Our story- My husband and I met 2.5 years ago on an airplane. We were stuck sitting next to each other for a 3 hour plane ride to New England. We quickly formed a relationship and were engaged 1 year later. With my mothers hard work, we had the most beautiful wedding in New England June 30,2007.
Two months after our wedding we found out we were pregnant (at only 3 weeks). We were not planning this so soon but it was a pleasant surprise! Last year we went through a horrible miscarriage. The m/c took a hard toll on both of us.
Something ironic happened this year…. When I took a pregnancy test on September 11 we learned that we were pregnant. This same day last year our baby died. What a coincidence (if there is such a thing)
I am enjoying every minute of this pregnancy. I try to eat right, get tons of rest, and walk every night. We look forward to everything this pregnancy will bring.

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

I'm planning on taking child birth classes. I start them next Tuesday (the 25th), and go every Tuesday night until April 29th. A lot of people have told me they're useless, but with this being my first baby, I need all the information and techniques I can get. No, I may not use the breathing and positons they give to us, but at least I'll feel better knowing that I actually KNOW about them, and that they're there for me to use if I want.

Hi, ive just about finished setting up the baby's nursery. We just need to get other things now.. I need to get a monitor too but not sure which. I think those movement ones seem a bit extreme as it will be going of constantly! The baby will be in with me for the first couple of months anyway. I think we are just going to get a noise one : )

Well, that's good! I was hoping for that kind of news...lol..and boy was it hard to find out otherwise..so I'm so happy for you! But most importantly, I had a healthy daughter! I'm wonderful...I'm going to Elton John..lol...Regan is good...a little on fussy/clinging side and she's not wanting to eat too well...but I think she might be teething...she's very much due for it..I just wish go ahead and pop thru! lol

Hello thanks for your email. Let me tell you both professionally and personally my opinion on blood cord banking. It is almost like having a life insurance policy for your child. Like life insurance god willing you may not ever need it but by banking privately just one of your childrens cord blood it can save the life of your entire family from at least 70 diseases have been treated with stem cells. These include cancers (leukemias, lymphomas, myelomas), blood disorders (thalassemias, sickle cell anemia, Fanconi's anemia), immune deficiency diseases, genetic diseases and others. You can't put a price and that. Some companies like mine offer Huge military and medical professional discount plans and they also can set you up on a payment plan. Uh, I wish I had your husband! So to speak... ;) My boyfriend wont leave me alone! Its frustrating having to turn him down all the time :( I feel so bad... I wish I could just give in, but cant, the 'feeling' disappeared since becoming pregnant!

I hear you on the husband not paying you any attention issue. I have not asked mine but I really think they are scared to hurt us and or the baby. This is our first and when we found out my husband could not keep his hands off of me.. now he never seems to initiate one on one time like he use to ( I am not an aggressive person so he usually has to initiate) Try and give your husband the benefit of the doubt that maybe he is just scared of hurting you and hopefully that is all it is. They are a bit jealous that we can feel the baby all the time and they can not also I think. Take care and good luck.

I too , have been feeling fat & ugly. I had an emotional teary rant at my hubby the other day as i said that he made me feel unattractive and wish he would touch me. Have been told by the doctor to refrain from sex(due to a few complications) but i still need a cuddle and told how beautiful i am..like he used to. He said that my body is still sexy but feels strange because he is aware the baby is there..and feels it hears and sees everything. i guess i understand...but it still doesnt make you feel any better does it??!!

Hi there, I've been feeling fat too. After 5 months of no sex drive, it's finally coming back but my husband has lost his...and I can only think it's because I'm fat and less attractive. I love my growing belly, so I'm happy regardless. Take care!
