I am currently in my 2nd pregnancy.. I had a miscarriage in Feb 07. Everything is going great this time. My doctor saw the heartbeat on an ultrasound at 8 weeks and said we have less than a 5% chance of miscarriage this time.. We are both very excited. I have a very strong feeling it is a girl. Can't wait to find out for sure in February...

11/27/07 well I started having some spotting last night and went to the doctor this morning.. there was no heart beat on the ultra sound so I am supposed to have my 2nd miscarriage any time now.. Scheduled for D&C tomorrow morning..

2/15/08 I decided to have some blood tests done since I had 2 miscarriages in a row now and everything came back normal. Since my progesterone was low during my 2nd miscarriage my doctor put me on Prometrium but I still lost the baby at 11 weeks.. so this time I am taking Prometrium on day 14 of my cycle through my first day of menses until that wonderful day when the test is positive then I will just continue taking it through my first trimester. Praying for a healthy baby next time..

3/26/08 Great news!! 2 positive home pregnancy tests... went to the Dr. today to get my blood work started to make sure my HCG levels are doubling.. I believe this pregnancy is going to be perfect.. My Dr. is keeping me on the prometrium to make sure my progesterone levels stay up.. Thankyou God!!

3/31/08 Doctor's office called today to say my HCG numbers and my Progesterone numbers are GREAT!! This is proof that God Answers our prayers.. I know he is watching over this one..

4/25/08 Had my 8 week appointment today. And the doctor says everything looks great the hearbeat was 167 which they said is very good.. Have been so tired and nauseous lately. Can't wait until 12 weeks to relax some.. I still beleive God is taking care of us ..

5/15/08 Since my doctor is on vacation next week I had my 12 week check up a few days early.. heard the heart beat at 176.. It was the best sound Ive ever heard in my life.. God is good.

6/3/08 I started feeling ill the last few days so I called my doctor just to make sure everything was ok and I got to hear the heartbeat again.. it was so great.. I could also hear the baby moving around alot.. I love that sound

6/20/08 Had my 16 week check up today.. and everything is great hb was 153 and the baby kicked the Dr. while she was listening to it.. I have started to feel a few thumps over the last couple days.. We are very blessed.

6/24/08 I had slight spotting today and went to my Dr. Luckily it is nothing to do with the baby .. just the ligament stretching causing irritation in that area.. but they did an ultrasound just to be safe and told me its a boy.. Looking forward to meeting Graham Bradley in December..

7/18/08 Had our 20 week U/S today and Graham is measuring perfect in every way.. He was moving around so much. It was so exciting. I feel him kick all day now.

I would say anything that moved was a lifesaver. Baby's are used to ur constant movement while in ur belly. A stroller is good. the infant carseat will rock back and forth, a cradle, a swing, a car ride, etc. When they get older ( 3 or 4 months old) thry like to see bright colorful object that move. My neice is almost 3 months old and loves to be held over your shoulder so she can look around.

not really any morning sickness to report, just a little nausea and a lot of peeing. i'm doing pretty good for the most part, just waiting for that first appointment and hoping they will tell me everything is fine. thinks for thinking about me. how's everything with you?

kah1675 - Wednesday, 16 July
Not sure we will cause it costs over $100 to get one.
Especially since I am still not working.
A place just opened here in town but.....hopefully they will do another session later on that's FREE like they did last week but wouldn't let me go cause I was not 28 weeks.

Hope you are feeling well.
Kendra

Yeah...the nurse told me my HGC was 698 which she said was good. My progesterone was 16.1 which she said was ok but they would like to see it at 20, so they are increasing my Prometrium dosage to 200mg per day and I am to take that for the first 10 weeks. My first appoint is set for Aug 1st. I feel so good about this one. I think I'm like you and needed the progesterone boost. How are things going with you?

I am going to take another HPT tomorrow and assuming it will be another BFP, I will call and make an appointment. I will ask about getting my HGC and progesterone levels checked. My doc said we would be given the option for an early U/S since I miscarried last time, I'm assuming that will be 7-8 weeks. I have a really good feeling about this pregnancy, I just feel like it was an act of God that we even got pg this cycle and that it is meant to be. Thank you for all your prayers, they mean so much.

Hey guess what?!!! I got a faint positive today! I was surprised because I really haven't had any symptoms other than being emotional, crying for no apparent reason one day. Last time my bbs got bigger overnight. I also thought we might not have BD close enough to O, we only BD about 48 hrs before O and that is it. I guess it just takes that one time, ha, ha! I was actually testing today to rule it out because of the holiday weekend, but I guess I was thrown for a loop instead. I had to have Andy look at it to make sure I wasn't seeing things. So no drinking or tubing on the lake for me. I could care less about the drinking but I was looking forward to going tubing, I probably shouldn't, right? You don't think the Prometrium could give a false positive, do you? Hope everything is going good for you and have a good holiday!

Oh boy! It's a boy!!! My best friend is also having a boy, she is due early Sept. which was when I was to be due if I hadn't miscarried. It was exciting at first when we thought we would be going through everything together, but things happen for a reason.

Well, I am glad your spotting turned out to be just a yeast infection and that little Graham Bradley is doing just fine.

I am good. I just went to the doc yesterday because I was worried my post ovulation phase was a bit on the short side. I just wanted her to check my charting and get her professional advice before trying again. She prescribed Prometrium. I am to take that for 14 days after I see signs of ovulation. I started taking the first batch yesterday. There's a slim chance we could conceive this cycle but I'm not getting my hopes too high. we will see. Thanks for checking in on me.

I see things are going well for you...That's so great! I'm so happy for you!

I'm not off of it yet, i have an appt. on Friday but I think she had told me before that i would take it through my 13th week. Yeah me too i'm kind of scared to get off of it. But I heard a lot of the side effects is like bloating, nausea so maybe all that will be better once i do stop taking it??? I sure hope so. Well best of luck w/you and your family. I'm sure will chat again throughout our pregnancies =) ~ LT

luvmylifemomnwife - Tuesday, 20 May
Hi there!! I had a m/c in Sept and i'm now 12 wks. I also am on progesterone suppositories. My last appt I got an ultrasound and everything looked good. HB was 170. I wish u all the luck and you will be in my prayers. God Bless!!!

JandJ4evr - Sunday, 18 May
I was afraid to stop taking it too. my doctor told me to stop taking it at 12 weeks, but I stopped at 12 weeks 3 days. (just to make me feel a little better. :D
I know it's really scary to go through, but you're going to be fine. I just know it. I had my baby girl last friday, she's perfect! so i'm proof that prometrium works! keep in touch!
xoxo

Thank you sooo much, I couldn't have said it better! He did some extratests this last time and my progestorone levels came back normal. However, my betas (hcg) were extremly low (2025) the night before they did the ultrasound. I learned that the pregnanyc ended @ 7.5 weeks. That was strange to me considering my loss in October was way different. @ 12 weeks, I had a 5 week sac and I had already began to bleed quite heavily but my beta was 4075. IDK, I will have the chromosome testing done I was 6 months along when I miscarried with my daughter and I remember(like yesterday) a nurse uttering something about chromosomes, so I would like to have that definately. The success rate with a mutated chromosome(s) in 1:10, so I don't want to keep going through mc's. It really affects me emotionally. I have not had unassisted sleep since April 30. Congrats on your pregnancy, you can't help but be excited about each one. I pray God sees this as your time. Thank you so much for your input it is very appreciated!
