Oh and I was going to say I am a little jealous when I read all of these other stories that say 'ohhh I got the epidural and then I was smiling and talking to everyone and sleeping, etc' But at least we know what a natural child birth feels like right?! But I did vowe to not go to the same hospital for our next one (hoping that some how it was the anesthesiologist's fault the epidural didn't work, not that my body just doesn't take them!!)

Congrats!!! I'm so glad I read your story...if you read mine you'll see that the epidural did not work for me either...the anesthesiologist actually had to come back and give me another one...which still didn't work. It hurt really bad, but you're right, you eventually forget about it all!!!

The people at Babies R Us were so nice and inviting! I had a good experience there also. Target, not so nice! They didn't try to help me, and they just weren't helpful. I really don't care for Target right now. I used to love them. I hope all goes well though! Thanks for your help.

I noticed that about 6 months ago. They have really annoying and strict policies. I think if you do have a receipt and it's over 90 days, they still won't take it back. We bought a car seat for our daughter over a year ago and it was $250 and it had problems and they wouldn't take it back. We had to deal with the manufacturer instead. I am careful about buying big things there now that's for sure.

That's exactly what was happening with me. I went to my midwife today and she checked me and informed me that I had the cervix of a woman that was about 5-6 months pregnant...THAT'S how thick I was and was not dilated at all. Plus my baby was very high. Well you can imagine my frustration, so I got out by myself and just went to various stores shopping and then to the mall and just walked for hours. A few hours later my baby has dropped and I'm losing my mucus plug in spurts plus have some loose stools (tmi sorry lol) and am now feeling HUGE pressure and contractions. So hopefully that has done it for me and I'm on the way to getting my baby out. If I havent went into labor by tomorrow, then I'm going to go up with my husband and kids and walk more. I suggest you try the same ^^ Perhaps it will help you as well :)

Hi! Thanks for your comment! Yes, I get upset about how everything went, then complain a little and then feel terrible for not being thankful.. But i think the main issue is that my mother in law threw me the shower and there was no games and no presents I needed. That's the fact. I also hoped to get a diaper cake at least (I heard about them but never actually saw one). And adding almost everything to my shopping cart from my own baby registry including DIAPERS (!), lotions, wipes, things that usually you get during the shower (there are such a great gift baskets out there) added to my 'sad' mood... but I am actually very happy that I will meet my baby girl soon! :) Week 36, 37 right around the corner. Can you believe it? ;)

you don't know me but I just wanted to send (((HUGS)))) your way! You sound like me everything hurts and I just want to not be pregnant any more.The pain I get from SPD is awful and I am looking forward to going back to normal,so I understand and good luck to you.

Thanks. I had a gut feeling that its a boy but now i am not so sure. I guess i will just have to wait till the 20th to find out for sure! congrats on your little girl!
