Ok, so... I actually was pregnant earlier this year. I lost the baby at 10.5 weeks on July 13th. I am now pregnant for the 3rd time and things are going beautifully, we conceived yet again very very quickly, even after the miscarriage (only 1 mont). I waited to get back on this site until I was out of my first trimester and at 12 weeks in 2 days, I figure I am close enough after hearing the beautiful heartbeat. So...here I am on here again.... there is a little background information about me and my hubby below if you are interested. Otherwise, I would love to chat and talk about all of my experiences to anyone that is interested! I STILL am good friends with 2 of the girls that I went through the pregnancy with on this site 2 years ago with my daughter. So the women on here, although we have never met, can be very close to your heart.
Hey there!
Well, I am on this site for the second time, was on here through the entire first pregnancy with my beautiful daughter. It was such a help and joy during that time as my husband was deployed the whole pregnancy. So a little about me, my name is Katie and my husband is named Matthew. Married almost 3 years with a beautiful 22 month old daughter named Layla. We have been through 3 deployments and 3 wonderful years of marriage, even after 80% of it he has been deployed and away training. It works for us though, he's my best friend and the sweetest husband ever (slightly bias, I know, hehe). We just moved to gorgeous, sunny Florida and live on the beach. As for careers, I just completed my Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a concentration in premedicine, however, I am a stay-at-home military wife and love it! My husband is a Combat Controller in the Air Force Special Ops and has been for over 6 years now! We love this life, although very trying at times, but it's a wonderful thing!
We have been blessed with easy conceptions every times, my daughter conceived after less than a week off of birth control and my new baby conceived in one month off the pill as well, the most recent after 1 month post miscarriage. We must be completely in sync or something, especially since my husband was gone training and didn't get home until later in the month! What a whirlwind and joy!
As for things we enjoy, we are both athletic buffs and enjoy being outside and mostly on the water! We kayak, even with Layla, she loves the water like us too! We run and rock climb and just love life to the fullest! We are very devote Christians and our beliefs and views support that!
I love meeting new ladies on here and cannot wait to get as into it as I was last pregnancy! Check out my old name if you want....AFKatie!!

Sept 9: 2 days before missed period, found out I am pregnant via strong positive home pregnancy test
Oct 6: 8+ weeks pregnant, 1st ultrasound, things going beautifully.
November 28: Felt first movement
December 3rd: 2d/3d/4d U/S confirms IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just for fun, differences in this pregnancy from my 1st:
VERY large and sore chest
TONS of nausea early on
Headaches after the nausea wore off
Cravings after cravings (never had any with daughter)
Craving healthy food
Cannot eat ANY sweets, makes me sick
VERY gassy
Not very tired (VERY tired with daughter)
Baby sitting VERY low in belly
Skin has stayed relatively acne free (broke out TERRIBLY with daughter)
Hair looks better than ever (was real stringy with my girl)
Weight Gain early, but has slowed a lot ( I just kept gaining with girl)
Baby's heart rate just a little slower than with the girl
LOTS of pressure very low in my belly, can hardly have pants on b/c it hurts!
Tons of uterine stretching pains much earlier than with daughter.
TONS of really early, terrible heartburn!!
Our newest addition will be named:
