Hi everyone,
I want to say thank you so much to all of you that commented on my blog and... we have a heartbeat
I called the EPU this morning and they said to come straight in. The u/s tech saw the hb straight away and as soon as she saw it she turned the screen round so I could see it too. She has me dated at 5+4 which sounds about right to me.
I am so relieved but I am also aware that it is early days.

Jon is betting boy too, which I find funny b/c he has always wanted a girl. But right before we found out we were preg he started having dreams about the 18 week ultrasound and everything being ok and the baby being a boy. He is clinging to that for dear life so we are going with it.

Ladies thank you all for your comments, info and reassurance about the heart palpitations. I had no idea how common it is during pregnancy. It is nice to know I am not alone and my heart isn't going to jump out of my chest! It sure feels like it at times. I will be sure to take my iron as many of you said this is a sign of being low on iron, which I was at my last apt. I will also mention it to the doctor at my next visit but feel so much better knowing it is pretty common and will go away soon! Again....thank you!
