Hello all! Excellent day today. Bunny Bun had a really great scan this morning and it's official- Bunny is a Girl! We're so happy. Honestly it didn't matter what we were having, only that the baby is healthy. Now it's time to start up the shopping and decorating the nursery. Love and hugs to all and I hope that you're having a good day today. We are!

Hello all. Had a bit of a scare on Tuesday. Headaches, saw those little silvery stars and was light headed all day. I thought I may have been coming down with this flu that's been sweeping the lands-After work I came home to try and lay down, to only become restless and worrisome. I went to triage and found out that I was dehydrated and my blood pressure was up. I felt bad because all day long, I tried to wait it out thinking that my "off" feeling would pass. Eventually it did, however there could have been something more serious happening to us and I didn't heed the warnings. I'm grateful that this was a minor issue and can be avoided in the future by monitoring my salt intake...no protein in the urine and I'm not pre-eclamptic as of this point.

On a more pleasant note, we find out what we are having this Tuesday- can't wait. I think we are having a boy- Daddy wants another little girl. I'm happy either way. We have a couple names picked out. Dante Lee and Nya Belle... I'll post again soon! thanks for taking the time to read my blog!

NT Scan went well today...Bunny Bun is doing well. Wasn't as active as we would have liked to see and that's ok. Melted my heart today, that's for sure.

ahhhh deep breath here. Tuesday during a cervical length measurement ultrasound it was discovered that my cervix was starting to funnel from the inside out. I was consulted on getting a cerclage- which this exact happening was what we were hoping to catch with the biweekly scans- and I elected to have one. We did the works- spinal block-cut away and pushed up part of my bladder to get the stitch up higher and we made it out ok with minimal discomfort. I will tell you this, I knew for a long time that my cervix wasn `t `normal ` and that I was going to have issues with this pregnancy- however my dr `s really didn `t seem to understand what I was trying to tell them. An incompetent cervix/soft mushy cervix like mine doesn `t `look ` incompetent on an ultra sound. It wasn `t until I was on the operating table and they manually examined my cervix were they able to determine that the fibers of my cervix were to flexible they could have put a finger through it right to the baby. This catch in the changes of my body were meant to happen. I believe that angels were watching over us on Tuesday. I pray daily and thank God that this opportunity was given and allowed to be taken. We `re on modified bedrest and will find out this afternoon after my follow up scan if I can return to work on Monday. I `m hoping that I am able to go back. At the very least this baby needs to stay in for 7 more weeks according to the surgeon. I `m not so good at the layng around thing. I will update later on this afternoon.

follow up scan went well. We are able to return to work Monday with very limited activity. The cerclage is in a good position and Bunny Bun is doing well too. Her h/r was 166 this afternoon. To all of those that have shared their cerclage stories and experiences, thank you so much for your input. It helped me become a better health advocate for myself and I appreciate it- we appreciate it so much. Thank you for being around for us. xoxo

Hey... how are you? You're getting the cerclage removed tomorrow?? Wow... you could have a baby by the weekend! That's so crazy to think about. Things with me are going well.. I've been off of work for about a month and have just been hanging out. I get tons of BH contractions, but nothing to signify any real progress. I'm not in any big rush to have the baby... my husband and I are enjoying the peace while we still have it,, but we are so excited to find out if it's a boy or a girl and to meet him or her. Take care and let me know how the removal of the cerclage goes.

Just wanted to let you know how the cerclage removal went. It did hurt a bit. As soon as the Dr. removed it, I dilated to 2 cm and am now waiting on my contractions to get stronger or my water to break, which ever happens first. Now it just feels like I am having menstral type cramping and bleeding. They said it is normal to have some bleeding for a day or so. I hope all goes well for you on Wednesday. Remember, all of our bodies are different and what is painful for one may not be for another. I pray your removal is as painless as possible. Keep me posted and best wishes to you and baby.

I got mine taken out today.. hurt just a tid bit.. like a pap smear. I went in to labor again last Friday.. but they stopped it. I hope it's not too much longer.. I'm so miserable!

The muddy butt thing and nausea have both been back for me this last week from the first trimester! Ughhh! I saw meet the browns, it was a little too goofy and too long but Rick Foxx was eye candy that I enjoyed, lol :)

Sorry to hear we are in the same boat. I'm so ready to have this baby girl! I was freakin out the other day when I thought I was going into labor but realized that it was just BH. I then packed my bag fo the hospial because I realized how close I am. Yesterday. my doc said that if the pain become too intense with the BH, I could possibly move the C-Section up to next Friday. It was nice to hear I have yet another option, lol, but I still do not know what will ultimately happen. If I can hold out I will. I'm just very uncomfortable and damn ready to stop working.

Once the stitches come out on Weds, assuming you make it that long, will you be induced at that moment?

I am sorry to hear about the hip pain. I am doing ok, just already ready for this to be over with. My mom and dad have been REALLY excited and ready to buy things and spoil it already. I know you can't wait to hold that precious thille girl in your arms and be done with all the pain. Keep me posted

Yeah I know right! But I was born with sandy brown hair so it could be slightly true. 6 pounds seems to be smaller than I imagined, but I'm cool with that too! LOL! It's 95 degrees right now but I haven't even been out the house yet! How have you been feeling?

Girl stay away from the freakin scale! Hubby and I decided that once Jordan is born that we will start working out with my son (he runs 9 miles a day!) I know what you are thinking and hell no I'm not runnining 9 miles a day, LOL! But we are both a bit fluffy now and his warm up routine will work for us at least. Jordan and I will have to walk the track while hubby attempts to run :)

I know what you mean about having a creative hubby, it saves you a ton! Charleston is a former contractor and has basically rebuilt our entire house himself, includng a media room, gotta love a man who can use his hands and save tons of money!

Your stitch will be out in 8 days! Girl we are almost there! You better get that stroller and diaper bag this week.

Today is my 41st birthday and Charleston and John made a huge cake for me (many years ago, he used to be a chef in the Navy as well) I just took a peak in the fridge and it is incredibley beautiful, like nothing I have ever seen, I love that man! I will take a pic later and download it, you will not believe this!
