I heard watermelon helps and I've been eating it a lot-it seems to help the swelling. (as well as staying off of my feet-I've become quite lazy lately)

Hey, how are you doing? I saw yesterday that you said that you have been struggling against preterm labour since week 25?! Wow - I went in at 31 weeks and numerous times after that, and that feels like forever! On the birth stories, I keep wondering if I can write length of labour: 9 weeks! (Or however long it turns out to be!) At any rate, I figured I should contact you to comiserate LOL! And now I see you have the same problem as me - baby was so eager to come early, but has now decided that it is far too comfy in there! I am SOOOO sick of contractions and don't feel like they even mean anything anymore. It is almost 1 am and I am having terrible cramps - for everyone else this seems to mean imminent baby, but does not seem to mean anything for me! LOL, feeling very sorry for myself. Anyway, take care of the two of you!

LOL I know exactly what a suburbian is! HAHA! My doctor's office is basically across the parking lot from Holy Spirit, so it's extremely convenient. I had my first child there and I loved it. Rooms are huge and have jacuzzi tubs! YESSSSSS :-) Anyway, I know how you feel about being large...I am supposed to be 150 and I was bigger before I got pregnant...now I'm over 200 and that doesn't sit well with me. I'm also extremely swollen and went swimming about 3 times. Once I hit that water, I didn't care. I just glared at everyone like yes I'm effin pregnant now look the other way! LOL

Yeah it's because I am a bitch. Ya know you go through so much shit in pregnancy and men just don't give two shits. Well some of them anyways. I just have to get this through my head that I will be doing this on my own. Oh did I mention that he is leaving to go to Utah to visit his family this Thursday?! Yeah it's just for the weekend but who knows he may skip out on the whole thing. I understand it's his first baby but be a freakin' man and stand up to your responsibilities. And the word "prick" you used it's funny that's what I've been calling him this whole time. lol Thanks for talking to me about this. It sure does help to talk to someone that is pregnant the same time and knows how many emotions we go through. Hope to hear from you soon!

If your liquid was really really yellow, I'd suggest you lay down and do a kick count. Leaks should be clear, or cloudy, but not colored. Is it possible you had a little accident at the same time? I'm only asking because we talked about this in class yesterday, and its possible that your little one had a wee inside you, which could be dangerous. Call your doctor and ask, just in case.

I can also concur about the two bowel movemtns a day thing.. I think we are all squished up inside and this MUST be why.. Its weird.. ALL of this being pregnant is weird.. LOL I wont know how to act when my body is mine again soon.. How are you getting a long? I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia at week 32, been no picnic i can tell ya that... MIL's have this way about them that they feel they have to give you unwanted advice. I still deal with it and my daughter is 3 now and our little boy will be born soon. Like in April, my daughter and I went to Maryland to visit my husband's grandpop and she felt the need to tell me to bring Savannah a jacket because it was going to get cold there. Did she not know that I check the weather before packing to go somewhere? It's annoying, I know! I know that I am a better mother than she ever was, so whatever!

As far as your swelling problem, this is what my doctor told me when I asked him about it ....He said "Ashley you have a 5 pound tumor in your belly that is causing your water in your body to not flow properly.....you'll be cured in about 7 weeks!!!"
