Hey there! We are both doing fine! Went in for another Ultrasound yesterday and he is now 3 pounds 2 ounces and is doing great. I haven't felt too bad the last couple days. My Fibroid has not gotten any bigger and I am so thankful for that! Tomorrow the weather will be 84 degrees and that will be a welcome change to the 100 degree weather we've been having. Can you believe we are down to 10 weeks? I can't wait!!! Well I hope you and baby are doing well. Let me know!!

Yeah I couldn't stop smiling when he told me it was a girl-I had convinced myself it was another boy. I'm just glad everything looked good. She was 14 oz and her heartbeat was 157 bpm. She was layed across the very bottom of my uterus in a tight ball so we didn't get any 4d pics of her-just a videotape. I go back at 24weeks and he said he'll try to get some good pics for us!

Yeah, we both do and so does all of our families. A girl hasn't been born in my side of the family for over 15 years so we'd all love a little girl but we'll be happy either way. Has your daughter started potty training yet? Kaiden has but still wearing diapers- he's watching Blue's Clues right now. He LOVES it and that's all he ever wants to do. Love your backgroud!

I know! Those five days are going by so slow though!! I've been doing pretty good just shopping for my son's birthday that's coming up and taking care of him and my husband as always lol. We are getting anxious to find out..I'll let you know Monday! =) How have you been?

I couldn't find anything I really liked as far as sets went. I am doing a giraffe theme and having been collecting different giraffe's here and there. I didn't buy a comforter set because they are way expensive and I plan on buying a breathable crib bummer. Good luck! Mine collection of stuff is really matching fairly well. Hope you find something cute!

hi i don't haev GD I have the real thing, type 1 diabetic since age 11. Don't worry. I had my first child at 19 she was born healthy and was 6lbs 7 oz. She is now 4 years old and still healthy. I'm now pregnant with my second its a boy. Take care and eat right your baby will be just fine as long as you do that.

Sorry to hear about the Gestational Diabetes. At least it's a mild case and hopefully they can give you some good info on tweeking your diet. Is the heat killing you? It is me!! I've been so hot and miserable the last couple days. I'll be glad when it cools off a little!!! I'm glad that you and baby are both doing well. Let me know how it goes at the dieticians. Brittany, try not to be too scared about having GD. Typically, your blood sugar is worst in the morning because that is when the placenta is releasing the hormone that inhibits your body's release of insulin. Avoid eating all sugar, avoid eating fruit in the morning. A sample breakfast would be: 2 whole wheat toast lightly buttered and 1 egg. Your dietician will tell you more about carb exchanges and foods to avoid. Good luck and stay positive!

Well, if this is a boy we definately wanna have another because we both really would like to have a duaghter but then, that pregnancy I know I'd be like 'please let this be a girl' lol because I wouldn't wanna have the chance of having 4 boys running around, you know?! That's too many boys for me! But yeah, I think either way we'd like to have a 3rd in the future (around 4 or 5 yrs from now) but especially if this is another boy. I know, I can't wait to find out. 2 weeks from Monday and we are counting down the days! I think even numbers are good..so maybe 4 kids?! Lol! I'm glad your doing good though. I just hit 18weeks today. Time seems to be flying with this one. I had to take the 3hr glucose test when I was pregnant with Kaiden, it was no fun. Is this your first pregnancy with gestational diabetes? I hear ya on wanting to eat everything-my appetite is definately HUGE these days! How much weight have you gained now? Talk to you soon!! =)

Hey girl, I haven't talked to you in awhile so I figured I would drop in and I seen the problems you've been going through. That's what happened to me when I was 27 weeks with my son (he was my first though so I had no idea I was contracting...just thought stomach was hurting) I went in and was dilated to 2 but everything's okay with Kaidy (lol thats what I call him, my husband doesn't like it-it's girly) anyways, I hope you can keep him in longer and everything will be okay!! Are you planning to have more after him? I went to the dr this past Monday and everything looked good and the BIG U/S is August 20. So, I'm counting down the days to finding out whether to shop for pink or blue. I will send you a message when I find out!! Take care! =)

I read your comment on the 27th week....I too failed my 1 hour GD test. My count was 160, anything higher than 140 is pre-diabetic and anything over 199 is considered diabetic....I took my 3 hour on Friday no fun, but I made it through... Im waiting for the doc to call me with my results TODAY...Ive come to the conclusion that if I do have it my diet is going to do a 180!!!! Anything to keep baby healthly... Do you have any symptoms??? I dont I feel great...who knows...everything will be okay whether you have it or not, only 3 months left then it will be gone...take care, if you have any questions let me know.

U should be! I would check with your employer, but most companys pay 60% of you base pay up to the first year, then after the first year they will pay more of a %. Hopefully, that is the case for you! :o)

Aww it's cute! It doesn't look like you have any stretch marks, do you? I don't have any belly pics up yet cause it's not really big enough to take pics yet. Yeah, I can't wait to find out! Your so cute and tiny in your wedding pic and the pic with your son-I'm sure you'll lose all the baby weight and be back to the same size. I lost it all with my son and hoping I will with this one too. I think your little boy looks just like you! =)
