hi all. FIRST a big congraulations to all the moms

well im 22 and this is my first baby, wasnt planned but the best surprise in the world,

Live with my partner, and he could not be anymore wonderfull. we say this is our first real baby as we have a husky and hes like a big baby... he loves cuddles wakes you up at 5 in the morning cause hes lonely and wants to play, (hope he takes the new little arrival)

just about finished the nursery. not sure what sex baby is and not planning on finding out till baby is here, so have choosen simple and relaxing colours and teddy bear theme. so keep an eye for the pics will be adding them soon

Hi everyone - THanks SO much for all the great comments. I'm going to try to read them later today and post a pic. The windows are being replaced inour condo this week so I'm in a hotel then going to my sisters so I don't have access to my computer (sneaking on hubbies laptop whilst he sleeps) Cadence was born at 11:20am Sept 9th after 40 hours of labour (came on Sunday night so no induction required) I will post the birth story and photos later. She was 12 days late - with a calcifying placenta that I couldn't get a photo of for Dani LMAO!!! Looking forward to catching up with all of you in the next week or so xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

I won't recommend you go to the doctor bc they will tell you that you are in early labor. I was like that before I had my daughter. I did go in later that evening and had her the next early morning. You are doing good. You should be good and almost ready when you go in. You will know when to go in. Just wait it out a lil while. I waited a lil while and I went in at 5cm dilated. Hope this helps you.

Hi ladies! thanks for all the great supportive comments! contractions are fast and furious so I'll be heading to hospital very soon. Did not have to be induced as I started labour last nite! Dani u were right! I won't be back on line unless they send me home or when I get home! 12 days late!!!! Good Lord do I win a prize for that? or is it just the 'google' award LMAO!

By mouth 2 or 3 a day vaganally insert one at night go up as far as u can go prefubally right to ur cervix ul find that it will leak out plus the coating i think will come out of u aswel if that makes sence u might find inserting it will maybe bring labour on after a couple of days i supose u could pierce the capsules get the oil out and actually rub it on ur cervix but if u do that get ur bf or some one to do it 4 u

i had the baby FINALLY 15 days late after having 4 prostin tablets and my waters broken she was born after 5 hours of labour and 40 minutes of pushing....

yes thats right i said SHE lol. i got a girly baby and i couldnt be happier shes absolutly adorable, Andy and i called her Amy Felicity as he likes the name Amy and i wanted to call her Felicity after my friends little sister.

ill be putting pics up in a jiffy so keep looking, im gonna be changing my profile lol xxxxxx

hahaha im still here! not with baby! i got sent home coz theres too many ppl doing it naturally and they have too many in for induction and too many having emergency sections!! so little old me got fucked off!! TYPICAL gotta ring back at 2 pm to see if i can go in :( if not its tomorrow. if im not getting done today im just gonna shag all day long lol I am NEVER gonna get this babyxxxxx

I see you have 3 onesies, a first outfit and a going home outfit (+ your accessories like mittens) for bubs. It kind of depends on when the baby is born, eg if baby is born at 11pm, then you stay 1 night an leave at the end of the following day, 3 onesies would be enough. But if you give birth at 8am, then stay that night + the next day, I would personally pack and extra 3 onesies as this is probably what bubs will live in until changed into the going home outfit, that allows for 3 accidents per day, which should be sufficient if you are going to use disposable nappies from day 1. Hope this helps ;) Other things I had on my list were luxuries like CD player to get my son used to his going to sleep music (he already hears it now each night, so might provide some comfort) > but at my hospital I get to stay 4 nights / 5 days for a natural delivery, so I think its worth lugging the CD player in.
