I am a mom to a beautiful baby boy named Chase. He is cute, funny, happy, wonderful, amazing, smart, lovable, cuddly, and I couldn't be anymore proud to be his mommy! I also have a step daughter who is 11 named Ashley, and am married to a crazy, funny guy named Mike. We are from Northern New Jersey, and own a pizzeria. I always joke that Chase is a "Resturant Rat!" He hangs out at the pizzeria sometimes and all the customers love him, and he loves all the action! Anyway I looovvveee this website, I have been addicted since I was preggo! Hope all my fellow mommies and babies are happy and healthy!!! : )

Tuesday, 15 April oh your welcome - i googled pku and read a bunch before i posted..but don't you just love all the scarey things that are out there? it makes you second guess yourself as a human being! JennSever -
Monday, 14 April i really don't think you need to be worried - try to make sure that his diaper isn't rubbing against his button..i had this happen with a few of my babies, but i used a bit of rubbing alcohol to help dry their button out. momoffive -
Sunday, 13 April He he he, your post made me laugh. My kids are soooo spoiled! The dr. has commented with each baby how remarkably round there heads are. It's because I don't want to listen to them cry at night so I hold them. There little heads hardly ever touch the bed. I wish I could give you some helpful advice. I would be a lot less tired if I could let them fuss it out and sleep on there own. My kids all have slept cuddeled up to me for the first 2 years! Makes for a tired mommy and a cranky husband (lol) If you don't want them in your bed for the long haul, get them sleeping alone now...Otherwise enjoy the extra cuddles :-) They don't last forever. I'm on my 4th baby and the others all made it to there own beds by the second year (although I did wake up to my 3 year old sleeping accrossed my legs last night) BabyH -
Sunday, 13 April I've been holding my daughter for 5 weeks now. I've tried swaddling, putting a shirt that smells like me and even laying her next to me and nothing has worked. I invested in a sling so she'll sleep during the day while I'm up getting things done. If you find something that works let me know. caitlyn12284 -
Saturday, 12 April My son is now 3 weeks and he will only sleep in the bassinet during the day...?! But at first during the night I would have to sit up and hold him all night, now he is sleeping in our bed with my husband and I. I still try to get him to sleep in the bassinet at night but after a little while, I give in. Whatever works for you and your baby. hopefully once he is a little older he will feel more secure. We'll see I guess. Good luck!! :) babyintheoven -

I have the same problem I rock my son to sleep then I think he's in a deep sleep so I go to put him down no matter where on my bed, in his crib, in the swing and he wakes up the only time he doesn't wake up is when he's so tired he just can't fight it anymore. Don't worry just keep trying before long I'm sure they have to learn to be by there selves.
