Today we found out that we are having a girl, we are going to call her Poppy Jane. The name means so much to us and words can never explain how much we want her in our lives & love her with all our hearts.

I have a cerclauge in place & i have also been given a date for that to be removed (05.10.08) 36 weeks, after that Poppy Jane can arrive anytime, so i thought i'd find out what Madam Zaritska had to say.......

But there is more. Although you may feel tired, your pregnancy will be over before you are truly ready to let go of having this precious baby you have all to yourself. I sense that you will look back and long for these days. I suggest doing something now to preserve some memories of this time. Many women enjoy making a belly cast. So first day of week 13, I am so excited to be here even with all we still need to go through. I have an NT scan on monday, am working at an exhibition for my company Tues, Wed, & Thurs then on the following Tuesday I have a cerclage fitted. Hopefully once the ceclage is fitted i can stop being such a worry wart. I still havn't told many people about baby. Want to tell everyone. That will come soon i'm sure.*************

Well to day is my daughters birthday she's 17 & i feel old!!!! Today is also my 1st midwife app. Hopefully she has a boppler i am so eager to hear/know anything about my baby. I had a m/c last may at 16 weeks so am so anxious & pre natal care here leaves a lot to be desired!!!!

Thanks - you are so right. I did speak to a dr. in the end. Not the one who prescribed it but my normal dr. He seemed to think it was fine?!!?? Still not found anyone else on such a high dose though and scared myself silly with all the horror stories online. I reckon we could all write a book between us on IC/bedrest. There is so much conflicting info out there but the people I've learnt the most from are everyone on this forum who can tell from real experience what's working and what isn't. Especailly in the UK...my dr is so blase! I have to go to him with all my research to get him to do anything (which I'm sure he hates!)

Oh well if I have a hairy faced baby with strange girly bits (!) at least she isn't one that was born at 25 weeks with goodness knows what else wrong.

Give Poppy a big kiss from me and I hope you are managing to get a bit of rest!

Aww look at Poppy! Wow you have me more anxious than ever for January to arrive.so I can meet Cristiano. He's doing great, pushing on my ribs and making himself at home. I've been just trying to relax at home on bedrest but it's not easy cause it gets hard watching all that needs to be done and unable to leave it alone, but I'm trying. How has life with Poppy been? She's so adorable!

Ur welcome sweetie, im doing good thanks for asking, im really getting nervous as the time gets closer just small silly things like " will I be a good mum " I guess its all natural thoughts though but other then that things are great im super excited xx

Were all doing really well thanks for asking, just enjoying my little man, he had me crying with joy again yesterday, he woke up so i went to pick him up & just as i said hello, his little face lit up with a smile for the 1st time & my heart just melted, i think i phoned everyone to tell them! lol.
He just sleeps & eats such a good baby, i give him his last bottle at 7pm & he wakes up between 3am & 4am, if i could just stay awake till 11pm for his last bottle i would get a solid night sleep im sure but by 9pm im wacked & very ready for bed!
Hope youre not too uncomfatable, are ou ok?

Yes - it's one daily. Just got a call back from my dr. and he said it is right! Doesn't sound it from what I've read but I really must stop not believing my dr!

in answer to your comment - I'm doing well! Cervix has grown again. Managed to scare myself silly over progesterone pesseries....I am worried I'm on too high a dose - waiting now for my dr. to call and confirm what it should be...I'm on 400mg a day and everything I can find on the internet says 100 or 200mg a day! Terrified little lady will come out with a horrible side effect - I wish I could just stop stressing about EVERYTHING!!!

Anyway - on the good news front she now weights approx 2.9llbs!!!!

She's so beautiful! But oh my goodness...what an earth was that delivery all about! You deserved a nice pain free delivery....I hope the tear heals swiftly - sounds really scary.

Enjoy your little lady. Don't forget you'll get the downer for a bit and it's normal....I remember balling my eyes out with my first one and not understanding why!

Let's keep our fingers crossed that after all this the little lady is a brilliant sleeper!
