Just set up my website and I am so excited. I am pregnant with my first child and so far everything has gone pretty well. Morning sickness wasn't too bad. Though I started bleeding at 7 weeks and that freaked me out. I went to the doctor right away and everything was fine. I am entering my second trimester and I am getting a lot of my energy back. Now, I still sleep a good 12 hours a night, but no more naps.
Last doctor visit I heard the baby's heartbeat and it was almost surreal. Sometimes I still can't believe there is a baby growing inside me. During the second week of November we will find out the sex!! I can't wait.
I will post ultrasound photos soon. Waiting for my hubby to hook up the scanner.
Looking forward to meeting new mommies!

Had a doctors apt today and I got to hear my babies heartbeat for the second time. It is the greatest sound in the world. The doctor said I could schedule my BIG ultrasound for the 17th or 19th week. So, I wait two weeks or a month to find out the sex. I am so impatient. Though he said the longer we wait we can see more of the organs and how they are developing. I am going to try to hold off till the 19th week, but will see. I just can't wait to find out. I have also gained 15lbs!!!!! Yikes!

Scheduled my apt for the BIG ultrasound! Nov 26th is the BIG day! :) I decided to wait till I was 19 wks, so we could see everything.

Today was the BIG day! IT IS A BOY!!! The ultrasound was the coolest thing I have ever seen! I am the most impatient person and I so want him to be here now. I want to hold him and kiss him. I am so excited I can't go to bed. I just want to shop for him and call everyone I know. He is kicking up a storm tonight. When the tech was taking all his measurements he wouldn't stop moving. Though as soon as we switched over to the 4D, he hid his face and fell asleep. We got like 3 shots on the 4D, so I am a little bummed. Though I am gonna pay to have it done again when I am a bit further along. www.peekababy3d.com

I had a major shopping spree today! I had so much fun shopping for my little guy. I took some pics of my favorite outfits and posted them. I always had fun shopping for my nieces and nephews, but it is totally better when its your own. Even my husband was oohing and awing over some of the outfits. I just want him to be here. I am already getting started on the nursery. I picked out some paint colors and I am trying to find a painter who can paint vintage airplanes on one of the walls. It is so much fun!

I had a great Christmas. Got lots of cool stuff for Presley. Colin got me an awesome video camera and a beautiful necklace with a diamond (presley's birthstone). Well, gotta run! Have a great week!!

Things are going great! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by! I just got another U/S on Friday. I was 28 weeks and 1 day. I can already tell he has daddy's lips. I am just so excited! I can't wait to see my hubby holding Presley. My husband has never changed a diaper or even been around babies before. I have six nieces and nephews, so I have been around babies and at least know how to change a diaper. HeHe.
We have gotten so much done in the nursery. Though I am not going to post any pics till we are finished. My baby shower is coming up and I can't wait!!

I so totally can't sleep! I starting to become very uncomfortable. Then by the time I get comfortable I have to get up to pee! I just want my lil man to be here. My hubby is so sweet. I woke up hungry, so he got up at 1am and got me Taco Bell. So, this weekend my hubby and I driving all the way to Ft. Worth to pick up a Valentines Day present for me. Colin bought me a new Siamese kitty. His name is going to be Blaze! I am obsessed with Siamese cats. One day I would actually like to breed them. I am a sucker for any animal. I can't even go into Pets Mart when they have their pet adoption day, because I want to rescue them all and I get all emotional. Seriously, it is that bad. Colin thinks I am a total freak! Anyways, I can't wait to have a little road trip with my hubby. We always have fun. We are taking my Tahoe, so I can stretch out in the back. I also have a DVD player in there, so I can watch movies. It will be just like I am at home....LOL. My hubby bought me this Tahoe two years ago, because we wanted babies. My whole family made fun of me, because I was driving this mom mobile around. Finally it will officially be a mom mobile!!! Okay, I am so rambling. Going to try to go back to bed. xoxoxo

I am home with my new kitty!! I named him Oliver. It is very fitting for him. This was an early Valentines Day present from my hubby. Oliver is so handsome, he comes from a long line of grand champions and is just breath taking. I have been so busy with him that I have been having major web site with drawls! Below is a picture of my new baby. I love him so much already.
So, today I went to get my hair done and I ended up cutting 5 inches off! It feels great. My hair grows so fast, that it isn't a big deal for me. That is about all the excitement in my life.

Haven't been on in a few days, because I had a little stay at the hospital. Everything is fine and baby Presley is doing great. Though I am not going to lie I was a bit scared. Sunday night I started having massive back pain and contractions. Then I started having major chills and vomiting. So, I waited a couple of hours just to see if it would pass. It was only getting worse, so I called my doctors answering service and they called me back ASAP. They told me to go straight to L&D. My hubby was not home, so I called my sister n law and she took me there and my hubby met us up there. Come to find out I had a pretty bad kidney infection. Which can cause contractions and all those other symptoms. So, they loaded me up with fluids and antibiotics. I am now home and feeling much better. Still really tired and just kind of feel like I have the flu. When we were leaving the hospital though we passed by the nursery to look at all the sweet babies! I can't wait!!! :)

Well, I finally uploaded photos of Presley's nursery. I am just waiting for his shutter to be made and installed. Then we can put the chair rail up. Other than that everything is complete. Everything is washed and ready for his arrival. I had a doctor apt this past Monday and everything went great. I had that Group B test done. Though I have gained 54 lbs!!! I am not worried though. I can lose it and most importantly Presley is healthy. This Thursday I have another apt and I will finally have a pelvic exam and find out if I am dilated, effaced, etc. Which I am dying to know. I have never been so excited to have a pelvic exam...LOL! This week we had a NEW outlet mall open up 5 minutes from my house and I am loving it. There are 5 kids stores and the prices are great. Besides it is good exercise for me. I went today and just walked for 30 minutes and just window shopped. The mall is outside in the open, so it's nice. Hubby and I are in bed and about to watch a movie. We had our usual Friday date night. We went to a cajun restaurant and had crawfish. YUMMY!!

I have to go through Jacksons clothes too...some of his 0-3mo stuff doesnt fit =( or he just wont wear it cause its HOT out (long sleeves in FL=dont think so!). I know I'm gonna be teary eyed too when I pack it all up...I cant believe he's not that tiny anymore =( ..(what are we gonna do when they start walking & talking??! lol).
SO glad you guys had a good weekend...I love staying in and watching movies =) we had a pretty lazy weekend too (after traveling all week we needed it lol). Though Jackson's schedule is all screwed up right now =( he's been waking up every 2 hours at night, and he's refusing to eat more than 2oz at a time when he does..he just falls back to sleep. Thank goodness we go to the doctor tomorrow so she can answer all mommy's ?'s lol...cause I cant function much longer on no sleep =(
I tried putting Jackson in his and he just slumped over lol =) though his neck is getting stringer & stronger he just doesnt know how to keep it up yet...I try and do tummy time a few times a day..but he doesnt seem to like it all the time =) he gets so pissed. Though yesterday when he was on his tummy he was pissed and then he burped (from the pressure) and he was just laughing..it was pretty amusing. =)
I looked up the recall. I guess its something to do with the safety. Its a voluntary recall (??) because consumers who put their child in it on a table, chair, etc...and kids were pushing themselves back and falling and injuring themselves...and the parents are gonna sue the company when its their own irreponsibility. ugh!
That is so awesome you 2 have been together so long! =) Lol Bobby & I were just the opposite =) the start of our relationship is pretty amusing..I should tell you about it sometime =) we've been together for 1 1/2 years now =)

My father has never been involved in my life, although I've tried to have a civil relationship with him he's never put any effort into meeting me 1/2 way...and now my 1/2 sister tells me he's upset that I dont want him involved in my sons life....I'm sorry but I'm not gonna let hom pop into Jacksons life whenever its convenient for him...its not fair to Jackson. I dont want him to grow up waiting just to be disappointed...do you think thats wrong of me?
I know I LOVE small intimate weddings....they're so much more special in my eyes...you get to concentrate on the important things and its not all show =) I've always wanted to be married on the beach...with a few guests (max10...or none at all lol)..then a "reception" at a fun restaurant for brunch and drinks...
I'd love to have our family there, but between the 2 of us just our family would be over 40 people...thats too much for me lol

Hello Momma! Thank God shots are over with for Presley, I still have them to look forward to at Tony's next appointment. Well not look forward to, but you know what I mean. At his appointment earlier this month, they gave him a shot for something, I forget what it was for. But they stuck his little leg, and his lip puckered down, and it was just a steady cry that followed. Breaks your heart. And I'll get to do it again next visit, only he's getting I think 4 shots or something at this one
Luckily Alyssa has always done really well with her shots, no reaction or anything like that. And so far he's not showing that he'll have a reaction either. The reason I asked if you were moving was because in your last message to me, you ended with saying you and Colin were having a moving day. Wait, did you mean that you guys were just busy doing stuff? Yeah, Ok. I got it. Whew, that one went over my head
Well tomorrow is going to be nice for me, because I'm having a day out just for me for the first time! Big Tony is off work all this week, so tomorrow morning I'm going to have my hair cut, my nails done, and then go meet an old friend from high school for lunch! That may not sound like anything spectacular, but girl to me it's fantastic! It's awesome to be a Mommy, but sometimes you gotta remember you were a person of your own BEFORE you became a Mommy! It's going to be nice

I just kissed my mom goodnight and when I wake up in the morning she will be gone. I feel so lost w/o her. My mother in law is wonderful.....but my mom makes her look like the wicked witch of the east. No one is as patient and fabulous as my mom. She gave me life every time I saw her in the hospital. Please feel free to share anytime because as a first time mommy I'm going through the same thing. I've heard much advice about how Nygel should sleep, but I've decided to do it "our" way. He sleeps in the room with us in a bassinet, and I'm ok with that for now. I do not plan on having him sleep there forever, but I know I will never have him this small again. I love him so much, and refuse to have anyone tell me how to bond with him. I know that by the Grace of God he will be ok...it will all work out for us. I am sure it will happen the same way for you. If you're ready to move him to his own room, then do it. If not, please do not rush. I do not want you to stress yourself out or end up too tired because you're jumping up every couple of hours. Whatever your decision is, it will work itself out :-)
As for breast feeding…Thank God for the 8 ounces ;-) Think of the many mothers who do not get that, then think of me...Nygel gets very upset anytime you stick a pacifier or a bottle in his mouth. I only wish I could give him the bottle :-( Girl...you're BLESSED in so many ways. BTW, as I'm typing I can't help but smile when I look to the left to see little Presley sleeping.

I am just wishing Presley a very speedy painless Dr. appointment. It is a very quick process and although you are probably going to cry right along with him (I always do) just know that it is to keep him healthy in the long-run. I'll say a little prayer for the both of you:) Let me know how it goes and let me know how much he weighs. Dezmond goes for his 2 month appt. on the 8th and I can't wait to find out how much he has changed.
