My Birth Story:

July 4th @ 11:30 pm i started having mild contractions that were about 13 minutes apart..i tried to sleep through them..aroung 1am they were 7 minutes apart; i went to the bathroom amd as i was trying to get off the toilet another one hit me & i fell. My mom woke up and came in the bathroom i was screaming crying, she called the doctor...who never called back..so at 1:30am we left for the hospital. My mom had to stop for cash & my contractions grow strong as hell...i thought i would die! Got to the hospital at 2am..they placed me in maternal observation..i was screaming crying, the hooked up the monitors; iwas 2cm & the whole time i was crying for my mom...then i started throwing up every where, i was in sooo much pain..so they decided to admit me to labor & delevery. They started my iv and gave me some meds; that helped a little..about an hour later she checked me & i was already 5cm..so she called for my epidural. The lady gave me the epidural...which wasnt working, so i cried for more...they gave me another dose..& this time i went completly numb..the nurse checked me & i was already 9cm, then my water broke.. about 20 minutes after that i was 10cm and ready to push. i pushed for about 20-30mins with oxygen and out came Saliyah @ 8:04am wieghing 8lbs 4oz with a head full of hair. Her sholders ripped me and i had to get stitches :-[ she was 19 3/4 inches. Shes such a happy baby and i couldnt ask for a better baby, i love her so much!!
