Today we found out that we are having a girl, we are going to call her Poppy Jane. The name means so much to us and words can never explain how much we want her in our lives & love her with all our hearts.

I have a cerclauge in place & i have also been given a date for that to be removed (05.10.08) 36 weeks, after that Poppy Jane can arrive anytime, so i thought i'd find out what Madam Zaritska had to say.......

So first day of week 13, I am so excited to be here even with all we still need to go through. I have an NT scan on monday, am working at an exhibition for my company Tues, Wed, & Thurs then on the following Tuesday I have a cerclage fitted. Hopefully once the ceclage is fitted i can stop being such a worry wart. I still havn't told many people about baby. Want to tell everyone. That will come soon i'm sure.*************

Well to day is my daughters birthday she's 17 & i feel old!!!! Today is also my 1st midwife app. Hopefully she has a boppler i am so eager to hear/know anything about my baby. I had a m/c last may at 16 weeks so am so anxious & pre natal care here leaves a lot to be desired!!!!

your what?? Whats cerclauge? lol- I just had to go in today because my pelvic pain was so bad- they gave me morphene and it knocked me right out lol- all the contractions, everything went away so Ive been groggy ever since - I went in there begging for a membrane sweep but my widwife said no because of the +GBS, Im so mad! lol. Im 80% effaced now so Im hoping something will happen soon.

things are going ok at the minute, he's upped the job search, and actually sent off some applications, but i've decided i'm just not going to stress about it. i'll just go with the flow and see what happens, at least for now xx

Yes at 35 weeks baby was 2/5 engaged so she is heading in the right direction, only thing is that she's lying on her side still so really hoping when i have my examination this afternoon with the midwife that she has turned and is facing my back! they reckon they can turn as late when your in labour but i'd like to know everything in going right before i get my first contraction!! lol you never know, they do say it can take up to 7 days for anything to happen!

Hey, i'm doing good thanks, looking forward to next friday as it's my last day in work. i brought my leave forward by a week as i've been getting too tired going up and down stairs all day. How are you doing, have you had your stitchy thing out yet? wont be long now till Poppy arrives. are you all ready and set up for her. i'm more or less ready for John to arrive now, still not done his nursery but he will be in with me for the first few months anyway so im not stressing too much over his room just yet

hey i'm doing good thanks. my ankles are swollen and i've started having period pains every now and then and i've dropped loads. everyone who see's me says they don't think i'm going to make it to nov 5th! finishing work tomorrow though.

Thank You! I'm feeling fine my c-section only hurt for the first week then I felt normal. I am still really tired though. How are you feeling? Your almost there, doesnt it seem like the pregnancy went by so fast? I miss being pregnant, I love to be pregnant. But I'm not having any more kids. Well I will talk to you soon.

I am doing well! How about you? I only have until the 24th before my Csection, but I have this sneaking suspicion I won't go that far. I think it will be next week if I keep feeling like I have been. I have been contractions pretty much every day. They are probably just the Braxton Hicks because they stop sometimes for quite a while, but they have been getting stronger! I have been nesting like crazy and have been off of work for almost 2 wks! YAY
How have you been? Getting ready to pop? I don't know about you, but I can't wait to meet my little guy! My daughter is SO excited she just can't stand it! She has already put a carseat in her car. HA Cracks me up.

Hey Girl...I'm just waiting around for this baby....in total misery!!! I go in for a c section on the 19th the baby is breech! Right now so far up in my ribs I can barely stand it...feels like he's coming out that way. He's so far up and I cannot breathe at all. But, I'm going to make it...just with a lot of complaining! How about you...how are things?

Yep, we are so very close! It is exciting! I know I'm already 1cm dialated but was told it's because I already gave birth so it's normal, blah. I was expecting an internal to find out if I was dialated anymore but have to wait until tuesday! I definitely will keep you updated and you do the same! I so can't wait to see how beautiful all our babies are.

Dear friends, first my apologies for not responding to any of your messages the last few days. Life has been very hectic lately and by now I have 62 messages waiting for me

Anyway, wanted to let you all know I had my ultrasound yesterday. The doctor did an internal one and everything looked fine so I was very relieved. I am so glad I got it done. My lining looked normal and he could tell I had ovulated from my left ovary a few days ago, just like I thought. It is just nice to get confirmed there is nothing bad left in there and all seems to be working normally.

Also wanted to let you know I had my first acupuncture appointment on Saturday. The lady specializes in infertility and has a very high success rate. She basically explained that we need to regulate the blood flow, the hormones and nerves and that will increase the health of my eggs and make my uterus lining stronger. A few of you have asked if it hurt. The answer is yes! I didn't expect that and so was quite surprised. The needles are so thin it is hard to imagine they would cause any pain but one in my left foot hurt the whole 10 min the treatment lasted. She told me afterwards that is the area connected to conception (she used other words though) and that it is 'good' that it is hurting. It means there is something off balance and it needs fixing so we are on the right track. It was overall a good experience, not weird in any way.

I had a doctors appointment the other day and found that I am 1 cm dilated. I go again next week and Im hoping to be 3...
Other then that waiting for this to be over with. Only 22 days till my due date.

I just got back from the doctor about an hour ago for my regular check up. They did a group B swab and checked my cervix.......nothing. She is so far from being ready to come out, I think she'll be in there another 2 months I swear. I'm getting more and more uncomfortable and crabby as the weeks progress. I have a spa day with my girlfriends coming up, though, so I hope some relaxation will get things going. How are things going for you? Did they put you on bed rest after the cerclage came out, or do you get to go about your business as usual? Although it probably sucked to have the stitches in, at least you know it will be sooner than later....unlike the rest of us

Awww that makes me sooo happy for you! I'm so glad that you can finally breathe and relax a little. Enjoy the rest of what you have of this pregnancy!! You're sooo close to holding her!!

Asher and I are doing good. Knock on wood, we haven't had any episodes in about two weeks. Go figure! Haha. I think the trick to stopping it all was getting that heart monitor!! Thank god for insurance!!

I'm not sure if I'll be induced or not...my doctors don't usually see eye-to-eye on things (

) so what one says, the other usually disagrees with. GRRR -- but the one told me at my 35 wk appt that he doesn't see any problems at all in having me induced BY week 39!! So fingers crossed that the other doc will agree! I'm praying really hard!!
