Well, Ladies....I am back after my yearlong hiatus!!!

Kender is doing well. He is eight months old today and into EVERYTHING. He just started cruising along furniture and opens every cabinet and drawer he can find. He has said "Mama", "hi", and "hey" and just learned to wave bye-bye. He keeps me VERY BUSY because he rarely sits still. We are recovering from the fire that sent me off of i-am-pregnant last year and have recently started renovating an older house on Lake Murray. On the whole life is starting to get back on track and I can't wait to find out what all of my old buddies are up to!!!

I feel the same way about going to the East coast. My husband and I have wanted to go to New York for a really long time. Looks like that is going to have to be put on hold even longer. Yes, I've lived here my whole life. I think I'm a little sheltered :)

Hey Sweeteie... We can still get together. It will just have to be a couch party. I am just not allowed to get up. If ya'll wanted to come over one Sat or Sun you guys could. Chris and Kent can hang out in the man shop and shoot pool or talk about fishing and we can hang out on the couch. It's up to you guys. I know it is a little bit of a drive. Chris has also been driving me nuts about taking out the boat. He says he needs to run it. The guys can bond. Let me know 'K'.

Hey Clarissa... Well, I am up and running on the internet again. Chris spent a long time last night rewiring our house so I could take my computer into the bedroom. I have to say it isn't as easy to type lying sideways. So, if I have a lot of type-o's you know why. I hope you are doing great and enjoying your weekend. Thank you so much for being there when I needed it. Tell Kent Doug said HI. Talk to you soon...Lisa

Thank you for reassuring me that it's not all in my head, but that I'm actually having trouble with insomnia. While I was leaving a message for lisatek, I noticed that earlier you were looking for a leather diaper bag for your husband. I found one for my fiance at csnbaby.com and he loves it. It looks like leather on the front flap. Or there's duematernity.com. Check it out if you're still looking.

I would love to go there. I've never been to any state past Colorado! I live in Simi Valley. I doubt you have heard of it. It's a suburb. It's in Ventura county, about a hour from Los Angeles.I love it here. It's close to everything, but still is a small town.

Thanks. I really like it. My husband loved it, at first, and then I think someone said they didn't like it, so now he second guesses it. I told him you will never find a name everyone likes. I like the name Walker, too. It wouldn't go with my last name either and I'm all about having the first and last name flow :)Do you like living in South Carolina? I've heard it's beautiful there.

jill - Thursday, 1 Mar
Well, I like it. I've never heard it before. We like the name Jackson. It's the only one my husband and I can agree on :) Thanks for the compliment on the pictures. No, we didn't get married on the beach. We took our engagement pictures, there though.

Hey Clarissa... We are naming him Parker. We wanted something a little different, but not so odd that people can't say it or spell it. I would love to meet up one day. I always have off Sundays and almost every Wed. I actually work for Alltel. The job was great until recently. I have made really good money there for Walterboro:) I have a manager that is a 23 yr old male who doesn't understand that pregnancy makes you tired. He expects me to work 55 hrs a week. I got a Dr.s note yesterday though. I have to treat him like a little kid. But, what ever works, works. I don't know when I will stop working. I wish right now. I figure if I complain enough to my Doc he will put me on maternity leave. Which I can receive up to 6 months. About the whole maternity clothes subject... I hate them too. My problem is I have chicken legs that are long with a huge stomach. All maternity jeans are short and if they fit in the stomach they are huge on my legs and they sag. I found that of all places Targets jeans fit the best. Then, when the get too small I just cut the elastic in the band so they fit my belly. I also live in yoga pants and the Pink drawstring pants from vic secret. i still wear heals just not my tall ones. Before I got pregnant I bought the cutest pair of red suede Steve Maddens and I have yet to wear them. I am tired of being pregnant. Mine really hasn't been complicated or anything, but I am uncomfortable. I feel so restricted on the things I can do now. I just want to be back to myself. I know it will all be worth it in the end, but for now it stinks. Parker is very active too. I fell him moving all the time. He rolls around a lot where you can see it on my stomach. I can't wait till I can see a foot or some other body part poke out. well, I have to run. I am super busy the next coouple of weeks, because my mom is flying in from San Diego and I will be with her and my sister for a week in Charlotte at my sister's place. But, I definatly want to take you up on meeting. Chris was all excited when I told him about you guys. He wants to meet some people that have the same intrests as we do. By the way... He wanted to know what happened to your bost. Too many beers that day. J/K Talk to you soon!

luckymommy - Thursday, 22 Feb

(dress pants and jeans)

Hey sweetie... How is Kender??? I don't know about you, but I am so ready for this pregnancy to be over with. That's so funny what you were saying about your mom working here. I am from San Diego originally b4 I moved here and Chris grew up on James Island. His family owns Anderson hardwood floors, which the mill in walterboro is where they start the proccess of producing them. That is the only reason we are here. Chris' mom passed away about a year and a half ago and she left chris a 3,600 sq ft house that was just built on deep water in James Island. We had to sell it because of the drive. :( So, we are making it out here. We have 16 acres of land and we are building a house right now. Our 2 bdrm wasn't big enough with a baby on the way. But overall we are very out of place out here. Our Lexus Suvs cost more than most houses out here:) Chris fishes once and a while. He isn't into hunting at all. That's why he hates living here, bc that's all people talk about. I am quiting my job when the babies born, so I am sure that we will be out in the boat a lot. That is if this watermelon dissapears off of my stomach and the inlaws want to babysit. It is so weird that you are so close and we have the same duedate and boys. Funny Huh??? Well, I have to run but let your husband know if he wants to go out onm the boat this summer ya'll have met the right couple. Even though you and I might have to stay behind for this first summer. Talk to you soon! Lisa

lisatek82 - Monday, 19 Feb
Hey Clarissa... As soon as I saw your message I was so excited. It is so nice to hear from a normal pregnant woman from the area. Here is the boro all you see is the redneck whose my babies daddy types. My husband and I are both not from here, so we have barely any friends in this town. Everyone is just so odd. They think that everything you wear or use must be purchased at Wal Mart. So, how often do you guys go down to edisto? My inlaws have a river house at Bennitt's Point. We have a 2006 22ft scout that we take out all summer long. Well, maybe not this summer. I hope to hear back from you soon. It would be great to meet up with you sometime. Talk to you sson! Lisa
