April 26th 2008- Week 15 is going pretty well. Last night I had some terrible gas pains in my tummy that just refused to come out on either end. Any pain in my abdomen worries me, but when chewed a couple of Tums I felt alot better and finally fell asleep. I can't wait for my next doctor's appointment. Not really much happens, but I hope I will get to hear the heartbeat this time. Last time I was right @ 12 weeks and we couldn't find it. My doctor did a quickie ultrasound and we saw the heartbeating but we just couldn't hear it. That was reassuring. Time is moving but I only wish it would past even faster so I can meet my little one. Only 25 weeks left to go!!!
April 29th 2008- Holly ligament pain!!! Last night I had the worse ligament pain. My whole abdomen was sore and I had those old familiar sharp pains except they were worse. At that point, I just went to bed and called it a night. I fell right to sleep. The good news is that when I woke this morning it was gone! That's how it usually goes. After a little rest I feel much better. The only thing I feel this morning is gas :0 Not much longer until my next doctors appointment. I have one next Monday, May 5th @ 10:45 am. I get really excited about these appointments. They don't do too much but maybe I will hear the heartbeat. I will be 16 weeks in a couple of days. Four months already! Time is really starting to move along now. October 16th or bust! ! !
May 3rd , 2008- Last night I had the worst headaches ever! I have been having headaches since I became pregnant but this was just unbearable. It got so bad that around eleven I just went to the emergency room. I thought maybe my blood pressure was high but it wasn't. They really didn't help me much because they wanted to give me a CAT scan but I refused because of the radiation. They told me that without it there was nothing they could tell me. So basically it was just a big waste of time. They gave me a prescription for Lortab but I'm leary about that too because it is a narcotic. I am very careful about what I put into my body. I'd rather suffer than do something to hurt my baby.
May 12th, 2008- I have been so emotional for the past few days. I cry a lot for no reason. I also seem to get very angry very fast over small things. I feel like I am on a rollercoaster sometimes. Wanna hear something even worse?? I am fat. Not like a cute preggo belly, just round tummy fat. I was fat before I got pregnant so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I have actually lost a total of about seventeen lbs. since I became pregnant. I was worried but my doctor said not to be. She said that it is normal. Even though I don't really have morning sickness anymore, I still don't have an appetite like I used to. I can only eat small amounts @ a time or I feel sick. On a happy note, I have my 20 week ultrasound set for May 29th!!! Please cooperate baby!!! I want to know if you are a boy or girl!!! Mommy needs to shop!!! (If you are a girl, you will understand the "shopping complex" soon enough!!!)
May 15th, 2008- AFP test came bacak negative! Everything is going so great! If I could only get rid of the headaches and get my appetite back, i'd be great. But hey, even though I feel pretty crappy a lot of the time, the baby seems to be doing just fine and that's what is important!
May 30th, 2008- Yesterday I had my 20 week ultrasound and . . . IT'S A GIRL ! ! !
We are so excited!! I would have been happy either way, but we did really want a girl so this is cool. I don't why but deep down I had convinced myself that it would end up being a boy. I guess I did that so I wouldn't be disappointed if it was a boy. I can't get over the fact that IT'S A GIRL! Knowing the sex of the baby has taken this to a whole different level. It feels even more real now. I have never been so excited about anything before. Plus she's a pretty vigorous kicker sometimes. I swear that is the most amazing sensation I have ever felt before. But now I am already starting to worry when she kicks less sometimes. Like she has only kicked a few times since I've been up this morning but it's only 12:30. I know she will get more active as the day goes on. By nightfall she will be going nuts in there.
...am sooooo HAPPY
...did u get ur results bak???..I'll pray that you wud
