Wow I can't wait to start this new chapter of my life! My husband and I got married in may of 06 and have been trying ever since!! We had so many troubles at first, but I didn't understand because we were so young??? After a lot of invasive tests, we went to an infertility specialist, they put us on clomid for a while, then 5 months later they upped the dosage and did an IUI, it worked the very first time!!! In the beginning they called it unexplained infertility (what a horrible word.) I've always been the one who wanted kids, even when I was still a kid!! Anyway for all of you who tried for a while, the feeling of desperation and just complete anger are overwhelming... and if your finally pregnant CONGRATS! The day I took the test I had already felt defeated, after seeing negative for two years you feel hopeless, BUT..... it was positive, I had dreamed of seeing those two precious lines, I don't think I've ever cried harder in my life!!!

I was in the hospital last week with kidney stones as well. Mine still have yet to pass. I had this with my last pregnancy too. It seemed to have no affect on the baby. He is 21 months and doing fine!! Sorry you had to go through that, I know how bad it sucks.

I went in for my 12 week check-up in January(thinking I was almost in the "safe" zone)Only to find out the embryo stopped growing at a little after 8 weeks. Apparently it happened roght after my previous check-up, we even saw the baby's heartbeat on the moniter during the ultrasound. Congrats on your pregnancy.

no they wouldnt give it to you if it wasnt safe, they have to look that stuff up before they give you any type of medication

Have a pretty bad cold right now so I was just reading up on all the safe medications. Never had strep myself, but did read that you can take penicillin and antibiotics while pg. Also throat lozenges and tylenol are safe if that will help you till you can get to the dr. Hope you feel better! Being sick is bad enuff, but when ur sick? Ugh! Shame on that mom for bringing her sick lil girl out in the first place and THEN subjecting you to it!

I can't remember whether they give you antibiotics for strep. I do know they can give you something for pain (if it gets that bad) and a shot of steriods to lower the swelling in your throat (again, if it gets that bad) I've had strep 3 times before, it sucks. I'm sure if you go to the doctor there is something they can do without hurting your baby.

Hey I just read your question about the strep, and the only way to get rid of actual strep throat is with antibiotics & untreated strep throat can lead to much more serious complications. My advice would be to go to the Dr. to get it checked out. It also could just be a viral infection, but I would get it checked out.

I had my 4d ultrasound done at 29 weeks. They recommend between 26-32 weeks,. I got some great phots of him laughing and of his face.

Hi I got my Doppler today just bought it yesterday from Ebay it was used but looks new. I only paid £20.00 uk money which was a bargain as they sell for £70.00 ish. I tried it out and found the heart beat straight away. I only bought so my little boy could hear the heart beat. I read on internet you can also use k y jelly or body lotion not just the special gel you can buy. So i used my body lotion and worked great. Once baby is born I'll be putting mine back on Ebay and hopefully get most of my money back. Hope you get one ok, And your pregnancy is going ok Debz x

I bought mine off ebay. It's the same kind they use in a dr's office. As a matter of fact my doctor wants to buy it off of me when the baby is born and I no longer need it. It is chargeable so you don't need batteries. I love it!!! I've attached the link to the exact one I have.

I actually have this one- Hi Bebe BT-200 Fetal Doppler/Heart Rate Monitor. I paid 115 and I have been able to her my daughters heartbeat since 14 weeks. It works really well no complaints it actually keeps me sane in between doctors visits. It tells the heart rate also. Well Good Luck. You might want to check e-bay

It's A Girl! Yea!!!! I am so excited! The doctor said she looks wonderful & is very active! Her heart rate was 157 beats a minute & she was waving at mommy! I can't wait to meet her in October. Have A Great Week!

Hey! No we havent got anything for Isa , but we already know were to buy it at. The problem is that my hubby was so sure we were having a boy, that everything that he had in mind was for boy, and I just played by hear... Now when we go back to Toy's R Us we have to pick everyting again... We cant really decorate Isa's room that much, cuz we are not allowed to paint or hang to many thing in the wall (japanese housing rules sucks) but we are trying our best to make it look girly...
What is funny is that Josh is so exited he cant set his mind on ANYTHING... it is very cute, I just sit back and watch him. hahahhaha...Have you felt Kaleb move yet?? That is my nephew's name, and he is adorable....
