Our story- My husband and I met 2.5 years ago on an airplane. We were stuck sitting next to each other for a 3 hour plane ride to New England. We quickly formed a relationship and were engaged 1 year later. With my mothers hard work, we had the most beautiful wedding in New England June 30,2007.

Two months after our wedding we found out we were pregnant (at only 3 weeks). We were not planning this so soon but it was a pleasant surprise! Last year we went through a horrible miscarriage. The m/c took a hard toll on both of us.

Something ironic happened this year…. When I took a pregnancy test on September 11 we learned that we were pregnant. This same day last year our baby died. What a coincidence (if there is such a thing)

I am enjoying every minute of this pregnancy. I try to eat right, get tons of rest, and walk every night. We look forward to everything this pregnancy will bring.

I dont know if this will help but my doctor has a list of medications that are safe for pregnant women and it says you can take Benadryl or Unisom for insomnia.

bdubb - Thursday, 14 Feb
I had mine done at 24 weeks (1hr) and 25 wks (3hr). You were a big baby. I guess you know that GD usually leads to large babies. Hope your doctor moves it up for you. I am feeling good starting to feel really big and a little uncomfortable my stomach is so hard to night I feel like I am going to bust. Keep me posted on your test.

i have the worst insommnia...i dont sleep at all at night, i know exactly what you mean!!

Maryb318 - Thursday, 14 Feb
I was having the same problem with sleeping until my doctor told me I could take Tylenol PM. It's my best friend! :) Good luck!

Hey hope all is well! I had the GD test a week ago - I failed it so had to take the 3 hr test a few days later. The stuff you have to drink was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. For the 3 hr test I had to fast for 17hrs and then had to sit in the office and give blood 4 times in 3 hrs so I felt like crap by the time I was done with that but the 1 hr was not bad. Good luck with your test.

YOu sound like me. I only feel my baby move sometimes when I eat and rest. Every one is different. Dont worry.

As your doc where your placenta is. Mine is anterior, between the baby and my belly, so I don't feel him as strongly as other girls but I know it is ok. May make you feel better:) Hope you're doing well!

Thanx for the reply..LOL yes husband are funny creatures sometimes.
Hope all going good your end. You are due on my sons birthday. Do you know what you are having? We decided not to find out...we didnt find out with the our other children either...excitement is overwhelming sometimes especially when we cant decide on names...we better get cracking on them though, not long now.
Have a great weekend. Take Care, Clare X

Yes, my back is killing me. I sit at my desk a lot for work so I am going to try to bring a pillow and see if that helps.

I know you're nervous...and I won't tell you not to be...I remember how I felt. Tho try not to let it overwhelm you..that's not good for the baby. But it is nerve racking....I was nervous until my daughter was one week old and I got the call that she was fine...even tho she looked normal and I was pretty sure she was ok, it was comforting to get final results. Let me know how the appt goes?

Hi,
I will try moving around once in awhile to try to ease my pain. I normally sleep on my stomach, so sleeping has been a issue for me. I have been trying to sleep on my side, but i still sometimes wake up on my stomach, and I am really worried becuase I dont want to squish my little man!

Jess G - Wednesday, 23 Jan
hi, just checking in with you to see how you are doing? How's the genetic stuff going?

Kerrie78 - Saturday, 19 Jan
thanks, we will - i hate the way my mum is always so cynical! it drives me nuts...

A pregnancy ring is nothing special, just another ring. Only it is 2 sizes bigger than my wedding rings! For my fat pregnant fingers!!!

I'm glad that helps! Im happy for you and your hubby! What a romantice story of how you met!
I help moms convert their shopping to safe, all natural, lead free, chemical free products that work that people use everyday. The products are priced the same as shopping at walmart. Basically I refer people to shop on their own through a wholesale company (like sams or costco) and the company pays me. There is no investment, no risk, money back guarantee if you hate the products. Let me know if you would like more info.

Hi, I am 21 weeks and my baby measured 22w3d during our ultrasound Friday, but my doc said we were going to keep the same due date.

milf2b - Sunday, 13 Jan
Hey there, I just had an ultrasound on thursday when I was 19 weeks and 5 days but my baby was measuring at 20 weeks and 5 days. I actually changed my due date on here because of that but I will be going to the docs on wednesday and I guess they will decide if it has to change. I think it's pretty cool though, we have big healthy babies :)

lol, you messaged me the same time I messaged you. Anyway, I know it is scary. My half brother has partial trisomy 18. And I am a carry of a 18th chromosomal inversion(what caused my bro's problem) They take alot of family history questions...about everything..so have that ready. And they took my blood..that was it. About 3 weeks later, the results came back...that was a hard appt..they told me that I was a carrier in every single cell of my body. So they told us our risks and chances. They recommended me for amnio if/when I was to get pregnant. So we decided we did want to try ... and after alot of prayer and thought, i decided that I didn't want to risk an amnio..no matter how low the risks were...there would be nothing I would do. So they checked around during the u/s and everything seemed just fine...so we waited to see..and when she was born, I had her genetically tested to make sure(no risk of m/c if she's already born.) and turns out, that not only was she not affected, but she wasn't even a carrier..and she had a 50/50 chance of being a carrier..both me and my sister are. I DO know how nerve racking it is....

Jess G - Saturday, 12 Jan
hi, congrats on your pregancy! And I'm sorry for your previous loss. I also had a m/c before I had my daughter. That is crazy that you found out you were pregnant the same day you lost your last...that kind of happened to me, my step granddaughter was born on the same day one year later that I lost my first baby.(I m/c on July 31, 2006, she was born on July 31, 2007). it made it a strange day. Good luck, and hope you are feeling well!

I feel her every day. Some days she is more active than others. But I do feel her several times a day every day. It is comforting to know she's still alive in there. =] Do you know what you're having?

agummybear - Friday, 4 Jan
BTW~ She had Nora 3 months ago.

agummybear - Friday, 4 Jan
Hi~ By no means did my friend steal the name I liked. I had Nora picked out before I asked her what her names were going to be. When she said Nora, I was bummed because then I thought I couldn't use it now. She gave me her blessing to use it but I feel weird about it. I'm having trouble picking out a different one. Maybe I'll have a boy and it'll be a non-issue. Thanks for your comment!
