I'm Courtney, I have been using this since I was in my first trimester pregnant with my little angel, Edyn Annelyse. My husband and I tried for a year for her until I was finally diagnosed with PCOS. We were so blessed to get pregnant after I was on medication for less than 4 months.

Now we are adjusting to the bottles, diapers and endless crying. Thank the good Lord I have both a wonderful husband as well as my mother living with us right now.

This site has been an incredible source of information to me. I tell all my friends who get pregnant about it.

Sunday, 9 Dec

Feeling yucky lately. I'm not hungry, just nauseous! And when I do eat, I can only eat a very little bit or I get very sick, like I've eaten a whole cake or something. I don't know what's wrong with me, I am worried I am starving my baby only eating two meals a day.

Sunday, 16 Dec

Feeling really good today, actually, too good. I hope this is the light at the end of the m/s tunnel. Almost in the second trimester, only 5 days to go!!!

Thursday, 20 Dec

Went to dr today. I had a small bleed near my uterus 3 weeks ago and it has gotten bigger. I am on full-blown bedrest, but it isn't a huge risk to our baby. It is going to drive me crazy. My mama came from Lafayette to be with me until my hubby comes home in a week. I am so disappointed. Guess I will work on the scrapbook I am putting together for our darling baby.

Thursday, 10 Jan

Went Tuesday to see about my bleed and it was totally gone. I am so happy and I am back on normal activity. I cleaned house like a madwoman. Didn `t take long for me to need a nap though. And my darling was moving all over the place. He had his hands all in his mouth, even sucking his thumb once. I never get tired of seeing him. Going on the 6th of February to find out the gender, but Mommy `s pretty sure he `s a boy!!!

Friday, 1 Feb

have been feeling pretty good lately. I go on the 13th of February to find out what my baby is but my hubby will be offshore still. I am still convinced it is a boy but I `ll take anything healthy. I can `t wait to find out if I `m getting a Jadyn or an Edyn . . . .

Monday, 4 Feb

I felt my baby move this morning! I am so very happy. He kicks me when I roll onto my tummy!!! I love it

Thursday, 14 Feb

It `s a GIRL!!

Saturday, 1 Mar

We are naming our little girl Edyn Annelyse

Dont quit cold turkey. If you decide to quit, it's going to have to be a process. You'll have to drop a couple feedings a day for the first week, then drop a couple feedings more the next week, and so on and so on. If you quit cold turkey, it could lead to infection as you will become so engourged.

I had a section, too. How is yours going? I am getting frustrated by my lack of mobility and that I can't get off the couch too well. My boyfriend has been great, but I still think that maybe he keeps forgetting for a few minutes that I am trying to recover from major surgery and must take it easy. Are you breastfeeding? I am finding positioning extremely difficult with my incision (mine is vertical) and large breasts. . .
I guess I just need to touch base with someone in my predicament. . .

The shakes happen right after delivery but if it's been 5 days it may well be something more. Do you have a fever?!!! I had the same thing after my 2nd c-section and had a slight infection. I would call your Dr. right away to let them know. Good luck!

bellamaphone - Tuesday, 1 July
I didnt have a c section but I did have the shakes after my daughter was born, I would shake and have to put a few blankets on me (and its summer) to warm up. I was told its a release of hormones that have been storing up and mine went away in a week!

uncmommy - Tuesday, 1 July
i had a section on the 23rd and i haven't had the shakes. i did however, get the spinal headache which was horrible. i had to get a blood patch done which was more painful than any part of the section. i was in the hospital for 5 days. i'm good now though as long as i remember to take my pain meds. my little girl is doing great though. she's just tiny.

I just got some new pictures up of the girls and of our new driveway. I'm now getting ready to take down the chicken wall paper that's in our Kitchen. Hopefully we can paint it in a few weeks as soon as I get it down. Hope all is good and hope to talk to you soon!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!

TopazBecky - Tuesday, 24 June
My rings do the same thing, too! It's gonna be so great to get some dexterity back in my fingers and toes- OK, my whole body! I am being induced, so I heard it takes longer for the swelling to go away!

yari - Tuesday, 24 June
Thank you! We are so far so good, and if I completely forgot what "no sleep" meant. I am determined to just focus on being thrilled I am able to walk without limping and eat without reflux! Pics should be up soon, hope you go any second like I did! =)

Mommy@33 - Monday, 23 June
Yes, you will stil bleed, but typically it is not as heavy. This is due to the fact that when they perform your c-section they can remove (suction) a lot of the fluid that typically wouldn't be removed if you gave birth vaginally.

uncmommy - Monday, 23 June
you do still bleed, but mine was not bad although i have always had light periods.

trishx - Monday, 23 June
Hi , I had c-section on 5th June and am still bleeding a little , was only heavy for about 3 / 4 days.

happymomma2be - Monday, 23 June
I am having a c-sec, too, and I was told to bring sanitary pads as there will be bleeding. I don't know how long it will last, but at least I know to bring them! Sorry, I can't help more. I know some hospitals provide them for you, but I would rather bring my own brand of pads! Haha! Good luck on your surgery! :)

elberoncfg1 - Monday, 23 June
ccq- i gave birth on 6/7/08 and i just stop bleeding yesterday.

sexymama021 - Monday, 23 June
I had 2 vaginal births and this last one c section. I bled WAY more w/vag births. I am on day 4 after my csec and I barely have any bleeding at all. I could probably get away with a panty liner. The abdominal pain is a lot worse though. Sorry but I have to be honest!
