Sept 26, 2007 - First Day Last Period

Oct 10, 2007 - Told Chris it was ovulation time we needed to "get busy" so we were "busy" for 2 days. LOL.

Oct 30thish - still no period, but negative tests.

November 11th - Chris calls me from work and asks in a kinda sad voice.... "Baby, are you ever going to get pregnant?" I asked, "Do you WANT me to be pregnant?" He said "Yes baby, I do."

November 12th - Chris daughter Becca told me I had a baby in my tummy.

November 13th - When I went to get the test she asked what it was and I told her it was a test to see if there is a baby in my tummy. She looked at me like I was insane and said "Yes, there is". I drank water until I had to pee and did the first test - POSTIVE - Wow! I called Chris at work, but no answer so I text him "1 positive test, 2 to go". Then I drank another bottle of water, 1 more positive, then I took a shower and had to go again... 3 positive total. He called me back and I told him I had 3 positive tests, and he said "oh, okay, is that all you wanted? I love you baby I am going back to work now"! HAHA! Then he text I love you and called 10 more times! How sweet and exciting!

November 16th - Okay, I am a pregnancy test freak by now, I bought 2 more and did them at work... what a waste of money lol! Positive of course!

First appt set for 12-4 - went to the dr., but a lady went into labor and I had to reset my appt.

December 13, 2007 - Dr. confirmed pregnancy, but couldn't hear heartbeat. (scared the crap outta me), she scheduled an ultrasound the same day.

2:15pm 12-13 - Ultrasound tech saw baby, no heartbeat, did transvaginal, FOUND IT! WHEW! What a relief! OMG, I had such a heartattack. 10 weeks 2 day - Due July 8, 2008!!!!

December 20th - Next appt. Everything is still okay, due for next appt 01-10-08.

December 26 - Well the 1st trimester is behind us! Whoo Hoo! Christmas was good. I saw my family and everyone now knows that I am pregnant. My niece is about as far along as I am... My nephews wife is due 5-18-07, so we are all together in this! How exciting! I didn't realize that so many people were expecting. Yesterday I told Chris, my 1st trimester is over today... he said I'll drink to that and lifted his glass of Jack and Coke... shithead! I wanted a drink!! LOL!

December 27 - If my last period was 9-26, I should be 13 weeks 1 day right now... Not 12 weeks 4 days... right?

January 3, 2008 - Wow, I can't believe it's 2008 now!! Well, I'll be mommy for the 2nd time this year! My back is absolutely killing me. I could barely MOVE on the 31st, its a little better now, but still very painful. The Dr said rest as much as possible with a heating pad... HA, that's funny since I have to WORK! Owie!

January 18, 2008 - Been a minute since my last update... Things have been really rough the past couple of days, in my personal life, nothing to do with the baby. The baby is fine and moving around, but other things. REALLY rough. I'll tell more later, but now I am more confused than anything. My BIG Ultrasound is set for the last week of Jan! I can't wait to see if I am having a boy or girl!!!

January 25, 2008 - Tomorrow is my baby girls 4th birthday. She is with her daddy. I am going to miss her. He picked her up at school today and will keep her for a while until things settle down at home. Still not going good AT ALL. I get to have my u/s on the 28th at 3pm, which is this coming Monday. I don't know why, but I am not excited and gaagaa much anymore about being pregnant, it's kind of sad. Last time it was so much for me, exciting, eagerness, preparation, now I am just like... "Okay, here we go..." Haven't given much thought to names, or a nursery, I don't even get excited when I walk into the baby dept. of a store. I don't feel pregnant, that excited glow that I did before. Maybe it's because the pressure of the home woes. I hope it passes and I get excited soon, because honestly before you know it, this baby will be in my arms and not in my tummy. Hugz Ladies.

January 28, 2008 - Today I find out if it's a boy or a girl!!! Wish me luck for the baby to cooperate!!! I'll let you all know.

January 29, 2008 - Well, I am bummed. I didn't get to find out the sex, the tech said I was too early to find out... I was like, the Dr. told me to schedule at 18 weeks and this is week 18, what do you mean? She remeasured and said I was 16 weeks 4 days, and I thought I was 18 weeks!! What a BUMMMMMER!! So now I have to wait until 20 weeks which is THREE 1/2 weeks away!!!! Heartbeat was 121/minute, pretty slow, Shelby's was never under 150. I HOPE IT'S A BOY!!!!

February 9, 2008 - Well, Chris had the baby crib, dresser and changing table delivered lastnight! How exciting. This morning I told my girls that he had gotten it lastnight and my baby girl jumped out of bed rubbing her eyes asking, "Where is he?". SOOO Cute, made my heart cring, she thought the baby was here, she says "I want him to hurry and get out of your tummy mommy". I LOVE HER!!

February 12, 2008 - Went to the Dr. Everything is beautiful! The baby kicked the doppler because they were pushing on him! LOL! It was cute! I have gained 12 lbs and the Dr. said that I should have gained a lil' more by now... I think that is fine.

February 15, 2008 - Valentine's Day sucked. I talked to a gf of mine that I haven't seen since August and she asked if we could have lunch on Tuesday, I agreed of course, I miss her alot. Well, when I got home that set Chris off when he read my text messages on my phone. He said that I couldn't "play hookie" with him and that pissed him off, because I rarely get a chance to leave for lunch. The ONE day he came to go to lunch with me he had to rush off to go get his check across town, he said that I could have went with him. I would have had to take the rest of the day off to be able to do that... I CAN'T do that, my job just doesn't allow it. He went into such a rant that he told me he would NEVER have lunch with me again, that when the baby came I could CALL MISTY to come and I could raise it with her because this is SHIT he just didn't need. I asked please to not do this on Valentine's Day... He didn't even sleep with me lastnight, he slept on the couch. I was up all night crying, I am exhausted, and at work of course. I hope it was better for everyone else...

February 20, 2008 - Well things are better at home... I hope they stay that way!! How I am feeling other than that those is not so hot. I feel crampy and achy, I can't wait until my ultrasound tomorrow to confirm everything is okay.

February 22, 2008 - STILL DON'T KNOW!!! Bummer! The lil' stinker was curled up, booty down. NOT telling! :)

March 11, 2008 - Last night... Chris was singing (I love it when he does that) and the song happened to be THERE GOES MY LIFE by Kenny Chesney. The baby went crazy... kicking and squirming. I took his hand and put it on my tummy and the baby kicked. :) He said "I felt that" and he smiled and I just couldn't contain my giggle! God, I love him! I am so happy to be having his child!!

Today... I WILL find out the sex of the baby so I can start to buy a bunch of stuff!!! I want to buy everything, well, WE want to buy everything, but we can't until we know!! I'll let you know tomorrow... Boy or Girl!? :) Yay!!

March 12, 2008 - It's a GIRL! I have to go back today for another scan because they only saw one kidney and need to check for another and get a pic of it... I am staying positive, I know everything will be okay... :) Now I can shop for my new princess!!!!

March 27, 2008 - I think I like the name Sara... That's the first name I have run by my hunni and him not turn his nose up. Not sure about a middle name... I am going to by a baby name book and look through it with him this weekend. Have I mentioned lately how much I love him?

April 7, 2008 - I haven't put anything in here for a while. Chris said no to Sara in the end... we have to get that baby name book ASAP! Only 2 1/2 months or so before she is here and will be nameless! Things are going good at home. I love Chris more and more he is fun and loving. He is my favorite guy...

April 9, 2008 - I left work early yesterday because every 10 to 15 minutes my tummy squeezed and it felt like someone was "ripping" my belly button out from the inside. NOT a comfy cozy feeling, let me tell ya. I have posted the feeling to the board, but no one responds... I wonder if I am the only person feeling that yucky feeling. I don't remember it from when I was pregnant with Shelby... We shall see I suppose.

April 10, 2008 - 27 weeks down 13 weeks to go!!!

April 22, 2008 - It's hard to believe I am 29 weeks now! In less than 11 weeks I'll have my lil' missy in my arms, or get to see her in daddy's arms. I think I'll be the most in love with him that I have ever felt in my life at that moment. It's going to KILL me surely!! I think that he likes the name Erica Crystal Kaluza... My middle name, his last name and Erica will be all hers, LOL. Gotta give her something of her own!

May 5, 2008 - Happy Cinco De Mayo!! So today my maternity leave officially begins... Against my will might I add. Chris seems content with this set up though... In case I don't make it back, I'll update when I can. I wish all the new mommies well and the best of luck and I can't wait to catch up with everyone!!
