My profile
My name is Christie and I am expecting our 3rd and final child. We have 2 amazing beautiful daughters! Tara is 14 and Mylee is 2. We do not know what we are having and did not find out what we were having with our daughters. I can honestly say that waiting to find out what you are having is so totally worth it!!!!!! I am married to a great guy and am completly happy and satisfied with my life.
So far at 23 weeks i feel FANTASTIC. Minor complaints here and there but nothing to big. We had some problems in the beginning of this pregnancy and spent the day in the ER because we thought we were loosing the baby. But so far so good.

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Thursday, 14 August Thanks, glad I'm not the only one going through that. I agree, I hated being a teenager! It's even harder these days! It's even harder to deal with a teenager when you're pregnant, thank goodness it's not for long... shellers -
Wednesday, 6 August I know what you mean, I just told my husband I'm starting to feel like I did in the first trimester. Tired and nauseus. Not much longer to go! kmf -
Sunday, 3 August Yeah, I had the same experiences with the dieticians I talked to. I felt like, "What's next? Are you going to give me a food guide pyramid to color?" Sounds like you have it under control! Good for you! I had to get on insulin. Now my levels are 120-140 an hour after I eat. Usually. They're usually under 90 if I haven't eaten for a while. I'm making a list of things I want after delivery. Included on the list are a cherry coke, Twix, regular coke, french fries, and some other things I've been denied. lol! Good luck and keep it up! kmf -
Wednesday, 23 July I hate meeting with the dieticians. I really hope you have a better experience than I did. It may take you a little while to get the hang of it because everyone's body is different and reacts differently to certain carbs and sugar. But, hang in there. kmf -
Tuesday, 22 July (about GD)Well, you can expect to change what you eat. That's the hardest part for me. You really have to stick to a specific diet....finding that diet was a challenge for me...even with doctor's help. Pairing complex carbs with lean proteins is better than eating simple carbs (like candy bars and all the good stuff). I had to learn what all that meant! Keep your head up. Docs and nurses made me feel so stupid and like I was a bad mom. Don't let them make you feel that way. Just do your best. It really is a learning experience, but when you finally see results in your numbers, you will feel a lot better. I had to be put on insulin to finally see results, but now it's under control. Good luck to you and congratulations on your pregnancy! eves -
