How`s my pregnancy doing?

Jan-30th = We found out we are having a baby girl! She looked so cute and was sucking her thumb. I am so excited that I can finally buy clothes and things for her room with out having to do unisex colors.

Hello everyone and congrats on your pregnancies! When I was 16 I was diagnosed with endometriosis and told it would take awhile for me to get pregnant and I needed to do it as soon as possible. Well, six years later when I decided to try after graduating college, it took approx. 18 days! So much for being infertile. My boyfriend Adam is an officer in the military and I am working towards my masters in social work. We got to hear the heartbeat on 12/19/07 and it was amazing (170bpm)! This is going to be our first and last child so I am trying to enjoy every minute that I can.

Feb 19th- Went to the doctors and got the results back from all the testing and anatomy scan. Negative for absolutely everything!!! (I chose to test for anything they possibly could) The anatomy scan was perfect, couldn `t have been better. Such a relief to know she has such a healthy start.

I haven't spoken to my doc yet about my test results. I got a copy of them in the mail and have been doing my own research so far. I'm not sure what she'll have be do or not do ahead of time while ttc'ing. I am SO ready to be PG again tho - I hope it doesn't take long. Fingers crossed!! :) I see you are in week 22 - that is great! I love to hear success stories like yours!

I was 20 weeks when they thought it was a girl. The US tech just didn't seem like she was really sure- she was actually kind of a butthead. She doesn't have kids (I asked) which is why I think she wasn't too enthused doing my scan. I want a bit of time to see my baby and have some bonding time. As I said, the lady was kind of a jerk and I had to ask her 3 times to turn the screen towards me so I could see!

Hey thanks for the message, Yes, I have been in pain since I was 15,I have terrible cramps and nausia. No one really seemed too concerned. Finally I found an awesome doctor in 2007 who after my first appointment with her decided to do a Lap. Sure enough I have endo. Im really afraid of the Lupron side effects so I may do that as a last resort. Congrats to you, people like you give me hope! Thanks Again:)

chocolatemomma - Saturday, 2 Feb

nursejessicaj - Friday, 1 Feb
Hi! Yes, congrats on your scan. They are about 90% accurate, so I would go with what you were told. That is awesome. I have a girl and I LOVE it.

I hear OJ is good for activity, (and good for your too, LOL) but I never tried it, I just went! Let me know how it goes!

majusty - Wednesday, 30 Jan
thats funny that you say that...im gonna say its true because i had my ultrasound appointment this evening and the baby was very active and i needed to go to the bathroom so bad but i held it cause i wanted to see our baby. so full bladder does cause an active baby.

nursejessicaj - Wednesday, 23 Jan
Hi Brittany! When you find out the sex, let us know. Congrats and do not worry. You will feel your baby more and more as the weeks go by. Take care,
Jessica

Honestly i kept having dreams it was a girl.. and have a girl name picked out but because i cant stay with one boy name and all the quizes i have done say boy im thinking blue lol. My fiance wants a boy soo bad. What about you when are you finding out?

ellmomma - Monday, 7 Jan
I found a really great ebay store w/ the cutest maternity clothes, so I thought I'd share it with you. It's: http://stores.ebay.com/Kikis-Fashion. Happy shopping and good luck w/ everything!!!

Rachel918 - Monday, 7 Jan
Hey your getting a cute little baby bump!!! Did you have endo really bad? Was also told the same thing was diagnosed many years ago and was put on the pill and lupron for 8 years. I got pregnant after getting off the pill for two month!!!! Hope your having a good pregnancy:)

christy114 - Wednesday, 2 Jan
Hey, I researched this myself and they said to lay how ever is comfortable. They said that if the baby is not getting eanough blood it will wake you up and you will naturally feel the need to move over to your left side. I still lay a lot on my back and no problems so far. I bet after we get to big though it won't be as comfortable and we will know then to move on to our sides. Just listen to your body, it knows what is best. Just think, women have been doing this long before the days of tests and research. I figure we are smarter than we think!

veroki - Monday, 31 Dec
i think they are ok, they burn a bit and sometimes i get bruises but its not a big deal. i hate waking up to take them if i accidentally fall asleep before 10 pm. im on 40 mg too but im starting to wonder if thats a high enough dose, im 199lbs and i would think i needed a bigger dose but who knows.

meggan - Monday, 31 Dec
i've heard that you're supposed to sleep on your left side since that's the way your blood flows and that way the baby won't be losing out on any kind of blood flow or anything. not sure if that's completely true but i've heard that, so....

HppyMomToBeRS - Monday, 31 Dec
I was told and have read in your second trimester you should not lay on your back for two long because of the weight of the uterus is to heavy and affects the blood flow and sits on main veins in your back. I believe this is after starts at the fourth month. I do karate and I was told by my doctor after the fourth month I can not do any warm ups that require me to be on my back longer than five minutes, so I hope this helps.
