Hey do any of you ladies have any advice on how to transition from co-sleeper bassinette, to the crib in her own room? i want to start putting her in her crib at night but imnot sure how to make the transition. She goes down in her crib during the day for naps but im still trying to figure out the transition for night time!

Hey girls!

Allie is doing alot better now then before, she must have been going through some really weird stage or something?

She still doesnt sleep all though the night, but shes sleeping in longer stretches! so thats nice for me :) her dr said that it should only be a matter of time before she does sleep though the night... crossin my fingers an counting down!

Things that have helped:

GRIPE WATER-Ladies go get some NOW (coming from a mother that has a baby with colic, its a life saver)

Happi-tummi-herbal sac that heats up an goes in a pouch to put around their tummies

the good old fashion-nuk binki

Super soft microfiber plush blankets

the boob of course :)

and....

last but not least- baby einstein fish aquarium (this i owe my life to).

We had her two month checkup today an shes growing like a weed literatly(9-5-08).

Weight: 12 lbs 4 oz

Height: 23 an 1/2 inches

Head cercumfrance: 15 an 1/4 inches around

She has been recently starting to smile alot, last weekend is when she started doin it big time, an yesterdayshe smiled at me for about 5 min straight an even let out a little bit of a laugh:) I'm so happy to have her in my life, she beautiful, strong, demanding :) and you can already tell that she's caring! Having a baby isnt easy an it should be classified as a real job, why its not is beyond me, but motherhood is amazing and i wouldnt trade it for anything!

P.s. My 20th birthday is on September 25th! YAY

Haha thats funny about the carpet but i know what you mean the carpet that was there before us was so gross. It was like brown/gold and it wasa so ugly, when we ripped it up it was nasty!! Our new carpet is cream as well and I love the feeling of new carpet on my feet! I really hope i get internet soon cuz my work computer is really annoying! That's what my matts dad said, older men really don't care about the girls rooms haha but I was like "don't you just LOVE IT" and he's like .....oh yea pink's the best haha. How was your forth of July?!

ohh not too long until you're a mommy!! Its really fun being a mom, BIG change from being pregnant. I always told myself I would never miss my preggo belly but I do, sometimes I catch myself holding my hand to my stomach to see if i can feel her moving

but i'm so happy she is here. But trust me, enjoy everyday with your preggo belly and yourself... thats my best advice!! And when I went into labor i know this sounds retarded but breathing through contractions helped me with pain soo much but by the time I got to the hospital i was already 5-6cm so most of my labor was at home anyways!! Your belly is looking cute, hope you are doing good!! <3

I hopfully will be able to get the internet soon but i work everyday this weekend and next week, and i usually am board out of my mind at the desk! Were getting cable this Wed. so hopfully the internet will be there soon after, so i can upload lots of pictures! Ill post pics of our place to, the carpet made such a difference and it looks really good. Matts favorite room (and mine) is the baby room, its just so cute!

Aww!! Thats so exciting... It must be hard to sleep with all that excitement... and pain lol. Yes, my name is sarah, im 19 and graduated from high school. I really want to go to college soon. I dont want to put that off. I want my little girl's future to be a good one. lol So thats a little bit about myself. Yes!! I cant wait for the 2 week visits to start!! yeah, breastfeeding is every 2 hours, but your baby will wake up and MAKE you get up probably every 2 to 3 hours. but im not breastfeeding. even when i was though she still slept 6 hours straight. but i didnt breastfeed for long at all. i didnt have enough for her. she eats A LOT!!! she eats 5oz. right now theyre only supposed to about 3 to 4. and she eats 5oz every 2 hours thru the day. and shes not FAT!!! i dont get it?! lol. shes a thin little thing.

im doing great! its crazy how fast time is going! its weird :/ umm..hmm. advice. well, shes a realllly good eater and sleeper, so i cant really say "get sleep while you can" because she sleeps seven hours at night. has since the hospital. i guess try and have patience. some things you have to keep sane about. like when theyre screaming for food, but you cant be as fast as they want you to be. lol

Wow sounds like I'm gonna need a fairly huge duffle bag lol! My dr. visits are all off track cuz I see a nurse practitioner , and she cancelled on me on one of the appts cuz she went on vacation and it took them like 3 weeks to reschedule... so now they're all off. I've only ever gone once a month. My next one will be 3 weeks from my last and then my last couple weeks I go once a week. I've been told we should be going once a week now though. Is that how your dr appts work?

I still need to pack my bag! What did you pack?? I need to be on bed rest, the baby is pinching off my sciatic nerve and I can't even walk its so painful! Of course I still do cuz It drives me crazy to just sit around all day lol! I hear you on the no sleep, always peeing thing! This nerve pain shoots down the left side of my back, down my leg everytime I get in and out of bed, not to mention everytime I put pressure on or lift my left leg!

Thats what im going to have to do, i don't want anything happening with her! Were moving in today!! Im really excited but I have a loat of stuff, i never realized how many pairs of shoes i owned but now i know i have over 200 pairs...haha. Also, i have work now like everyday till next thursday so matts going to have to do most of it w.o me:( Baby Julianna is such a little kicker! She loved to kick my ribs and she gets the hicupps alot! She is doing really well but as for me it gets more and more difficult to function each and everyday! How are you doing and how was ur last baby shower?

awe thanks. the boy and i decided her name will b Rayna Ann. =] im so excited.

yeah i started to register and thats about all i did register for.

omgosh im so excited theres only 3 more months! im sure ur really excited ur almost due!!!!!
weight gain im doing normal...but i feel huge too lol i try to dress cute to make myself feel better. haha
but i started to workout again to try to save some body parts from weight gain lol

haha yeah im waiting awhile. mines like aug 23. which is almost once month before my due date! haha oh well.

i pretty much have EVERYTHING i need. so idk what im gonna put on my list haha the only things i need is a high chair and a play pen. thats it! lol

this girl of mine is going to have sooooooooooo many clothes! haha
