Hey! Sorry it took me a little while to get back to you! My Dr stripped my membranes at 37 weeks and at 38 weeks to try to get labor stirred up but with no success... He really just recommended I do it to try to get labor started since 37 weeks is full term. He induced me only a few days before my due date and that is because he was on call that day and I really wanted him to deliver my little girl. Pretty much all just a matter of opinion and having an easy going Dr. He typically induces you around a week early whenever he is on call since there are so many Dr's in his practice. Your getting close, hope your labor goes nice and easy!! Best wishes!!

Yeah, I think he had a good b'day party. He had so much fun. I'm doing good. We gotta take Kaiden to his 2 year check up this afternoon so I'm anxious to see what the doctor has to say about the heart murmur. We started on the baby's room last night and I LOVE it. It's the prettiest pink lol. My husband likes it but he says 'it's bright' and reminds him of Peptobismol. Oh well-it's adorable to me! I just can't wait to get it finished. How are you today? Do you go back to the dr this week?

Well, the house is ours. We're just not living in it yet. We are painting throughout the house and then we are going to have carpet laid and then we'll finally be moving in. I'm hoping it won't be too much longer. Today was Kaiden's 2nd birthday party and I added some pics from it under the 'Photos' section on my page. Look at him giving his cousin a kiss. He's so sweet! I can't believe he'll be 2 tomorrow!

My mom had 3 kids and none of us were c sections. My sister also had 3 kids and none of them were c sections. So nobody in my family has had to have a cesarean, I really don't want to either. I'm 26 weeks tomorrow!! YAY!

Kaiden weighed 6lbs, 7oz. How much did Austin and KK weigh? I'm hoping this baby will come around the same time Kaiden did and weigh around the same as he did lol. My doctor said my birth canal is extremely narrow and Kaiden's head was misshapen for about a week because of it. It looked like he had been vacuumed out but he wasn't. My doctor also said he doesn't think I'd be able to have a baby much bigger than Kaiden was vaginally so I'm super nervous about that. Hopefully she won't be a big mama!

We wanna have maybe one or two more but I wanna wait atleast 4 years until I'm good and out of nursing school and have had a job in nursing for awhile. I just plan to take the pill though. With an IUC they put it in and it stays in place for 5 years right? Did you have Austin and KK in Alabama or SC? I'm not trying to be nosey but I was wondering if they call your husband now Dad or if they see they're own dad?

That would piss me off too! I can't imagine being 36weeks and having to find a new doctor. The same doctor that I used for Kaiden is the one I'm using now and I really like him. Good that your already 1cm-I hope it goes fast for you!! I forget-I know you've told me but do you plan to have any more after this one?

Hey! I'm doing good today-how about you? How did your doctor's appt. go? I'm only having Anthony in the room with me too. He was the only one in the room when I had Kaiden. Ugh! I've gained 28lbs already! How much have you gained?

No he's never been to daycare because I have never worked-just go to college. While I'm in class my dad watches him or my mother in law. My parents and Anthony's parents always want to watch him so we haven't had to worry about daycare yet. When he's at my mother in laws it's like he's at a daycare though because my brother in law and sister in laws kids are always there plus the 3 kids she babysits. So, who all is going to be in the delivery room with you?

Yeah, I bet it is scary once your that far but it'll be worth it =) We got Kaiden a Blue's Clues bedding set for his new bedroom, a Blue's Clues DVD, some cute little Keds shoes, and Hide and Seek Blue and Sprinkles. We are going to order his cake today (Blue's Clues of course lol) Do you have your kids in a daycare while you work?

Hey-we're good. I've just been so busy renovating the house we are about to move into. We have the whole house primed and have started painting the kitchen. Kennadie's room is next. It's fun but soo tiring-I just can't wait til' we're done and all moved in but that will be 3-4 weeks because we are having new carpet laid throughout the house and a new bathroom sink, tub, and cabinet put in the bathroom. Kaiden's excited about blowing out his candles lol he's always walking through the house blowing any candles that are lit out. He's occupied watching Dora right now so I'm doing laundry. How are you? When is your next dr appt?

I looked at all your new pics lol this baby has so much Auburn stuff. I'm not really big into football (I do watch NASCAR though lol) so I could care less if my kids wear Auburn or Alabama but my bro graduated from Auburn last year and my whole entire family are avid Auburn fans. My husband is kinda like me it doesn't matter to him but he's more Alabama fan and his parents are big Auburn fans. My husband's bro is a BIG Alabama fan though. So everyone buys my son all this Auburn/Alabama stuff lol. He has the cutest Auburn tricycle though.

I've been going every 4 weeks (so normal as any other preg. woman) but after this next appt. for my glucose test at 28weeks I'll start going every 2 weeks and then every week after that. How often have you been going? Did you start off going the normal every 4 weeks?

Well, I had a longer morning than I expected. My doctor decided to check me to see if I was dilated since I have a history of premature dilating/labor and because I told him I had been having mild period-like cramps and he said my cervix was opened a good bit on the outside but thankfully closed on the inside. He sent me over to the hospital to be monitored and everything looked good. Kennadie's heartbeat stayed around 157 the whole time and I had no contractions. Soo-my next appt. is on October 15 for my glucose test.

I'm pretty good-just getting ready for my doctor's appt. It's at 11:00. I'm kind of dreading it because I've gained like 9 lbs since my last appt at 20 weeks and I know he's probably gonna have something to say about that but oh well. lol. How are you?

I don't think so. We found out at his first appointment (1 month old) the dr. said when he listed to his heart he could hear blood from 2 chambers squirting across into the other 2 chambers. He said he has a hole in his heart (that's how he explained what heart murmur meant to us) Anyways, he referred us to a cardiologist and they said everything looked fine and that many babies are born with heart murmurs and they close themself in more than half of the time. So, they said by his 2 year check up if it hasn't closed on it's on then they'll want to do surgery so I'm hoping everything is okay. It seems to be because ever since that first appt. his pediatrician hasn't mentioned it. Fingers crossed though!! We are moving into a house in Prattville, just a few miles down the road. I'm excited!

Hey! Yeah, I was thinking Kaiden was probably close to being average. He's always ran underweight and tall for his age. His 2 year check up is October 1, so I'm sure they'll tell me all that then and they are going to check his heart murmur-which hopefully closed on it's on so he doesn't have to have heart surgery. I don't think I could handle that very well right now. Kaiden's party is on Saturday (his b'day is on Sunday though) Luckily, we went to Party City and they had TONS of Blue's Clues party stuff. So he IS going to have a Blue's Clues party. He still loves Dora and he has a few Dora DVDs that he loves watching but I think he likes Blue best. We are moving in about a week and I can't wait to fix up his little room and the nursery.

I agree with you-I don't see any reason NOT to have an epidural. Sure there are risks but there are risk with nearly everything. Including having natural labor or a home birth-so many things could go wrong. That has just never appealed to me. I remember being totally thinned out by 33 weeks-are you dilated at all yet? Usually dilation comes with thinning out. I'm jealous-your SO close to having your baby. I'm 24 weeks-so still awhile to go for me. How much does Cailyn weigh right now? Kaiden is at 28lbs, just wondering if that's normal for a 2yr old.

Hey! I'm doing pretty good-just got Kaiden changed into his swimmer, he's about to go swimming with his daddy. I bought some maternity jeans in a Medium because I figured that's what I'd need but they are too loose in the legs. I do have a pair that I LOVE though. They are actually really cute. I keep forgetting to ask you-do you plan to have an epidural with this baby? And did you with your last 2?
