Saturday, 3 May I was very nervous and called the doctor about the brown discharge. They had me come in and they did an ultrasound. Everything was normal. The doctor said it was probably old blood from implantation. The only way to know for sure if it's ok is if you see the doctor and they do an ultrasound. vickyf -
Friday, 2 May hi there congrats on your pregnancy.
i have had brown discharge on and off for the last 4 weeks, and no pain and my m/w told me as long as you get no real pain everything was normal.but if you are really worried ask for a early scan.take care love to bump.vickyx MLE -
Thursday, 1 May If you're worried about it. I would say go see someone about it no matter your health coverage.
I hate to suggest this... but even planned parenthood offers prenatal care. That's heavily gov subsidized.
Good luck to you... I just know I would freak out if I saw any blood and no comments saying "don't worry" would make me feel any more confident!
One more thing - have you heard of the Mayo Clinic Guide to Healthy Pregnancy? It's a great book answering many questions you may have. I love mine and take it with me everywhere! K~teaNewMommy -
Wednesday, 30 April brown does def. mean old blood, try not to stress it...stress is def. the worse.....as long as its not accomp. by crampin or doesnt get more red/thick u should be ok....****sticky dust**** bellababybump -
Wednesday, 30 April Hey there I read your comment and I also had spotting when I was 9 weeks it was only a small amount and only had it for 1 day I was worried about it but I went in for an ulta sound at 10 weeks and everything was fine. the heartbeat and size of the baby were normal.. I'm sure everything will be fine :) beachnurse -
Wednesday, 30 April Hi there. I read your post. Try not to worry. I had a little brown discharge at 7 weeks, and everything was fine. Watch out for BRIGHT red blood with cramping.Hang in there sweetie and let us know :) jbug -
Wednesday, 30 April Hi. I read your post and I had a brown discharge in my 7th week that lasted for about 4-5 days. I saw the heatbeat on an u/s so everything was fine and the dr. said not to worry unless it turned pink/red or cramping. Brown blood means old blood so it might just be left over from implantation. I'm almost 11 weeks and we heard the heartbeat again yesterday, so all is well with me. I would just take it easy and keep an eye on it. Good Luck!
