Hello all! Excellent day today. Bunny Bun had a really great scan this morning and it's official- Bunny is a Girl! We're so happy. Honestly it didn't matter what we were having, only that the baby is healthy. Now it's time to start up the shopping and decorating the nursery. Love and hugs to all and I hope that you're having a good day today. We are!

Hello all. Had a bit of a scare on Tuesday. Headaches, saw those little silvery stars and was light headed all day. I thought I may have been coming down with this flu that's been sweeping the lands-After work I came home to try and lay down, to only become restless and worrisome. I went to triage and found out that I was dehydrated and my blood pressure was up. I felt bad because all day long, I tried to wait it out thinking that my "off" feeling would pass. Eventually it did, however there could have been something more serious happening to us and I didn't heed the warnings. I'm grateful that this was a minor issue and can be avoided in the future by monitoring my salt intake...no protein in the urine and I'm not pre-eclamptic as of this point.

On a more pleasant note, we find out what we are having this Tuesday- can't wait. I think we are having a boy- Daddy wants another little girl. I'm happy either way. We have a couple names picked out. Dante Lee and Nya Belle... I'll post again soon! thanks for taking the time to read my blog!

NT Scan went well today...Bunny Bun is doing well. Wasn't as active as we would have liked to see and that's ok. Melted my heart today, that's for sure.

ahhhh deep breath here. Tuesday during a cervical length measurement ultrasound it was discovered that my cervix was starting to funnel from the inside out. I was consulted on getting a cerclage- which this exact happening was what we were hoping to catch with the biweekly scans- and I elected to have one. We did the works- spinal block-cut away and pushed up part of my bladder to get the stitch up higher and we made it out ok with minimal discomfort. I will tell you this, I knew for a long time that my cervix wasn `t `normal ` and that I was going to have issues with this pregnancy- however my dr `s really didn `t seem to understand what I was trying to tell them. An incompetent cervix/soft mushy cervix like mine doesn `t `look ` incompetent on an ultra sound. It wasn `t until I was on the operating table and they manually examined my cervix were they able to determine that the fibers of my cervix were to flexible they could have put a finger through it right to the baby. This catch in the changes of my body were meant to happen. I believe that angels were watching over us on Tuesday. I pray daily and thank God that this opportunity was given and allowed to be taken. We `re on modified bedrest and will find out this afternoon after my follow up scan if I can return to work on Monday. I `m hoping that I am able to go back. At the very least this baby needs to stay in for 7 more weeks according to the surgeon. I `m not so good at the layng around thing. I will update later on this afternoon.

follow up scan went well. We are able to return to work Monday with very limited activity. The cerclage is in a good position and Bunny Bun is doing well too. Her h/r was 166 this afternoon. To all of those that have shared their cerclage stories and experiences, thank you so much for your input. It helped me become a better health advocate for myself and I appreciate it- we appreciate it so much. Thank you for being around for us. xoxo

Aw thanks! I haven't seen you on here in a while! I guess little Nyah is really making you work! How is she doing!? I bet she's getting big too! Yeah, I'm anxious now! Ready to have her, not because I'm uncomfortable (I see you read my last entry :) but because I just wanna see her- what she looks like, how big she'll be, all of that! I'm sooo excited, especially since I finished her room! This time has gone by so fast! I remember when we first met on here, I think you were only in your 2nd trimester! Time flies and I know she's gonna grow up quick so I'm gonna cherish every little moment of her just like I have with the pregnancy! I'll definitely keep you posted!

hey ladies hows it going? Iv been wanting to say hello to a few of you for a while so ill do it all at once coz im lazy and babies are time consuming lol. I hope everythings REALLY good! :D im doing fine AMys a bit under the weather but shes okay shes just clingy its an excuse to get more cuddles i think hehe.

Andy and I are doing really well and hes been offerd a pay rise at work with lots of perks which means we may be abl to sell the cars and get a nicer one to hsare rather than 2 rubbish ones lol coz hes been offered a van from work so well still have two ways of transportation :D
Also were talking to my dad about theposibiulity of him buying a house and us paying the mortgatge on it... only coz we cant afford to get one at the moment with the current climate and all that jazz but my dads so sensable with money he can so we just have to keep our fingers crossed that hell be able to do that for us.; I want amy growing up in a home not a rubbish rented house. But my little house has done me proud its just enfuriating not been able to decorate her bedroom and what not lol

Anyways other than that implodding along nicely start work in feb which now i look back really isnt that far to go and i dont want to go back and leave my baby girl for a moment but ill have to! i may only go back part time tho depending on how much money andys bringing home etc

its so stressful lol

well it all depends on what sort of work you do if its a government job say vic roads which does all the car regestration you get 14 weeks full pay or 28 weeks half pay ..... if its not a government job and you just work in the suppermarket then its not payed but your possition is held for you so you can go back to work after 12 months if you chose to.... the government is bringing in payed maternity leave so i beleive im not sure when it will start the way that works is you pay more tax to cover it ....
we get lots of bonusus over her for having babies we get $5000 for having a baby which we use to buy the baby things it needs the money is payed out in $330 lots forghtnightly , then there is a parenting payment which is also fortnightly payments and the amount you get depends on what you and your partner earn ... because i dont work we are entitled to $377 a fortnight pluss the $330 for the bonus so all up we get $707 a forghtnight ... at the end of the tax year we also get a baby bonus of $600 a child i beleive im not 100% sure on the exact amount ... we are very well looked after over here.....

now my appointment went fantastic i had my scan in 4D and ive been told its a Girl but im sure we will hav it double checked in a few weeks just to make sure ..... my cervix was measuring 3.2 centermeters wheich is great and the baby is no wher near mmy cervix so when i go into the hospital i should get a great length to stich which im excited about ... i will put a picture of my scan in my album for you to see ...

so the hospital rang and im booked in for the 9th december ...not long to go ive started to feel a little pressre in my cervix im no sure if its just me but im getting checked todat anyway .... ill start to relax soon... wow you guys dont get much time off we have 1 year maternity leave over here and the government is trying to bring in 2 years that will be nice..... well i gotta go im off to my appoint ment ill check in when i get home and fill you in on the news thanks so much for all your help your an angel xoox

After they got her breathing he woulnt get off her she was a good 30 minutes old when i finally got to hold her hehe never mind! her favorite person in the world got her 1st.. her daddy lol

Long time! Just wanted to see how you were and give you an update! I hope you're still keeping me in mind for a job! The boss is looking to fill my spot so I won't be coming back here. Good cuz I hate it anyway, bad cuz I'll still need a job SOMEWHERE! Anyway, i had an ultrasound yesterday and Tauri is head down, 5.9 pounds! I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow! This time is FLYING by! Hope all is well with you and Nya and you've developed some kinda time management skills or something seeing that you're pretty much on HER clock now! LOL!

Yep. I started with cereal this weekend because he was starving and I was losing track of how many bottles he was drinking also! I'm in Pittsburgh today and missing my baby soooo much. i cried when I left him this morning but I'm better now. I will back home tomorrow, thank God!
