This is our second child and we are so very excited. I am terribly impatient, and have a hard time waiting for my pregnancy to end. I enjoy being pregnant for the most part, but want to hold our little one SOON!!! May seems like it is a million miles away right now.

1/22/08 - We confirmed yesterday with our 3D ultrasound that we are having a little girl! My daughter is very happy since she can't wait to do her hair and dress her in cute little pink outfits. Obviously this would not be O.K. if we were having a boy, so she is glad!

3/19/08 - Just a little update. We are scheduled for a c-section on May 15th, but I am so upset I have to have one. My first daughter was born by c-section and no doctor or hospital in our area will do a VBAC. I have to drive 1 hour to reach a doctor and hospital that does them. I saw a doctor a few months ago that said if I return around week 36-37 she would examine me to see if she felt I was a good candidate for a VBAC. So, we are waiting and hoping, but I have resigned myself to the fact that I may have a c-section. I suppose I shouldn't whine too much since I will get to see my little one sooner than if I waited the whole term!

Molly is coming home to our hospital tommorow morning, and we will be able to visit her everyday now. I am so happy. she has to get to eating 8 bottles in one day, but she is taking 3 now and the rest in her feeding tube. I am so happy... her 19 month old sister can see her now. hurray

melissa-s - Tuesday, 29 April
Thank you... she had to be put back on oxygen and not eating. they are going to try again tommorow. I dont think I will ba able to make it up to see her for a few days or so because the discharged me only 30 hours after the csection which is very early. they usually make you stay 3-4 days here. I hurt horribly...but my little girl will be ok I am sure. I'll keep everyone posted

Haha yea I have that problem at the grocery store too. Even my mother has to keep cereal at her house for me since I've gone on maternity leave because I spend most of my days with her so I'm not alone and goin nuts! I've tried to get the healthy but sweet cereal but it just doesn't work. I have to have my kiddy cereal with the little games on the back of the box! Hahahaha. Good luck!

Thank you,
My Dr. was concerned last time I saw her about the swelling, I see her this Friday and I am going to mention the swelling to her again and see what she says. Hopefully it isn't preeclampsia. Hope everything is going well with you. :)

hey. thanks for checkin in. I did go from a 9 to a 30 in the first week on the progesterone ( pills)...so that was good! i stuck with them for 2 of the 3 weeks then weened off cause I had bad side effects...but here i am in week 12. go for U/S on monday. wow...you are close to d-day! how are you feeling? you're a pro at this now... :) (when did you show with your first? i have NOTHING yet....makes me paranoid....)

LilPeanutsMom - Friday, 21 Mar
I would really prefer getting to look at the baby than to stare into the dark at NOTHING at 3am! haha I had never heard that it was our bodies way of getting ready for the baby. Kind of cool how things like that happen, isn't it?

bdubb - Thursday, 20 Mar
I know I would be lost with out this site. I have two friends that are pregnant and I have tried to get them to sign up but they haven't yet. I don't know what I would do without it. I hope the sleep situation gets better for all of us.

missannie - Wednesday, 19 Mar
thanks for your encouraging post about those of us still working... that was very sweet. work is definitely getting tiresome... however, i don't have any other kids yet... and being a mom is a full time job! so i applaud YOU for being a mommy, homeschooling, and being pregnant. :)

LilPeanutsMom - Wednesday, 19 Mar
Thanks for that message. I reduced my hours to 30 and felt like I was going to disappoint everyone. I am just so T I R E D all the time! I get exhausted just getting ready to go to work in the morning. :O) I am up at 3am each night...Dr told me to take Benadryl...it helps me get sleep at night and is safe for the baby. I am at the point now where I just want to lay in bed all day. I was thinking...is this normal?

bdubb - Wednesday, 19 Mar
That was such a sweet message and I can't tell you how that just made my day. It is getting tougher to keep working and I have to keep going for 8-10 more weeks so the words of encouragment mean a lot. I have been wide awake in the middle of the night and it is driving me nutz! Don't know what it is because I need the rest. Hope all is well with you. Besides tired how have you been feeling?

missannie - Tuesday, 18 Mar
i hear ya.... even my mom and boyfriend have been making comments.... my mom said to me the other day 'geez annie, where are you even going to PUT the rest of that baby!!!' gee thanks mom. and my boyfriend commented 'if i didn't know any better, i'd say you were like... 9 months pregnant!!' and while i was looking at the belly photobook on this site for 30 weeks, he informed me that i 'totally have everyone beat.' like this was a GOOD thing... sheesh. i know they mean well, but sometimes i wish people would realize that us pregnant women are STILL self-conscious about our looks!!! anyways, hang in there! i think you look great :)

kmfitz - Tuesday, 18 Mar
You're not even big. People are jerks. It's like, I'm sorry, but I happen to have a BABY in here!!!!

shavonneb - Sunday, 16 Mar
AWWW HOW ADORABLE, THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION

LilFarfel - Sunday, 16 Mar
Thank you so much for your reply. I love this site. :) I am going to take the medicine (starting tonight actually). I feel better knowing the pregnancy seems to be healthy-it's my body that needs a 'boost'. I was having a hard time trying to figure out if we should try to hang onto something my body may not want to for other reasons..playing 'God' in a way. 8 weeks in and this kid already has me making huge decisions!! Hope week 29 is treatin you well! :)

charity87 - Friday, 14 Mar
lol my baby gets hiccups almost everyday and somtimes more then once a day..it last for about 5 minuts or so and its such a funny feeling. my husband can feel it when he puts his hand on my stomach. I think it should be perfectly normal maybe its just from drinking alot of water latly I am always thirsty!

mommabrown - Friday, 14 Mar
hey! i just read your comment, and my little guy gets hiccups as many as 5 or 6 times a day sometimes. other days not as much, but sometimes i just feel so bad for him because he'll have them all day it seems like!

shavonneb - Friday, 14 Mar
hi and congrats on your pregnancy!!! i was reading a comment you made and i wanted to know how do you know if your baby is having hiccups, i think that is so freakin neat lol! will u really be able to feel them, i want to know if my son have them and i just ignore it, thanks

janellk - Friday, 7 Mar
Thanks for commenting... so I am curious... have you found anything to relieve the pain or are you just dealing with it? What has your doctor said? Just curious, because it seems as if the farther I get along, the more unbearable it gets!

mintea - Thursday, 6 Mar
i just wanted to thank you for your comment about sex and feeling sexy right now. Nobody has mentioned that on this site yet and it seems lacking, as its quite a big shift in most of our lives. And I think your description of feeling like a big hippo in bed is right on...I was just saying something similar to my husband last night. Thankfully he is very understanding.

lilmomma - Wednesday, 5 Mar
Thanks so much for the advise and understanding! I think I am going to go out and get a sexy outfit for the weekend.
