Just set up my website and I am so excited. I am pregnant with my first child and so far everything has gone pretty well. Morning sickness wasn't too bad. Though I started bleeding at 7 weeks and that freaked me out. I went to the doctor right away and everything was fine. I am entering my second trimester and I am getting a lot of my energy back. Now, I still sleep a good 12 hours a night, but no more naps.
Last doctor visit I heard the baby's heartbeat and it was almost surreal. Sometimes I still can't believe there is a baby growing inside me. During the second week of November we will find out the sex!! I can't wait.
I will post ultrasound photos soon. Waiting for my hubby to hook up the scanner.
Looking forward to meeting new mommies!

Had a doctors apt today and I got to hear my babies heartbeat for the second time. It is the greatest sound in the world. The doctor said I could schedule my BIG ultrasound for the 17th or 19th week. So, I wait two weeks or a month to find out the sex. I am so impatient. Though he said the longer we wait we can see more of the organs and how they are developing. I am going to try to hold off till the 19th week, but will see. I just can't wait to find out. I have also gained 15lbs!!!!! Yikes!

Scheduled my apt for the BIG ultrasound! Nov 26th is the BIG day! :) I decided to wait till I was 19 wks, so we could see everything.

Today was the BIG day! IT IS A BOY!!! The ultrasound was the coolest thing I have ever seen! I am the most impatient person and I so want him to be here now. I want to hold him and kiss him. I am so excited I can't go to bed. I just want to shop for him and call everyone I know. He is kicking up a storm tonight. When the tech was taking all his measurements he wouldn't stop moving. Though as soon as we switched over to the 4D, he hid his face and fell asleep. We got like 3 shots on the 4D, so I am a little bummed. Though I am gonna pay to have it done again when I am a bit further along. www.peekababy3d.com

I had a major shopping spree today! I had so much fun shopping for my little guy. I took some pics of my favorite outfits and posted them. I always had fun shopping for my nieces and nephews, but it is totally better when its your own. Even my husband was oohing and awing over some of the outfits. I just want him to be here. I am already getting started on the nursery. I picked out some paint colors and I am trying to find a painter who can paint vintage airplanes on one of the walls. It is so much fun!

My hubby and I are off to Michigan for a week. We are going to his friends wedding and visiting his family. I am excited! I am going to see snow for the first time! :)
I had a great Christmas. Got lots of cool stuff for Presley. Colin got me an awesome video camera and a beautiful necklace with a diamond (presley's birthstone). Well, gotta run! Have a great week!!

Things are going great! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by! I just got another U/S on Friday. I was 28 weeks and 1 day. I can already tell he has daddy's lips. I am just so excited! I can't wait to see my hubby holding Presley. My husband has never changed a diaper or even been around babies before. I have six nieces and nephews, so I have been around babies and at least know how to change a diaper. HeHe.
We have gotten so much done in the nursery. Though I am not going to post any pics till we are finished. My baby shower is coming up and I can't wait!!

I so totally can't sleep! I starting to become very uncomfortable. Then by the time I get comfortable I have to get up to pee! I just want my lil man to be here. My hubby is so sweet. I woke up hungry, so he got up at 1am and got me Taco Bell. So, this weekend my hubby and I driving all the way to Ft. Worth to pick up a Valentines Day present for me. Colin bought me a new Siamese kitty. His name is going to be Blaze! I am obsessed with Siamese cats. One day I would actually like to breed them. I am a sucker for any animal. I can't even go into Pets Mart when they have their pet adoption day, because I want to rescue them all and I get all emotional. Seriously, it is that bad. Colin thinks I am a total freak! Anyways, I can't wait to have a little road trip with my hubby. We always have fun. We are taking my Tahoe, so I can stretch out in the back. I also have a DVD player in there, so I can watch movies. It will be just like I am at home....LOL. My hubby bought me this Tahoe two years ago, because we wanted babies. My whole family made fun of me, because I was driving this mom mobile around. Finally it will officially be a mom mobile!!! Okay, I am so rambling. Going to try to go back to bed. xoxoxo

I am home with my new kitty!! I named him Oliver. It is very fitting for him. This was an early Valentines Day present from my hubby. Oliver is so handsome, he comes from a long line of grand champions and is just breath taking. I have been so busy with him that I have been having major web site with drawls! Below is a picture of my new baby. I love him so much already.
So, today I went to get my hair done and I ended up cutting 5 inches off! It feels great. My hair grows so fast, that it isn't a big deal for me. That is about all the excitement in my life.

Haven't been on in a few days, because I had a little stay at the hospital. Everything is fine and baby Presley is doing great. Though I am not going to lie I was a bit scared. Sunday night I started having massive back pain and contractions. Then I started having major chills and vomiting. So, I waited a couple of hours just to see if it would pass. It was only getting worse, so I called my doctors answering service and they called me back ASAP. They told me to go straight to L&D. My hubby was not home, so I called my sister n law and she took me there and my hubby met us up there. Come to find out I had a pretty bad kidney infection. Which can cause contractions and all those other symptoms. So, they loaded me up with fluids and antibiotics. I am now home and feeling much better. Still really tired and just kind of feel like I have the flu. When we were leaving the hospital though we passed by the nursery to look at all the sweet babies! I can't wait!!! :)

Well, I finally uploaded photos of Presley's nursery. I am just waiting for his shutter to be made and installed. Then we can put the chair rail up. Other than that everything is complete. Everything is washed and ready for his arrival. I had a doctor apt this past Monday and everything went great. I had that Group B test done. Though I have gained 54 lbs!!! I am not worried though. I can lose it and most importantly Presley is healthy. This Thursday I have another apt and I will finally have a pelvic exam and find out if I am dilated, effaced, etc. Which I am dying to know. I have never been so excited to have a pelvic exam...LOL! This week we had a NEW outlet mall open up 5 minutes from my house and I am loving it. There are 5 kids stores and the prices are great. Besides it is good exercise for me. I went today and just walked for 30 minutes and just window shopped. The mall is outside in the open, so it's nice. Hubby and I are in bed and about to watch a movie. We had our usual Friday date night. We went to a cajun restaurant and had crawfish. YUMMY!!

I meant to ask you...I saw Presley sitting up in his little bumbo seat, how old was he when he sat up in it? And how'd he do? Was he still bobble-heady? I'm nervous to put Jackson in his...lol my luck he'd slam his head all over!

I'm starting to get things in order after being gone for a week...we have SO MUCH going on with plans & appts...next week we have dentist appts, friends BBQ for 7/4 plus its Jacksons 2 month appt and he has to get his shots, though I'm only letting them do 2 max...I'm not comfortable giving my little guys over 5 shots in 1 day..not good. Then the following week I have to go to Clearwater/Tampa and find a dressmaker (Bobby & I are going on a cruise in Dec for our anniversary & we're gonna have our "ceremony" on the beach in St. Maarten cuz we were married in the courthouse and didnt get to have one) cause I found a dress I love but the material isnt suitable for a beach wedding lol. So that should be a fun experience =)

Do you know what your prayers might have just worked, she woke up this morning and has been in good spirits all day. The spots dont seem to be itching and she isnt getting anymore! Infact the spots seem to be scabbing over now, a sure sign that things are getting better.
I think I feel better because it is the weekend and Neil has been around more, he has helped out. Bless him he has Alexandra poorly and me pregnant and tearfull!!! the joys!!!
But we all doing well today, and its Saturday night so Ive just had a hot bath and Im going to go downstairs to spend the night with Neil watching a movie, dont know what yet but we will find something. Ive bought a big tub of ice cream today so Im going to indulge in some tonight!!!

Im so sorry to hear about your father. But he is in a so much better place now :) I worked in med-surg when I worked in the hospital and I saw some ugly and awful stuff. And ocassionaly I became attached and I took it home with me.
I know with just my experience with Mason everytime I have had to be in the hospital with him seeing all those sick kids just makes it harder.

I really like it hear...we get all the seasons, but the only downfall is that THE OHIO VALLEY is awful when it comes to allergies and I have really bad asthma so they work hand in hand. That and the occasional tornadoes..lol I actually had my house hit by one in 96

Most of my maternity clothes came from Old Navy and Kohls this time. VERY CUTE!! It saddens me because I was stylish when I was pregnant. Not so much anymore. I hate shopping. I really do, unless its for my kids of course. I hate clothes shopping for me though. Most of the clothes I have are from highschool...yeah I know HILARIOUS! I so need to go on what not to wear. But anyway....I usually just wear my work t shirts and my maternity jeans that are way too big...LOL I can't believe I just admitted to that.

I dont know how anyone could work with kids in a hospital. I worked in the adult hospital and that was hard enough. But after having kids things touch me like they never did before. You have to be so strong to do something like that.

It really wasnt bloody. I dont remember seeing any now that I think about it.
That happened to one of my girlfriends too. But her little girl had meconium issues as well. They put an iv in her head.....it was so sad to see her in there. I bet it felt reassuring for him to be a big baby in that world of small ones. Im sure that was awful. But at least all is well and the precautions were met so nothing could have gone wrong :)

My mom was the same way with all of us. I was VERY sick and didnt gain any weight at all until like 26 weeks or something. But I ate everything. It made so sense to me. lol I cant really tell me my stomach that I have lost that much weight but I can in my face and legs. My friend was like how can you only gain 19 pounds and have like a 9 pound baby..lol I really dont know. I am gonna blame it on genetics :)
I dont want to get rid of my maternity clothes. I had such cute clothes...its almost sad lol
