Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

I had to go to the hospital for having so many bh last week. They feel like your tummy is getting really tight and pulled in for a minute and then they relax. They don't really hurt, but they feel really wierd!!!

I don't like vitamins, I think they are a rip off. Did you know that you do not digest/use MOST of the vitamin? Your body doestn't absorb it that way, Tinxtures and chewables and the best way to go, next to eating them in their nature state, But eating that much Iron...we would be eating iron rich foods all day and to stay with in the caloric intake, we would weigh so so much, haha. I am taking ONE of the pills they perscribed for me and supplementing my diet with the rest. Oh yeah, when you eat iron rich foods your body does not absorb it unless you eat or take vitamin C with it. So Spinach and OJ. Raspberry Leaf tea sweetened with BlackStrap Molasasis.
Good luck to you too, any other complications?

Hey. I knowwwww! Its stinks so bad. i hope they go away because if i can still see them by Sat i am just gonna resched. Good luck with your pregnancy.

It's okay to have a shower before the baby, everything will just be neutral colors. My oldest daughter we didn't know what she was at first and we bought neutral items. If you have all the basics that you need for the baby then you can also have it after the baby.

Thank you!! :)

briab - Tuesday, 29 April
Hey about your shower question, I think you should do whatever you want! But for me since I don't live around family, we are having one after she's born and just doing a bbq. It will be so much more relaxed because knowing the people throwing it for me if I would have let them pick, we would be playing stupid games! So you could alway do a bbq before or after if you don't want to play games and be all weird.

model2mommy - Tuesday, 29 April
No it's not stupid.. this baby is special too and should be showered with lots of gifts :-) congratulations on your pregnancy!

They won't necessarily catch it at an OB appt. You could have been well hydrated then, so a blood pressure check could be normal. Low blood pressure can hit you pretty quickly. I can feel fine for most of the day, then all of a sudden dizzy. I also have to remember to drink water when I get up at night to go to the bathroom several times, because if I don't drink any water I am very dizzy when I get up in the morning. Sipping water often seems to work the best, that way it doesn't go through me too fast and add to my many bathroom trips. Anemia is another source of dizziness. So is low blood sugar. It would be worth mentioning it to your doctor just to rule those things out. The main thing to remember is that it happens to many pregnant women, so you're not the only one out there. Hang in there!

Thank you for your kind words. I am so anxious to see him...I know he'll melt my heart! Congrats on your pregnancy!

I have bad back pain also. My husband rubs it and i still cry. But my doctor said to try sitting in a recliner with my feel indian style. It eases a little bit and nothing else works! congrats and good luck!

riverratz - Sunday, 27 April
I get the dizzy spells too. My doctor said it is low blood pressure. The only thing that you can do is drink lots of water. Every time I drink water it goes away and I feel fine again. It has freaked me out a few times when I am at work (grade 2 teacher). Fainting in front of a class of seven year olds really wouldn't be good!

augustbump - Tuesday, 15 April
Hey! I was getting the charlie horses terrible and someone on here told me that when they first start...in the very beginning of the cramp take your toes and flex them up toward your knee and then down again...do that about 5-10 times quickly and so far its worked for me...hope it helps!

CrysC - Sunday, 13 April
Brandi I just wanted to let you know that you can also take mylanta for your heartburn. Some days mine gets pretty bad too, when it does it reminds me of an old wives tale that I heard that says that your baby will be born with a lot of hair if you have a lot oh heatburn. :)

just1sillygirl - Saturday, 12 April
Hi There! I saw your post on the "most recent comments" page about heart burn. Mine was SO SO terrible, but my doctor said taking something like Pepcid AC or Zantac on a daily basis was just fine. I've been on the Pepcid for almost 2 months now and it has been phenomenal - I can really tell on the days I forget to take it! It's just one pill a day, so I take it with my prenatals. Hope that info is helpfuL!!!

MissAmanda - Friday, 21 Mar
