Hello! My name is Britney Hernandez and Im 19 years Old. I graduated from Conroe High School last year and moved to be with my husband whos stationed in Kansas with the Army. I found out that I was pregnant before thanksgiving and due to Alex's hectic work schedule I decided to move home. He is getting out of the Army here within the next month and will be coming home! yay!

We are expecting a little boy, Julius Carter Hernandez, Due on July 22nd! Im really hoping to not be pregnant the entire forty weeks, but we will just have to play the waiting game I guess! We are both very excited for this little guy to come, no doubt will he be spoiled!

May 2- So I am getting very anxious! Ahh, I just cant wait to meet this little guy. He is so ACTIVE! It blows my mind. Mainly at night and in the morning is when he wants to wiggle, kick and punch! I know hes going to be an athlete just like his daddy, He lets his presence known with the force of those jabs! Sometimes I get this odd feeling like he is tickling my bladder and making have to pee all the time. I am having a had time find a comfortable way to sit. Since the doctor said he is going to be a petite little boy, no more than 6lbs 5 oz, he has ALOT of room to just play. He really likes to wedge himself in my ribcage and it hurts so bad. I have to lift my arms to get him to dislodge his little butt. Hes already a stubborn ole thing like his daddy. He wants to do what he wants to do! ha! Daddy is getting so excited! I cant wait to see the man that I love, holding the little man that I cant wait to meet! Its gonna be wonderful!

May 8th- So I had a doctors visit today. I have lost 4 pounds, and I dont know why! I sure eat like food is going out of style. I think its because instead of eating nasty junkfood, I started pigging out on fresh veggies and fruits and cutting the soda intake to 1 a day. I guess thats what did it. He also said that Julius is going to be small, around 6lbs 5oz because Im 29 weeks and im only measuring at 28. We listened to the heartbeat and it was in the 130-140's! So everything was normal and ok! Yay! I am going in for another ultrasound around the 34 week mark! I cant wait to see him again! I have my next appt on Monday the 19th! Ill write more then:)

May 19th- So I went to the doctor today and had a normal check up! Last time I went in I weighed 127.8 and today I weighed 129 on the dot, so I put on 1.2 Lbs! My doctor is really pleased with my weight gain and told me to stick to what ive been doin, He doesnt want me to gain over 25 lbs. Which is fine with me! Haha! His heartbeat was in the 130's-140's which is normal and he is in the head down position! Already! He must be burning to get out, ha, jk! I have my next appt for June 2 and then 2 weeks after that we are going to do the growth ultrasound to see how big he is and all that good stuff! Im so excited! Ill be 8 months exactly tomorrow! 9 weeks left! WOOOO HOOOOO!

June 2nd- I had another Doctor visit today, and I have to say it was by far my worst. I was fine until I was weighed and I gained 4 lbs in two weeks. Which I kinda expected, I just had my baby shower and a BBQ the day before and in those two weeks I have been kinda stress eating. So Immediately that put me in this weird mood and then I sat on the bed and out of no where I started BALLING. I mean really crying. The doctor came in and was all concerned. There I was crying and telling him things like "I cant do this anymore, I cant be pregnant any longer, Im in alot of pain and he hurts me and I dont want to do this anymore, Can you induce me at 38 weeks? I cant handle being pregnant the entire 40 weeks!" and he was so calm. Lol. He was like well hun, Im hoping that any where around 36 weeks you'll start the laboring process and if you havent we will induce you at 39 weeks. That made me a little happier. He was so concerned he wanted to put me on depression medicine, but im not depressed. I just got really emotional for some reason. He listened to the heartbeat and it was good and Julius is still head down. I have an Ultrasound on the 16th at 2 and then right after that I go in for a doctors appointment. That will be my last visit every two weeks, from then on it will be every week. Thank god, this needs to hurry because Im getting impatient.

June 9th- Well I had my first baby shower on the 2nd of june, but Im just now getting around to writing about it. It was really fun. My mother and Mimi made my diaper cake, which actually turned out GREAT! Alot of people came, which made me really happy! I was so worried that nobody would show up and my mom had spent alot of money getting it all set up. I got 3 of the same bathtubs, ha, Im returning two! I also got two boppys with different slipcovers, But im KEEPING them BOTH! ha:) Im sure they will both come in handy! I got clothing, bottles, diapers, wipes, little shoes and geez. Just about everything you could IMAGINE and MORE! It was so great! Everybody said the cake was wonderful, I didnt eat any of it! My mother in law in throwing me a "Mini" baby shower in the Corpus Area on the 28th. Im just now getting alot of the big ticket items. For example, my swing, the bouncer, my travel system, the pack and play, the diaper bag i wanted and so much more. I am so excited to see it all! But I think thats all I have to say! I go for an Ultrasound and then a doctors appt on monday and Ill update then!

June 16th- SO today I had another ultrasound and It was great. We couldnt get to many pictures because he is so squished in there, but I did get a few of his face and they are cute! He is a tad bigger than expected, which shocked everybody! As of right now he is 6lbs 3oz! And everything on his body is measuring at 36 weeks, except his legs which were at 34, almost 35. But the doctor said thats nothing to worry about, its just because its hard to get a great reading because of the way he was positioned with his legs all balled up! Right after the ultrasound I had a routine doctor check up and everything went fine! His heart beat was in the 130-140's and he is still head down and all that good stuff! I only put on 2 more lbs! For two weeks thats good! haha:) I also got my bassinet/pack-n-play and put it together! I love it! I was supposed to be going to the Corpus area for another baby shower on the 28th with my husbands side of the family, BUT, my doctor is not sure if he wants me going! He said we will have to wait until he checks my cervix that monday before! All in all everything went well! I have a doctors appt this coming monday and Ill update then:)

June 24th- So I had my first weekly visit yesterday! I went in and they took my weight/blood pressure. I had lost one pound, which puts me at a total of 24 lbs gained. Which isnt so bad I guess, lol. Im hoping that my weight will kinda remain the same, because that is what everything is saying! I was tested for Group B strep and that was a little akward. Ha:) I wasnt aware that they swabbed the anal region as well, so I kinda got a SHOCK! lol:) He also checked my cervix. OMG, that has been the WORST experience yet! I seriously wanted to crawl of the back of the table! He kept telling to relax my legs and breathe, and I kept thinking, "Oh ok, how in the HELL do you expect me to RELAX when you have like HALF your damn hand up my...(well, you know). Im not dilated(ugh) and my cervix is still pretty thick(ugh again), BUT he said that his head has come down more which is good. So i guess it wasnt all bad news! Im starting to think that this baby is coming NO TIME SOON. I kinda expected it, this being my first child and all, but sheesh, I dont wanna be preggo anymore! I was also gived the ok to travel to the Corpus Area this weekend to attend the baby shower my mother in law is throwing for me! Yay fun, 4 hours in a car! yay! lol. Alex is also supposed to be leaving for home(FINALLY) on friday morning! Im so relieved about that! But now, we have to move all my bedroom stuff over to his house and WOW! I feel like too much is going on at once! Im a tad overwhelmed! But I know it will all be worth it in the end! I have another appt on monday and I will update then and let you all know how the baby shower/appointment went!
