Hello All! My name is Deaundra and I am so happy to have found this site. My husband and I are trying to conceive. We have a rather unique situation because we are both Active Duty in the Army and he is stationed in California and I am stationed in Florida. So as you can see, trying to have a baby and being thousands of miles away is a struggle. We are both very patient and believe that everything will happen in God's time. I must admit that being in a long distance marriage is hard on the both of us but we are still very gratefule to have one another.

All of you pregnant mommies I wish you the best and all of you that are trying to conceive I wish you the best as well. I look forward to chating with all of you.

I am a little frustrated today. My hubby came to visit me for three days and each time it seems like it's too short. We get in our grrove and then BAM it's time to take him to the airport. He visits me twice a month and I cannot wait until we are in the same household and the Army stations us together, hopefully soon. I seriously doubt that I am gonna get preggors because we barely had time to TTC. Maybe next month...

MAY 16, 2008 UPDATE

Hello ladies! I just wanted to give everyone an update. I have been feeling extremely fatigued lately and I have the worse headache. I keep thinking it is gonna go away but it never does, and now I wake up this morning and I have some stomach cramping. I am trying my best not to overexaggerate my feelings and assume it is pregnancy symptoms. I have not missed my AF yet so I will just wait and see. My hubby wants me to go to the doc and see about my symptoms because they have been persistant for a couple days, so hopefully they will tell me something today. I will keep you all posted.

Well I went to the Doctor today and they gave me a pregnancy test and then came back with a BFN. I was so sure that I was but then again it's only been a week since I been off my cycle so I will just wait and see what happens....

MAY 26, 2008,

Well I took my hubby to the airport today and we had the most wonderful visit! I did not want him to go. We did the BD eeveryday so hopefully this will be my month. I even laid there afterwards and let it marinate, lol. I will keep you updated until I test. I have been having some cramping in my lower abdomen so again we shall see...

My AF came on the 2nd so I have just decided to wait until me and my hubby are living together in the same house. This long distance TTC is so stressful. It has been emotionally draining for me. So I am gonna wait for God's time.

I have been feeling very emotional lately. I am not sure why, it could be wedding jitters or perhaps TTC jitters:-). I am so ready to test this month so I can at least know. The more I see chidren, play with them, the more I can see myself as a loving mother and the urge to get pregnant grows more and more even if I try not to let it overtake me. I can't deny it I hope it happens soon and I get this babymaking show on the road!

I'm not quite sure if I felt it or not. I might have now thinking about it because I remember I had this deep pain (mine was more than normal lol, than again my last pregnancy had a lot of issues), that I knew was well after ovulation. So that might have been associated with the 'nesting'. I'm not sure how many people notice it, probably not that many lol.

Hey,

I was reading your question on trying to conceive about 'nesting'. If you're talking about 'nesting' in regards to what it said on the ovulation calendar it might mean the process of the fertilized egg implanting into the uterus. However, there is another 'nesting' which is towards the end of the pregnancy when a woman may vigorously clean, organize things, and get things ready for the baby's arrival. Hope that helped!! Hi, iwasnt toatlly sure what nesting you mean, but this the nesting i know???lol. nesting happens at the end of pregnancy...when you are preparing for baby. You get an erge to have everything ready & done. And you may feel like you want to clean & organise your whole house, or just babies things. Not every woman gets this, but most do. & its just one of the signs that your body is getting ready for the new arrival. I hope thats the nesting you were talking about. if not my bad. lol

I think I am going to try to wait to see if AF comes...I really don't want to see another BFN. If I decide to break down and test again then I might do it Friday morning...which would make me 2 days before AF/12 dpo.

Also, my director is the Queen of Herbalists, and she specializes in fertility. She has gotten so many women pregnant who never thought they could get pregnant. I could even put you in touch with her.

I have known women who have given up hope after many doctors and lots of money, but they never tried herbs. I would just hate for you to not give all options a consideration and never have a baby because you weren't given the choice of all your options. Even your doctor could talk to Kay if that makes you feel more confident.

I am so hyped on FEMALE COMFORT by Nature's Sunshine. I swear by it. I, too, all my menstrual life had irregular periods, not just cycles but the periods themselves, until I took Female Comfort, and I got my digestive and mental systems worked out. Both times I got pregnant, I had been taking Female Comfort. I was even told by a doctor that I was probably infertile. Again, I swear by Female Comfort and getting your system regulated, but if you are regular in other areas, I would just get the Female Comfort. It is to support reproductive health. I have had the nausea...and I think I may have had implantation yesterday. I noticed a light pink spot when I wiped yesterday. But when I see a BFN, then I start to second guess myself. I just can't wait to find out either way.

I know people have two different opinions when it comes to drinking. I personally give up caffeine and alcohol from the time ovulation takes place to when AF decides to come. I know if I had a couple of drinks and then found out I was pregnant I would become a worry wart.

In regards to your wedding night...my husband and I didn't even drink one full drink that night due to being sooo busy taking in and cherishing the whole event.

You are very welcome!! I think I am going to wait to test until AF is supposed to arrive. If I break down and test again then it will be Friday. I am leaving Friday afternoon for Vegas for a friend's bday...so at least it will keep my mind off of things. No liquor for me just in case.

With my middle son, I was due for AF on a Thursday. I tested on a Sunday & got a BFN. I tested again the day AF was due & got my BFP. I hope it is just too early too.....BABY DUST!!!!
