A little bit about me

Where to start.... My fiance and I have been together for 5 years. We got engaged on January 1st 2008.... 4 months in to planning our AMAZING wedding... oopps we are pregnant :) We just recently found out and went to the doctor on April 11th to confirm the pregnancy. Timing is not perfect and it makes me a little stressed out but everything happens for a reason. Our wedding has been set in stone since 2 days after we got engaged, the date set for September 6th. I bought my dress on January 15th it is expected for delivery this week. I will be close to 6 months pregnant by September (our wedding) and did I mention my dress fits (when I tried it on) me PERFECTLY!! Stressed yet?

*May 14th Update*

We have moved the wedding up to June 6th. Things have been good, but crazy! We went for our first OB appt. May 7th and had our first ultrasound. It was so surreal to see our little peanut and watch the little heartbeat just beating away! We go back May 30th, to hear the heartbeat :) Still no morning sickness, as long as I keep my belly full, thank goodness. I have yet to gain any weight but as crazy as it sounds, my jeans keep getting tighter and tighter :) I guess it is just from my waist expanding! As long as I can still fit in my wedding gown in 3 weeks I will be good! We go on our honeymoon June 8-18 which I am in MUCH need of a vacay!!! I have bought tons of sundresses and hope that those will work well for the honeymoon! Well I guess that is all for now, I will update again after the 30th and let everyone know how it went!

July 9th

we went to the doctor for our ultrasound today and ..........IT'S A BOY!!!! we are so thrilled. My husband is on cloud 9 :) Our little boy was bouncing and flipping and turning every which way! It was adorable!!! Ultrasound tech said nothing to worry about now, but my placenta hasnt detached yet, so I have to go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound. If it still hasnt detached I will set up on weekly ultrasounds to see if it detaches. If it still hasnt by 30 weeks, I will (unfortunately) have to have a c-section. Not at all what I want but as long as the baby is ok that is what will happen! Other than that everything went great. Right on schedule. Didnt change my due date! Yay for a little boy!!!!!

Are they helping with baby names?: NO! Thats me and my husband!.

How often do they call to check on u?: I talk to my mom every day. My dad calls often and my MIL calls a few times a week

How far along r u?: 18 weeks 6 days

Have u had an unltrasound?: Yes

Have u heard the heartbeat?: Yes several times! We heard it with the doppler, then the ultrasound, and I work at a hospital where we have a dopple and I listen just about every time I am there :)

What was the heartbeat?: for the ultrasound July 9th it was 157 bpm

What do u want?: I wanted either. Both for different reasons

What does the daddy want?: Boy!

Are u happy with what u r having?: ecstatic!!!

-About the birth!

Do u know what u r taking with u?: No, havent thought that far ahead

Who is going to be with u?: hopefully all of our friends and family at the hospital, as for when I deliver, probably just my husband and my mom!

Are u going to videotape it?: that would be a negative

Natural or medicated?: Medicated if possible. Drugs are made possible for a reason!

Do u think u will need a c-section?: It's a possiblity, we will know more at our next ultrasound in 3 weeks

Will u cry with u hold ur baby for the first time?: Oh of course, I am a huge sucker emotions!

Do u know what u will say to the baby when u first hold him/her?: I have no clue

Are u scared about the labor?: Yes and no, just hope the baby and myself are ok!

Girl names...: we had tons of girls names

Boy names...: still working on this!

Is ur baby going to be named after someone? possibly, we havent decided. We might name him after my brother.

Have you felt the baby move?: yup it is AMAZING!

Do you have stretch marks?: My boobs are gargantuous, I have a few on the underneath of my boobs

What was your first symptom?: no symptoms, just woke up on the 9th and thought... hmm.. I havent had my period.. I should take a test... wow what a suprise!

What religion will the baby know? And from what side?: Catholic, my side.

Will ur baby have godparents?: Yes, but we havent even began to think about who!

What is the baby's room theme?: Blue and chocolate brown

What was the first thing u bought for the baby?: The very first thing was a "i Love Daddy" bib. Now that we know its a boy, we have both bought him tons of stuff!

Are u ready to be a mommy?: OMG I can not wait. I really have dreamed of being a mommy for a long time!!!
