Today we found out that we are having a girl, we are going to call her Poppy Jane. The name means so much to us and words can never explain how much we want her in our lives & love her with all our hearts.

I have a cerclauge in place & i have also been given a date for that to be removed (05.10.08) 36 weeks, after that Poppy Jane can arrive anytime, so i thought i'd find out what Madam Zaritska had to say.......

So first day of week 13, I am so excited to be here even with all we still need to go through. I have an NT scan on monday, am working at an exhibition for my company Tues, Wed, & Thurs then on the following Tuesday I have a cerclage fitted. Hopefully once the ceclage is fitted i can stop being such a worry wart. I still havn't told many people about baby. Want to tell everyone. That will come soon i'm sure.*************

Well to day is my daughters birthday she's 17 & i feel old!!!! Today is also my 1st midwife app. Hopefully she has a boppler i am so eager to hear/know anything about my baby. I had a m/c last may at 16 weeks so am so anxious & pre natal care here leaves a lot to be desired!!!!

Hello my lovely!!

Im doing ok... Went into hospital yesterday afternoon as my little angel had stopped moving for 24 hrs. All ok but her heart beat was slower then they hoped for. Was on a monitor for an hour taking readings and she only started to pick up when a midwife said i need a 2nd view on this so as soon as my heart went up with worry she seemed to wake up and heart getting faster.

Anyway had to go back this morning and i thought i was going to end up staying there and having her because as soon as i was hooked up again to the monitor sitting at an angle on the proped up beds i was having really bad contractions. Stayed on monitor for about hour and half and had loads of contractions, some not to bad and some really bad!!

Midwife confirmed i was in early labour and once she was happy she had got my blood pressure down she let me come home to see if the labour does progress or die down. She said my little girl could arrive today, end of week or not even for a couple of weeks!!

Sadly since being home all i have had is the period like pains that come and go, no really tight cramping like i could not breeth feeling. I was in so much pain during these while there i could not stop giigling and laughing with tears coming down my face, all the midwifes thought it was so funny and hoped to be on shift when i go in for full labour lol :)

Anywho i think the angle i was sitting in was causing the contractions and now its once again a waiting game!! xxx

hey hun thanks so much i hope my lil girl will surprise me today after my stiches come out but im not to hopeful she will... i think she will stay in till week 39 lol well where is lil ms Poppy shes still not here??/ u must have made it nice and cozy in ur womb where she doesnt want to come out!!! lol hope u have her today!!! best of luck...

Are you feeling better? It's horrid being poorly when you are pregnant (as if we didn't have enough to deal with). What's the latest on when your little one is due? I see you are at 37 weeks - AMAZING - so surely it's any day now.

I'm o.k....stressing about an ultrasound appointment t/m....each week recently my cervix has dropped by 10mm - so by that record this next measurement will be 0.2mm and I could do without knowing that. I am going to ask at my appointment that they stop measuring after this as I really can't handle it.

On a positive note my doctor that is covering for my normal doctor (he's on hols) agreed with my research that I should be taking progesterone so I've just started on that - anything that helps feels good!

How are you? After my false alarm last Wednesday, i was gettin contractions all day Thursday so i went to the hospital Tursday evening at 10pm and baby Rylee was born Friday at 5.55 am..We are over the moon

Hi hows it going ? Any signs of Poppy making her appearance yet ? Am 40 weeks today and it's also my EDD...but am still pregnant. This sucks big time...I was never miserable all these 10 months but now I AM !! Anticipation kills...anyways, was just checkn in to see how ur doing...do let me know when Poppy arrives. Good luck !

How are you doing? Anything exciting to update me on? I am still having contractions, but nothing else. No loss of plug, no water breakage...just waiting and waiting. Looks like I will make it to Friday after all at this rate. This will be the longest week of my life! HA

Well I do eat healthy, at first I was eating lowcarbs but now i'm cutting down the carbs a bit and adding more veggies and fruits...

BTW, are you allowed to have a midwife if you have an ic?

thanks bunny - I'm finding it very hard to be postive but I know thinking all the bad thoughts is not helping me or my little lady. Luckily my little boy is going to stay at his granny's next week for the half term holiday so he doesn't have to look at his sad faced mother putting on a brave face all the time.

do you recall the lady's name that had a 25 week old? maybe it would help to look at some positive pics.

I'm just going to have to see each day as a blessing.

Hello sweetie, Im doing well, the doc says he thinks she may show an apperance by Monday a week early! But no one really knows. Been having period like pains on and off and she isnt moving as much ass normal so fingers crossed it wont be to much longer.

Had a really hot curry tonight and i dont do anything hotter then a Korma normally he he:)

My baby's head was still not fully engaged when checked last week but guess it doesnt have to be.

Any tips on bringing on labour?? Really want to meet my little monkey :)

Thanks!~ I haven't done much today. A few contractions, but yesterday was a killer! I thought for sure I would have had it last night. I am so seriously ready! I have all my thank yous done, my bills are all up to date and written out and my bags are packed! Ready to go!!

I'm on moderate bedrest so I can move around but no stress and I have to stay off my feet more than on. I feel really good this morning. A little sleepy but happy and healthy. My mom is home with me today and it feels great to relax and have someone take care of me.
