My boyfriend Nate and I are expecting our little guy to be here late June, early July. He has lots of family waiting on him and many people super excited for his arrival, including me! So far my pregnancy has been unbelievable and if I could get some sleep I wouldn't have too many complaints. He is an active baby and constantly moving, which keeps me very well distracted and smiling often. :)

I am working at the moment and plan to up until he decides to make his way into the world, then I will be taking the summer off and maybe returning. We are still deciding. Would love to find something I can do where I would be able to spend more time with him.

I would love to hear from any one from Montana (especially Helena area) or any one who can offer me any words of wisdom as I become a first time mom.....Love the word Mom, dont you!? :)

Hi, I was just induced on Monday the 7th. They broke my water & gave me pitocin thru the IV & i did it with NO pain relief. It wasn't too bad, i did very well breathing thru my contractions but @ some point after I was more than 6cm dilated I kind of lost my mind. I think the pain was pretty bad & i was passing out in between contractions. And i kept dry heaving. But honestly, the second she came out & she's 9 1/2 lbs, I felt GREAT:-) I felt like my old self, like I could get right up & run around. So I thought it was worth it:-) Good luck either way!!!

michelleb - Friday, 11 July
Its only natural to be nervous hun, good luck with everything and the safe arrival of your lil man x

JenPregWIth3rd - Friday, 11 July
ive been induced with all 3 of my babies because tyhey were over due. 2 out of the 3 times ive had no pain relief at all. I only ended up having pain relief with my 2nd as labour went for 35 hours, but didnt get it till 5 hours before she was born, so its very possible, i wouldnt go 30 hours again though with no pain relief i dont know what i was thinking lol. good luck!

Hi. My second son was induced with the gel to soften my cervix, when I was 8 days overdue. He ended up being 10lb 6oz, so we're not talking about a small bub. But of all three of my labours, this was the only one where I actually coped well enough to do it without any pain relief at all. So yes, it definitely is possible. I guess it probably depends on how they induce you too, and if what they try works, which in my case it did. Good Luck.

Hi hun, i was induced and gave birth without pain relief although i didnt realise i was in labour, i was given the pessary but the midwife told me not to excect anthing to happen as i wasnt dialated at all, she said that it may take about 3 pessarys for my labour to start but 2 hours later i started to get pains about every 5 mins, i just thought it was the pessary softening my cervix, it wasnt untill my partner went and got a midwife 5 hours later i realised i was in full blown labour and was 7cm dialated, how thick am i lol, i will know for next time x

thank you so much for your support, its very comforting to know that people care even when they're complete strangers... i just had to vent yesterday as all my family and partners family have stress of their own to deal with given the circumstance, but its again, lovely to know i have support even from those that dont even know me. take care and good luck with bubz :) xxx

aanaka - Monday, 30 June
I'm from week 23 but I like to read the due mamas posts : P
I just wanted to let you know how jealous I am of you!!! I am from Montana and I'm stuck in Louisiana and it is alot hotter here than there. I married a military man while I was living in great falls and we moved way down here then got divorced so now I'm stuck here with custody and can't leave the state with the kids for more then a vacation. UGH!!!
I can NOT wait until I am able to move back home : ( I am so home sick for my Montana.

gracie1128 - Friday, 27 June
Well I am 3cm and lost my plug and he knows that... so no fooling him. That is why he is so freaked out, cause he thinks that the door to the baby is slightly open. I think he might be done waiting now too, so maybe he will try soon. Don't know, we will see.

It sounds like your doctor is talking about "milking the cord" it's when the doctor pushes the blood up the cord. You should definatley put in your birth plan that you would like the cord to stop pulsating before it is cut and NO MILKING. My doctor told me that thstoe consensus is that it IS beneficial to leave the cord till it has stopped pulsating as in the past it was depriving babies of 30% of thier blood. Good luck to you and remember, what ever you ask, your doctor MUST honor it, as long as it is not harmful to you or the baby.

NO lol. his cousin whom well. she calls her child that lol and i wouldnt want ne damn association with her lol or her child. shes all nice and all but lets just say NO with capitals. and i dont like the middle name cause its his dads name like my husbands middle name is his dads name adn i feel like his dad is going to think that we are naming her after him or something lol and i dislike his dad. i like Braeden im not used to it but i like it and our son already calls her Braeden. lol. i dont know. like rayray is cute but his cousin calls her child that.(dammit i sneezed and peed ..shit lol) thank you for the suggestion.

Natos - Monday, 16 June
Whew! Im relieved to hear that. Bowling really sounds silly. Why couldnt she recommend something easy and relaxing to the body like swimmin. Lol i dönt mean rigorously, i mean launging off in a pool and letting all the body weight go by floating and maybe doing a lap or 2. The weightlessness is blissful.

I think its just the pressure on your bladder i had the same concern but if it was amniotic fluid you would leak on your undies noticably after going pee, i have the same thing i will wipe and then more comes out!

araya-sunshine - Monday, 16 June
Yeah, I'm peeing like that too. Its because the baby is putting so much pressure on your bladder... seems like the babies head is blocking the pee or something. When your water breaks its like someone dumped a gallon of water on your crotch all at one time. Its unmistakeable!

autty - Monday, 16 June
HAHAHA....I guess it could all be his weewee but it's not. The one on the left is from his butt. You can see like half his leg on the left, his manly parts and then on the right is another leg but it kind of looks like it's in pieces. The us pic on the right is similiar but you can't really see the leg that's on the right of the picture. It's kind of cut off but you can still see the leg on the left and you can see the penis there in the middle.

autty - Sunday, 15 June
Isn't it funny how EVEN THOUGH we know we have nothing to do with it we still do the things that MIGHT help. I'm drinking my raspberry leaf tea right now....I know it's not going to actually put me into labor but it MIGHT help make labor shorter...I'm going to walk to our community pool and then swim for a couple of hours then WALK back!!

greenrose - Sunday, 15 June
I do that too - pee trickle pee trickle.... then get up and sit right back down and pee trickle.. :S I think as long as you have the ability to stop on demand, you're ok. And I actually went in on June 2 because I thought I was leaking and they swabbed and said I was feeling more moisture because I had started to dilate. Not sure if this applies to you,but something to keep in mind. I've also been paranoid about leaking and they say that you wouldn't be able to stop it and it would leak through your undies to your pants. Not like a gush like your water breaking but definitely not able to stop it like pee trickles. - - - I have no idea if that helped, or was just babbling!! ;) Good luck!!!

firsttimer09 - Monday, 9 June
