Today we found out that we are having a girl, we are going to call her Poppy Jane. The name means so much to us and words can never explain how much we want her in our lives & love her with all our hearts.

I have a cerclauge in place & i have also been given a date for that to be removed (05.10.08) 36 weeks, after that Poppy Jane can arrive anytime, so i thought i'd find out what Madam Zaritska had to say.......

After a labor lasting approximately 2 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and will be 20-1/2 inches long. This child will have green eyes and be completely bald.

But there is more. Although you may feel tired, your pregnancy will be over before you are truly ready to let go of having this precious baby you have all to yourself. I sense that you will look back and long for these days. I suggest doing something now to preserve some memories of this time. Many women enjoy making a belly cast. Perhaps you would be interested, too.

So first day of week 13, I am so excited to be here even with all we still need to go through. I have an NT scan on monday, am working at an exhibition for my company Tues, Wed, & Thurs then on the following Tuesday I have a cerclage fitted. Hopefully once the ceclage is fitted i can stop being such a worry wart. I still havn't told many people about baby. Want to tell everyone. That will come soon i'm sure.*************

Well to day is my daughters birthday she's 17 & i feel old!!!! Today is also my 1st midwife app. Hopefully she has a boppler i am so eager to hear/know anything about my baby. I had a m/c last may at 16 weeks so am so anxious & pre natal care here leaves a lot to be desired!!!!

Glad it went well! You're a free woman now! We are doing well. I have a growth scan on Tuesday and then hopefully the stitches will come out the following week. Hope your wait for Poppy isn't toooo long! XO

I am so glad you got your cerclage removed! I cannot wait for that day! I am hoping to immediately go into labor afterwards, but I hear of babys coming on their projected due dates despite IC. how weird!! I wish you the best and I hope you get to see your lovely girl soon!

hey the cerclauge is finally out that means u r so close to meeting ur lil girl my cerclauge comes out in about a week and a half and im hoping i will dialate at least some.... well wish u da best and hope ur lil princess arrives very soon/ ps can u explain the cerclauge removal procedure to me... as i know nothing of what to expect... will it be in the hospital or in my doc office let me know how urs went and that way i could get an idea of what to expect.. thanks hunn...

hi honey had to tell you! My little man decided to arrive the day you had your cerclauge removed! Thats right had him at 07.55 this morning & i was very lucky, no pain reliefe, at home as planed & a very nice 2 hour labor! Anyway i shall be putting full birth storey & pics up over the next 24 / 48 hours but wanted you to know how greatfull i am for all the support you have given me over this last 9 months & i will spk again very soon! good luck sweetie, i will be thinking of you! xx

Hope your feeling ok after your busy day hun. How are your contractions at the moment? I've been getting them everyday for the last 3 days. Getting them quite often, but can't really see a pattern yet.

Going for my last scan tomorrow and to see my consultant. Feeling nervous but excited too about what he might say! Thought I'd might try and push him towards letting me have a natural birth but if he wants to fetch her early I think I might be too excited to argue! If it means I get to see my little girl even just 1 day sooner then thats fine with me! lol!

I can't wait! I think I'm going to explode with excitement!!

How you feeling about the big b-day? Any ideas when it might happen?

If I decide to argue for a natural birth tomorrow, I think my lil lady might come before her due date this time. Do you have any instincty feelings yet? xxxx

How do you know Poppy feels the same way? One of my sisters when was young, every night my mum had 2put a dress on her with shoes..

I'm not girlish girlish but I like 2look presetable...I have always been a make-up fanatic. One time I made my mum spend like $50 on cosmetic lol....I have an obession with the black eye liner like your egyptian cat eyes, I have always been into that look...Off course I dont put much make-up and look like a drag queen lol, but I stick to the nautral look......

Well thanks for the reply. I had an appointment today and the heart rate was in the 160's. My Dr said the need for cerclage is 1 in about 100 for post lasers & leeps so while thats not WONDERFUL it is good. I did try and get him to change his mind about bi weekly appointments but he said it wasn't necessary, so I begin the bi weekly sonograms in 3 weeks (I will be 15 weeks then) He said they would watch until around 25 weeks after that he said if the Mom shows signs of preterm labor that give steroids and hope for the best...sooo I don't feel any better right now, but I am hoping for good luck!

Thanks for taking the time to write. May I ask if you had the cerclage because you asked for it or because at 14 weeks you needed one? I am 12 weeks and just also wonder if being seen every 2 weeks is frequent enough to monitor for that? Always something to stress about isn't there? :-)

i will post some today, my computer has been a little slow so it will be only a few. He is now 11 lbs 2 oz and 24 inches long, he got his shots today and he is pretty unhappy, but he took it like a little man. I hope all goes well on sunday i was contracting like crazy after they took the stitch out.

Oh thats great news, i remember charlie wouldnt move down at all, he was a very lazy boy (like all men)

Ill keep my fingers crossed for you. False labour is the worst, its gets you all excited doesnt it, and then nothing!!!! So frustrating. Hopefully lil poppy will be here soon. xx

xx P.S Charlie had his needles today, he was smiling so much before then he cried for about 10 mins straight after she done it, awwww broke my heart he did.

One more week and your stitch comes out are you nervous?????how are you doing besides that. we are doing good i go for Nicks two month appt tomorrow i need to post some new pics he is so chunky now but its so cute. Hope all is well
