I was in the ER. Still feel nausous of coarse but nothing near what I was feeling. I am looking forward to my next appt. on 3/24 so we can hear the babies heartbeat!!! Oh.. and the trial was settled on Monday... what a relief that was!!
2/27/08 - this is a horrible week for me.. the vomiting has kicked in full full force! ... and it does NOT HELP that I had jury duty on monday and WOULD NOT be dismissed.. so now im on a trial! It is the worst thing ever.. to be sitting in a court room feeling you have to yak after the plaintiffs attorneys opening statement!! I have to be there through Tuesday.. wish me luck!!
2/23/2008 - Ive been nausous all day.. what else is new... I got sick last night.. but only once.. so that is a plus. Im looking forward to leaving work.. and hopefully feeling up to spending some time w/ my family in PA tonight.
2/22/08 - so no sickness last night... which is good. i think it had alot to do w/ what I was eating... fried!! NOT GOOD!! So ive been a little nausous today but not so bad. yesterday was our first dr appt. we saw the heartbeat.. it was 138!! Due date is OCTOBER 6. It was amazing!! I cant wait to hear it!! I go back on Monday for more probing...lol. Cant wait!!
2/20/08 - well the sickness has begun... I have night sickness... I throw up soon after dinner. Oh joy! ...last night was the worst so far. I hope that is as bad as it is going to get!
2/13/2008 - Not much change... I have been waiting for "the vomiting" ... but nothing. I have felt nauseous all day. I am feeling so exhausted.. I just dont want to get out of bed in the morning.
2/9/2008 - So.. Im almost 6 weeks and the symptoms are really starting to kick in. My boobs are so sore.. I woke up twice last night to pee... Im always hungry but still feeling slightly nauseous ... the vomiting hasnt kicked it yet .. I think that gem will be here next week.. I cant wait!! lol

Hey! You're nursery is so cute! I saw that set at Babies R Us just this morning and thought it was adorable. And I believe we have the exact same crib. It's held up very well and it looks so nice. Those last few weeks seemed to drag for me so hopefully they'll go nice and fast for you since you're all ready now.
We're doing very well here. Bekah's crawling all over and pulling herself up to cruise on the furniture now. I didn't expect her to do that this soon so it was very surprising. I'm all excited today because we have our big ultrasound tomorrow morning so we'll hopefully find out what we're having! YAY! I'll post a blog when I return from my visit. It will be fantastic to finally put a nameto the little wiggle worm inside me!

Hi! I'm so glad to hear from you! It's been ages, hasn't it? lol! Yes, you're at that point where the exhaustion returns, unfortunately. The second trimester totally rocks as compared to the first and third! I'm so happy to be entering it this week!
We're doing great! Bekah got her first tooth which is exciting and sad at the same time. I can't call her my little gummy grins anymore! hehe! Oh well. I guess I'll have to settle for toothy grins now!
I'm feeling full of energy now that I'm past the point of pure exhaustion. It will be interesting to see how things go at the end of my pregnancy when I'm chasing a crawler or maybe even a walker around my house! And with my huge belly! lol! Oh boy, yes, it will be interesting.
Have you planned your nursery yet? That's so fun to do! We're trying to decide if we should get a second crib or just use a pack n play for 6 months and then move Bekah into a toddler bed and the baby into her crib. Not quite sure if she'll be old enough for that type of transition. She'll only be about 18 months or so. I guess I should ask some of the other moms who have more than one kid what they did.

hi beth-ann, its been ages since i have been on here aswell, your baby is cute, we havnt found out the sex coz it wouldnt show us lol.you are lucky to know your babys sex. yes i am huge aswell, my stomach hurts all the time down near my pelvis, i take panadol all the time for the pain. not long to go now, cant wait til its out lol.

HI! How are you? I'm back from my trip and just wanted to check in. We had a great time seeing all our friends and family but let me tell you, it is very different traveling with a baby! Just a warning for your future! lol! So I see the litte guy is keeping you up at night. I loved that so much. It seemes like i would no sooner lay down and Bekah would be moving around in there. I can't wait for that to happen with the new baby! Although I will admit that Bekah's hiccups were a bit annoying toward the end. She always seemed to get them in the middle of the night and they were so bad that they'sd wake me up! hehe! Ah, the fun stuff to look forward to! Well, let me know how you're feeling. My appointment went great. I wrote a blog with a sono pic. You should check it out when you have the time. I only have a sec b/c I need to pack for our vacation. We leave early in the morning for 10 days! So you probably won't hear from me until I get back.

Ugh...in the hospital again! My goodness, that thing is annoying. Can it be removed once you give birth? Because you have enough pain and issues to deal with while pregnant. You really don't need anymore! And it would make it hard to want to have a second baby...knowing it's in there and with probably flame up again. Well, at least you have some meds for it. I'm glad they're working for you...and the nausea meds are still working, too. Thank goodness!
I bet he will be huge! 1 lb at 20 weeks! WOW! That really is big!
Isn't it wonderful to officially have a name for him? Sonny is really nice. When we were in Italy I heard the name once or twice. It's very simple but far from plain...ya know? I don't remember if I told you our names, so I'll just lay them out again...Noah Jacob or Abigail Kathryn. We wanted to land on them as soon as possible so that the moment we find out what we're having, the baby has a name of its own. It helped us to bond to Bekah so much, I think. While she was still in the womb. Does Sonny have a middle name?
Oh yeah, my bump is quite large. I noticed last night when I got into bed that I can't feel my pelvic bones anymore. It's like I'm 15 weeks preggo! I love it! I'm already into my maternity clothes and I also bought a few new things, which is fun.
Well I read today that a woman has less than a 2% chance of conceiving natural twins without the help of fertility drugs. So I'm assuming my belly has popped so much just because it's my second pregnancy. But you never know...my HCG levels were REALLY high in early pregnancy. I guess we'll know for sure tomorrow morning. Really, all I want to see in there is a healthy baby for sure!
We leave for NY on Saturday. It will be interesting flying with a baby. I'm nervous she's going to scream the whole way. She never has taken a paci very well. Ah, learning experiences. Aren't they fun?
Well, I'll drop you a quick note tomorrow after my appointment. Please pray for me. Pray that the baby is as strong as it's big sister was. We already love our little bean so much! I know you understand those unbelieveable emotions! Take care! xoxox Amanda
