Ok, so... I actually was pregnant earlier this year. I lost the baby at 10.5 weeks on July 13th. I am now pregnant for the 3rd time and things are going beautifully, we conceived yet again very very quickly, even after the miscarriage (only 1 mont). I waited to get back on this site until I was out of my first trimester and at 12 weeks in 2 days, I figure I am close enough after hearing the beautiful heartbeat. So...here I am on here again.... there is a little background information about me and my hubby below if you are interested. Otherwise, I would love to chat and talk about all of my experiences to anyone that is interested! I STILL am good friends with 2 of the girls that I went through the pregnancy with on this site 2 years ago with my daughter. So the women on here, although we have never met, can be very close to your heart.

Hey there!

Well, I am on this site for the second time, was on here through the entire first pregnancy with my beautiful daughter. It was such a help and joy during that time as my husband was deployed the whole pregnancy. So a little about me, my name is Katie and my husband is named Matthew. Married almost 3 years with a beautiful 22 month old daughter named Layla. We have been through 3 deployments and 3 wonderful years of marriage, even after 80% of it he has been deployed and away training. It works for us though, he's my best friend and the sweetest husband ever (slightly bias, I know, hehe). We just moved to gorgeous, sunny Florida and live on the beach. As for careers, I just completed my Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a concentration in premedicine, however, I am a stay-at-home military wife and love it! My husband is a Combat Controller in the Air Force Special Ops and has been for over 6 years now! We love this life, although very trying at times, but it's a wonderful thing!

We have been blessed with easy conceptions every times, my daughter conceived after less than a week off of birth control and my new baby conceived in one month off the pill as well, the most recent after 1 month post miscarriage. We must be completely in sync or something, especially since my husband was gone training and didn't get home until later in the month! What a whirlwind and joy!

As for things we enjoy, we are both athletic buffs and enjoy being outside and mostly on the water! We kayak, even with Layla, she loves the water like us too! We run and rock climb and just love life to the fullest! We are very devote Christians and our beliefs and views support that!

I love meeting new ladies on here and cannot wait to get as into it as I was last pregnancy! Check out my old name if you want....AFKatie!!

I know where you're coming from girl! CONGRATS on this one!! I've been through loss this year too. You'll be in my prayers. I'm almost 14 weeks and still trying really hard not to be scared. Idk about you but I haven't quite figured out how to use the potty w/o checking each time

I'm super excited for you though and I know we'll both be holding beautiful babies in our arms in May!!

I have a question for you guys. My cousin just told me she is 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant, due on July 27, 2010. Her HCG Blood results were 112, the blood test was taken even before she missed her period, her docs said it was low, and today she will find out what her 2nd test numbers came out as. Her doc told her it should have been anywhere between 5 to 456. Does 112 sound low to you guys even if it was taken before she even was due for her AF? Thanks, Dana

hey everyone!!! i hope that everyone is having a great day. the rain left and the sun is out..everything is going good here..9 more days and i will get to see the baby so glad..i was messing around with the doppler today and i heard the baby heart beat finally..but the baby kept running away to..well have a good day ladies!

well ladies im home from the doc appt..the doc appt went great..the doc had another hard time finding the heart beat again..then finally found it and the baby was moving away and kicking at the dopper because it didnt want to be bothered at all..Oh another good news is that on Nov 24th we will find out if we are having a boy or a girl...I have a feeling its a girl already..Oh another thing is that my husband wants to know first and then when christmas comes he is going to suprise me with a gift letting me know if its a girl or boy..cant wait..i have to get blood work done again..=(..hope everyone is having a good day!!!!

hey ladies!!! i hope that everyone is having a great weekend.. well last night and i and my husband went out on a date..well a couple nights i was laying in bed i felt this hard spot on the right side..husband said it felt like the baby..so i decided to roll back over and went to sleep and after i rolled over i got kicked..well today i was feeling my stomach and i felt that spot again and then i left it alone..so i felt my stomach again and its back to soft again..u ladies dont think that it would be the baby??

hi im ashleigh. i had a loss at 22 week in april this year and i am 14 weeks preggo again now. i think its the most terrifying thing to worry about this pregnancies. i hope your coping ok and hope your pregnancy goes full term smoothly and a healthy baby at the end. so sorry you had a loss too x x x

Hi there,, thank you for your message and your story on your page, I mc on 090909 and have now had one period which has just finished (i have a feeling i may have mc again with this period) so we are trying very hard from tonight onwards as i should ovulate over the next week...thank you for being positive about getting pg after mc,,i just can not wait to see two pink lines again, then hopefully a wriggly bean on the screen and then a blessing in my arms, to hold forever..best of luck with your little one..

Honestly this has been an extremely hard pregnancy. I feel like someone took who I am and threw her out the car window! Everyone keeps saying, "Every pregnancy is different!". Yup, night and day between my son and this one. I am hoping this might mean it's a girl and will actually be finding out on the 17th, as long as the little jelly belly cooperates! My friend is an ultrasound tech and she will scan me whenever I want! Anyway, I'm going to go upstairs and relax and unwind now that my son is in bed. Blessings!

I am so happy to see that you are having a healthy pregnancy this time around! I too miscarried my second pregnancy and am so relieved to be near the end of the first trimester! I think miscarrying is something no one can understand unless they have been through it. It is devastating. Congratulations, to health, love, and life!!!! hope that everyone is having a good day..im not liking this cold weather..=(..I and my husband are going out friday night and doing something.so my mom is going to watch the kids..last week on facebook my husband found my brother and sis..I havent seen them in 8yrs..long time..i have been talking to my brother and he is a laurel cop and he is in the military..he is coming here for thanksgiving and i cant wait..well thats it nothing else is going on..see ya
