Just set up my website and I am so excited. I am pregnant with my first child and so far everything has gone pretty well. Morning sickness wasn't too bad. Though I started bleeding at 7 weeks and that freaked me out. I went to the doctor right away and everything was fine. I am entering my second trimester and I am getting a lot of my energy back. Now, I still sleep a good 12 hours a night, but no more naps.
Last doctor visit I heard the baby's heartbeat and it was almost surreal. Sometimes I still can't believe there is a baby growing inside me. During the second week of November we will find out the sex!! I can't wait.
I will post ultrasound photos soon. Waiting for my hubby to hook up the scanner.
Looking forward to meeting new mommies!

Had a doctors apt today and I got to hear my babies heartbeat for the second time. It is the greatest sound in the world. The doctor said I could schedule my BIG ultrasound for the 17th or 19th week. So, I wait two weeks or a month to find out the sex. I am so impatient. Though he said the longer we wait we can see more of the organs and how they are developing. I am going to try to hold off till the 19th week, but will see. I just can't wait to find out. I have also gained 15lbs!!!!! Yikes!

Scheduled my apt for the BIG ultrasound! Nov 26th is the BIG day! :) I decided to wait till I was 19 wks, so we could see everything.

Today was the BIG day! IT IS A BOY!!! The ultrasound was the coolest thing I have ever seen! I am the most impatient person and I so want him to be here now. I want to hold him and kiss him. I am so excited I can't go to bed. I just want to shop for him and call everyone I know. He is kicking up a storm tonight. When the tech was taking all his measurements he wouldn't stop moving. Though as soon as we switched over to the 4D, he hid his face and fell asleep. We got like 3 shots on the 4D, so I am a little bummed. Though I am gonna pay to have it done again when I am a bit further along. www.peekababy3d.com

I had a major shopping spree today! I had so much fun shopping for my little guy. I took some pics of my favorite outfits and posted them. I always had fun shopping for my nieces and nephews, but it is totally better when its your own. Even my husband was oohing and awing over some of the outfits. I just want him to be here. I am already getting started on the nursery. I picked out some paint colors and I am trying to find a painter who can paint vintage airplanes on one of the walls. It is so much fun!

Things are going great! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by! I just got another U/S on Friday. I was 28 weeks and 1 day. I can already tell he has daddy's lips. I am just so excited! I can't wait to see my hubby holding Presley. My husband has never changed a diaper or even been around babies before. I have six nieces and nephews, so I have been around babies and at least know how to change a diaper. HeHe.
We have gotten so much done in the nursery. Though I am not going to post any pics till we are finished. My baby shower is coming up and I can't wait!!

I so totally can't sleep! I starting to become very uncomfortable. Then by the time I get comfortable I have to get up to pee! I just want my lil man to be here. My hubby is so sweet. I woke up hungry, so he got up at 1am and got me Taco Bell. So, this weekend my hubby and I driving all the way to Ft. Worth to pick up a Valentines Day present for me. Colin bought me a new Siamese kitty. His name is going to be Blaze! I am obsessed with Siamese cats. One day I would actually like to breed them. I am a sucker for any animal. I can't even go into Pets Mart when they have their pet adoption day, because I want to rescue them all and I get all emotional. Seriously, it is that bad. Colin thinks I am a total freak! Anyways, I can't wait to have a little road trip with my hubby. We always have fun. We are taking my Tahoe, so I can stretch out in the back. I also have a DVD player in there, so I can watch movies. It will be just like I am at home....LOL. My hubby bought me this Tahoe two years ago, because we wanted babies. My whole family made fun of me, because I was driving this mom mobile around. Finally it will officially be a mom mobile!!! Okay, I am so rambling. Going to try to go back to bed. xoxoxo

I am home with my new kitty!! I named him Oliver. It is very fitting for him. This was an early Valentines Day present from my hubby. Oliver is so handsome, he comes from a long line of grand champions and is just breath taking. I have been so busy with him that I have been having major web site with drawls! Below is a picture of my new baby. I love him so much already.
So, today I went to get my hair done and I ended up cutting 5 inches off! It feels great. My hair grows so fast, that it isn't a big deal for me. That is about all the excitement in my life.

Haven't been on in a few days, because I had a little stay at the hospital. Everything is fine and baby Presley is doing great. Though I am not going to lie I was a bit scared. Sunday night I started having massive back pain and contractions. Then I started having major chills and vomiting. So, I waited a couple of hours just to see if it would pass. It was only getting worse, so I called my doctors answering service and they called me back ASAP. They told me to go straight to L&D. My hubby was not home, so I called my sister n law and she took me there and my hubby met us up there. Come to find out I had a pretty bad kidney infection. Which can cause contractions and all those other symptoms. So, they loaded me up with fluids and antibiotics. I am now home and feeling much better. Still really tired and just kind of feel like I have the flu. When we were leaving the hospital though we passed by the nursery to look at all the sweet babies! I can't wait!!! :)

Well, I finally uploaded photos of Presley's nursery. I am just waiting for his shutter to be made and installed. Then we can put the chair rail up. Other than that everything is complete. Everything is washed and ready for his arrival. I had a doctor apt this past Monday and everything went great. I had that Group B test done. Though I have gained 54 lbs!!! I am not worried though. I can lose it and most importantly Presley is healthy. This Thursday I have another apt and I will finally have a pelvic exam and find out if I am dilated, effaced, etc. Which I am dying to know. I have never been so excited to have a pelvic exam...LOL! This week we had a NEW outlet mall open up 5 minutes from my house and I am loving it. There are 5 kids stores and the prices are great. Besides it is good exercise for me. I went today and just walked for 30 minutes and just window shopped. The mall is outside in the open, so it's nice. Hubby and I are in bed and about to watch a movie. We had our usual Friday date night. We went to a cajun restaurant and had crawfish. YUMMY!!

Tom was completely thrilled. There were tears in both our eyes. So amazing! Hannah is starting to get very excited.. I think she was initially disappointed cause she still wants a sister, But she is forgetting about it.. lol.

Glad your getting out and about and are both busy, you sound to be adjusting to motherhood really well and Im soooo happy to hear.
Im doing ok, Just get weird days when I experience extreme tiredness then another day where I have too much energy!!! And my bump is growing at speed now, I am getting a new didgital camera on the 28th so I will get some pics up!
I have been potty training Alexandra this week and she has taken to it really well, she is out of nappies already and I only started doing it 4/5 days ago. She is even going without a nappy at night. Im just soooooo proud of her, and at the same time a little upset. My baby is growing up sooooo fast. I wish I could press pause and cherish every minute just a little bit longer!
Yep I have my 3 d scan on the 2nd june, really excited about that... cant wait.
I noticed Niki has not been online, I soooo hope this is it and she is in labour, Im going to go check hwer page out now and see if there has been any progress. Its so exciting all these babies being born. I only wish I lived near enough to visit and have a cuddle with the new arrivals!! It will be my turn next, not too much longer to go. Im getting excited now and am really looking forward to meeting my new baby.
Anyways what other news have you got for me? Hows the breastfeeding going? How are you feeling physically in yourself? I hope that you are starting to feel like your old self.

I feel very content. I went and toured the hospital this weekend. The rooms are gigantic....such a relief. We bought a brand new camcorder for the big event.....but when we got home we didn't like it. I so cried. It so wasn't that serious but I just want everything to be done so bad. We're just going to buy the one we wanted all along even though it's ridiculously expensive. It's a great investment anyways so who cares? =) Come on May 30th

Hi, there:
The first prenatal appointment went well. I have been poked, upon poked and prodded...refreshing...to say the least...pun intended.
Did the usual...blood work, paperwork, questions upon questions and then a serious talk with the midwife.
They don't waste anytime reminding you of your advanced maternal age, do they? It's like a curse or something to rear children older.
Anyway, I refused all tests except the routine ultra sounds despite the statistics she shared with me and how the other genetic testing services are supposed to inform me of what's what. I will keep and love my child no matter what.
Also, my size is fine for the date. She said I am right on point, so....the child is not larger like I suspected. I have gained about 4 more pounds....give or take. I guess I will just be fat this go round, so, it's not " baby fat" just a "big momma"...smiles...
After I told her about the movements, she was going to do an ultrasound, but when the sizing was in line with the dates, she said it wasn't necessary...bummer...I wanted to see my little love!
Anyway, go back in about 5 weeks or so.
She used three different dopplers and could not find a heartbeat...which she said was perfectly normal for the age of the child.
So, she recommended me to a baby class which starts June 13th...so I guess I will start touring hospitals and planning the nursery.
All looked fine....

Enchildada's (and tacos) are my favorite mexican food! I would be interested in your recipe. I have a couple but nothing spectacular yet... I should search around on line. While in Texas, we went to this wonderful restaurant on the riverwalk and I had shrimp, cabbage tacos. They were flatout delish!!
I had no idea that Galveston was gross! Sorry! Our northern beaches are always so cold we can't really enjoy the water without wetsuits. People DO get in with little else, but I can't understand it! Did you hear about the poor man that was bit to death by a Great White a few ago down south? That is a little freaky... not the way I WANT to go, ya know what I mean?
We were in San Antonio b/c Ben graduated basic training at Lackland AFB. He is now in another state for more school. It was way too hot for me, but housing prices were sure more reasonable!!
I am feeling well, thank you for asking. I do use Zophran every now and again, but for the most part, I am well! And so grateful! I am in my last trimester now!! YEAH!
AND I will be a grandmother by the 29th or 30th!!! That is REALLY exciting!!! :)

Yeah I know I'm pretty lucky with the milk productive (for now lol baby boy seems to be wanting more and more). I wonder why you're only getting 4oz a day?! My nipples dont hurt at all...what kind of pump are you using? I borrowed my friends double electric medela and I didnt get anything out of it...but the medela harmony (manual) pump is wonderful! I love it...it doesnt hurt and I go at my own pace and I get much more out of it than the other.
You didnt get complimentary coupons, etc?? I got all the samples (formula, etc..) in the mail and the packets from the hospital had them included too. Plus I signed up on all the sites (huggies, pampers, etc..) cause they send out diaper/formula coupons...any little bit helps =)
But if you did get any packets or formula samples def check them out...lots of stuff! =)

I dont know what we're gonna do without my grandma here =) though Jackson was VERY good last night and this morning. He slept for about 4-4.5 hours last night and woke up at 330 to eat...then promptly passed out on my chest =)
Lol that is too funny aabout your husband..I think Bobby is gonna miss my grandma too (eventualy...lol she can be a lil overbearing)...she was such a big help these past 3-4 weeks! I got spoiled with my breakfast in bed and 2-3 hours of baby-less sleep every morning =) Though you're really lucky she lives so close....my closest relative is 45 min away =(
Oh I bet he just loved his 1st bath! =) I'm hoping Jackson will =) thats so cute that you taped it...great memories!
Oh please..We cant wait til Jackson sleeps 5-8 hours straight either! =) Though I do love our lil middle of the night cuddles...I'm enjoying ever second..in a few months it wont be like that...a few sleep deprived nights is a small price to pay in the long run right? =)
Thank you! =) Jackson is doing just wonderful! =) He is the best baby! I know he is so blonde! I hope it stays like that..which it should mommy and daddy were both really blonde too =) We're getting ready for his 2nd dr appt this morning (at 1030) to check his weight..then we're going to lunch and then probably home so daddy can finish working (he works from home 80% of the time).

Well luckily I am not 6 hours a day on bedrest...the doctor just wanted me off my feet 6 hours a day in kindergarten :) So this is my first official day off...I suppose I should be feeling good about that but I feel a bit guilty leaving a sub with the last few weeks of school. Oh well...I left plenty of plans and extra work for her so I guess I should just go sit with my book next to the pool that just opened in my condo complex :):) Have fun kids! Talk to you soon!!

I had read about those herbs on breastfeeding.com; I'm taking Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle & Alfalfa each 2-3x a day. I have noticed a boost in my milk production (which is awesome!). How are they working for you?

OMG that is so crazy! $600 for an 8x10?!?! That is insane! Have you gotten any of those packets for complimentary photo packages from like JC Penney or other places? The poses sound absolutely beautiful but I fully agree about not wanting to throw down that kind of cash.
My incision is doing very good...I think my stitches have started to dissolve and it barely hurts anymore =) I still have my pain meds but I havent taken any in like a week...
Other than that everything is going well...my grandma is leaving in the morning...so no more help! Eeek! =) But we're excited to just be the 3 of us for a while =)
How is family life treating you? Are you guys getting any sleep at night?

I am here at my computer this morning, feeling very had it!
I had contractions last night again, and they stopped!
I can't take this anymore, it just simply isn't fair!!
I know she will come soon, but with all else happening in my life, broken sleeps and moody teenagers, and an anxious husband, I can't seem to be happy about anything these days, I just am so over being preggers, and I know that once she is born, physically and emotionally I will feel %100 better.
